that's because textures and overall level of detail had to be scaled back a bit in favor of full polygon assets
and also being true 3D
it doesn't look like much today but believe me it blew us away at the time
there still wasn't any hardware 3D acceleration for the consumer market when it released so everything had to be chugged through the CPU

It's ridiculous to think we'd do a plastic case. The reason for the module was literally swathes of complaints about the plastic case being included in the regular 60HE.
