Switch stuck to a standard panel for quite some time, and even after the wii-u sales expectations would have at least been 5m units.

I personally find the screen on the deck perfectly fine for something like a vn but I may just be less critical.
Do I think it's a great screen, no but it is good enough for what it is, and for more intensive games the deck does not have the processing power to handle something more.
Sure if sourcable going 2560x1600 would be better but it would be harder to source, and less power efficient.
I think the ideal for the deck would be a vrr custom made oled.
Or a faster console and a 1080p screen.

Of course such an oled would probably require a lot of volume to be viable.

Just be aware that the vanilla portion of FF14's campaign is a little... dated? It is definitely a case of "it gets better in the expansions"

So if you like the gameplay, but feel like the story is a bit meh, I'd recommend sticking with it.

Also you will likely be able to juggle two classes with all the bonus EXP you'll be receiving later on.

And yeah new player bonus means you easily have two classes you can do from just main story content for the most part

That IS a strong point of FF14. You're not skipping any lore. Whereas in WoW you're going to be completely lost in context right away.

They've changed the start and provided exp bonuses so many times that you'll be jumping in and out of old expansions with no rhyme or reason.

You would have to stubbornly keep playing an expansion that isn't the current one, just to get context clues and a plot that is coherent. While you're so overleveled that everything dies in a single hit.

The ladders are placed fuck knows where so I have to go to the opposite side of the ship, climb a ladder and then run to the front to be able get to the front habs

I made a 2x1x2 floor design, basically a just narrow 2 floor design

And instead of the game placing the ladder just next to the landing module to get to the 2 floors easily

It placed the ladder AT THE OPPOSITE SIDE OF THE SHIP

with different weapons

thing is easy to get

hauls all the shit

only downside is that it is slow

So you enter the ship, have to run to the very back, climb a ladder, run back to the end of the ship, climb another ladder, and then you get to the cockpit
