Idk if i want to get into it now but tldr: balanced or neutral has been proven to be the preferred tuning for speakers. If you talk about balanced or neutral headphones/iems the goal is to emulate the sound that you get from those while putting the speaker closer to your ear. "Balanced" or "neutral" does not mean "boring". That is a misconception. You can also still EQ your headphones to adjust certain bands to be more to your liking, for example i added a bass shelf to my hifiman edition xs but changed nothing else, while others will change a lot of other stuff too because their particular anatomy makes it sound different on their head.

emulating speakers sounds good on paper, sure, but headphones completely bypass room acoustics & physical chest impact, you dont just hear a speakers bass with your ears, you feel it in your body, because headphones lose that tactile slam, a 'neutral' speaker simulation can sound thin or boring to some people, hence why I said it isnt everyones taste. Ultimately, you almost have to overcompensate with colour or a heavier bass shelf just to make music feel alive

At the end of the day the only thing that matters is that the best headphone for you is the one that is easiest to tune to where it sounds the best for you

Speakers give you natural crossfeed, your left ear hears the right speaker, which creates a natural soundstage & depth. IEMs & headphones completely isolate the channels, Unless you are running a crossfeed filter or DSP, a 'neutral target' curve is just a frequency response approximation, it cant fix the lack of spacial acoustics unfortunately

Trying a PSP 1000 was the worst because the front is one solid piece, all shells I found used the PSP 2000 style shells too where the "glass" is a separate piece.

Biggest issue I had was fitment, there was gaps around the charging port and the LED holes didn't look that good.

I actually really love the split space bar because I play a lot of the shooters and normally the crouch and prone keys are separate key bindings and I used to do the mod key to where when tap c it was crouch on c and holding c was actually the p key bound to prone and then he came out with the split and I was able to bind part of my space bar to crouch and c to prone... I just liked it because like I used to have like the modded key to where if you tap to see and how you crouch and you hold see your prone kind of like on Xbox normally it's like press b for crouch and hold b for prone and I didn't really care that the games normally keep those key binding separated so I figured out a way to bind it to my c key to where it work but, I just like how the spacebar can turn into 3 different keys so I just put it to where like one's crouch one's jump and one's utility and then my seat key is my prone now I just felt like I was doing better at like rainbow
