I had 5 different G502 variants, i used them on low sens back then and got used to heavy no problem.
But recently when i tried out light and lighter gradually, i just don't see any reason to go back.
Theres perceivable improvement in how i use the mouse and my hands are more thankful aswell, it certainly doesn't need to work as much (so therefore it will not tire at the same rate either).
And yes i work, so i could still use 150g today for half a day with no issue, it's just "why should you when theres better/more clever approach".

I’d get it solid sides if you can, but the clicks are really crisp and light, sturdy build and pretty fun to use. I stopped using mine due to the slits (caused some pinky strain) since I didn’t wait for the solid sides to release 🥀, but overall really good mouse

I havent really had any cons personally, I know some older batches had a chance for uneven base but I believe that was fixed a while ago

Its magnesium so if you have ac your mouse is gonna be cold asf in the morning

As for pros, the optical implementation is amazing, shell is very solid, web based driver, battery life is decent

On 2k polling witj the 20k scan rate mode on, I get like a week's worth of heavy use before itll start flashing that its on low battery

Shape is really nice, but thats entirely personal preference

If I were to guess, it's tuned very similarly to hd560s with the major difference being the dip at 7khz rather than 8khz (could be just the measurement rig). Air on the headphone is quite significant but possibly close to edging the level that people find uncomfortable.
