Chaos mechanic is cool that it exists, but yeah like Mansen said it's kinda there to prohibit "going overboard" and to punish you for not being stealthy

Yeah that's my main gripe. Interesting concept, but like Mass Effect's dialogue system, it ends up locking you into some very specific paths very quickly.

There isn't a lot of room for making the "suboptimal" choice. And the fact that the DLC relies on a low chaos state for certain things doesn't help either.

Just like Mass Effect pushed you hard to always pick the Paragon option to have access to later Paragon option.

Not a lot of nuance or choice. And Dishonoured is similar. You really can't do veer away from the path more than a few steps before it's chaos.

You use the 'Install' function on your XBOX 360 to dump the games from the disc to your removable drive
Then you just load the files into Xenia

Only reason you legitimately have an .iso file is if you're ripping from those specific DVD drives (which only applies to a certain subset of older games anyway), or you're converting those files you dumped for some reason

otherwise you're a pirate who goes onto the Xenia Discord server and then posts a .log file with Red Dead Redemption - Undead Nightmare (USA, Europe) (En,Fr,De,Es,It).iso, not gonna get any support after that

Hey guys, is there any chance someone could help me out with my wooting?

I play a source movement game called surf and I’ve been struggling a lot with my wooting, I was expecting to have better results by now as it’s been around 4-5 months of use, but when I plug in my regular ducky keyboard I instantly have more speed.

I feel like I have delay or some kind of lag in my key presses, I’ve played around with actuation and rapid trigger settings (including turning it off) and I’ve made it slightly better but it’s still bothering me a lot. i imagine while its not their denuvo drm it needs to use the same virtualization and encryption shit

otherwise its hard to imagine how they achieve the anti tamper of the executeable

so its as bad as their drm performance wise but it doesnt call home for licensing

yes but denuvo drm also has a denuvo game license. the anti tamper is basically just the obfuscation, vm and encryption

so you could theoretically use the anti temper on a drm free game

theres multiple issues i have as a pd1 and pd2 fan: always online (why?), seasonal functionality like an esports shooter (double why?), killing modability with denuvo anti-tamper (triple why?), gameplay looks largely unchanged so itll be as boring after playng the same maps 60 times (quadruple why?)

Yeah and with game knowledge stealth is also quiet easy since that means you know where guards move etc. so it all relative difficulty

Depends. Some maps you can take your time, it’s not efficient then but I remember doing the first time stealth on that apartment with the secret room behind the bed, that took forever because we wanted to avoid failing at all lol

Because that makes SO much sense in a game where you have an entire party of people.
Gently poke the charismatic bard to convince someone mid conversation? no no. The dumb barbarian technically said "Yo" and now every single skill check is theirs.

I decided to avoid BG3 after PlagueOfGripes reviewed the game's beta, IRC one of his major complaints was that the game felt like a "sweaty GM"
As in: most games and good GMs have learned that rolling for everything at complete random often feels bad for the player as there will be times where they'll lose rolls multiple times in a row, so since only they can see the stats, DCs, and enemy rolls they might award a player a victory or failure arbitarily if they believe it would increase player enjoyment. As an example Xcom's percentages are often not accurate to what the game is actually rolling against, the game will infact often give you a better chance then is indicated when targetting an Alien. Balder's Gate 3's propensity to give harsh rolls combined with tough DCs and an inability to build skills very high means you will often find your character failing rolls they are meant to be specialised in with dialogue being the worst. Which immediately leads into an encounter with no recourse to fix the bad dice roll.

Maybe they fixed that from the beta, but I know a lot of people do like the uncertainty of a machine randomely assigning you a success or failure
