the tricky part is having the server not on a fixed x ticks loop but have it independent and apply everything accurately

And walking speeds etc, because of analog which this keyboard is built upon we can detect how far down you press and with xinput which controllers use, eg Xbox controller you can actually use this in game.
So most games that allow controllers in theory allow you to take advantage of this in game.
In Overwatch you can pretty much walk slow if you apply little pressure to the keys, like when you apply little pressure to a joystick.
