so far with both of my sp004, both cold and hot weathers, the pad does me just fine to be honest. Neither feels cold or hot, more like chilly to warm. Sleevless, my skin doesn't stick even although i live in a really hot humid city . And im pretty sure Sp005 surface should be slightly more smoother and less "sticky" ig than sp004

Picked up the Viper V4 Pro today. Don't know if its really an upgrade over the V3 Pro. But on paper its lighter, has a faster click response and better battery life.

I got my V3 Pro on launch day. It's battery was starting to get bad and I've been having to charge it every 3 days even with polling dropping to 500Hz when I'm not gaming.

The shell shape is identical on the V4 from the V3 Pro. So in theory, I could make the V4 even lighter than the V3 modded. I've been looking into modding the V3 just to do it and then used it as my laptop mouse. I game quite a bit on my laptop and currently using a Deathadder V3 Hyperspeed on it which is kind of doodoo cakes.

If you want to get the most out of your headphones, EQ'ing is good. But everyone hears stuff differently. Using something like AutoEQ uses a measurement machine to calculate how to set EQ, but that's not how we hear. If you're going to EQ, learn how to do it and EQ to what sounds good to you, not someone else's measurement mic.

Hmm, Discord hadn't updated when I started typing. The last thing I saw was the response "best not to touch anything."

This goes for everything sound related though. Not just headphones. Same concept with Bluetooth speakers and car audio. Pre-defined EQ's may sound ok, but custom EQ's set to your liking are the best route. My DSP in my car didn't even have any kind of pre-defined EQ in it period. I'd assume all of them are like that.

i was changing my mouse skates and saw that my sensor is slightly covered with dust. tried to use compressed air but the dust remains. do i need to clean it somehow? i dont have sensor problem (or im unaware of them)

Everyone hears differently, that's why there's not a single universal setting for everyone. Everyone hears different frequencies peak at different ranges in headphones due to their ear shape, ear canal and head. You can kind of think of it like when you hear your voice when you speak inside of your head vs when you hear your voice on a recording. Audio sounds different to everyone in the same way your voice sounds different inside your head vs on a recording because in both cases, the sound is being filtered by your skull/ears before your brain hears it.
