My budget is 200 or the less
I wanted to buy fiio ft1 but then I saw it response consistency on rating.com that is says I will lose alot of base with glasses thats why im asking for other options
Most closed backs will have more significant bass drops when seal is broken since they rely on the seal for the bass response in the first place
maybe you can try an IEM, it deliver the sound directly to your earcanal
I prefer using headphones since i feel more comfortable on them
Does it really that bad using fiio ft1 with glasses?
Does it really destroy whole experience?
it happens on most headphones if you wear glasses, does it ruin the bass for you right now?
fiio ft1 should be a pretty good option, if you don't like them you could probably return them
Definitely find a vendor that accepts returns, first of all
FT1 shows a drop of upwards to 8 dB in bass when wearing glasses
Ive seen many recommend the Wallhack SP-005/004, can anyone confirm these are good options? Or perhaps a different option? Hope im in the right channel for this question
You are indeed
Sweet! Just ordered a wooting keyboard and saw this link so i thought why not join
if you want a glass pad I think they're pretty good, I haven't tried super many though
I prefer cloth personally
Welcome and good buy!
If you check your wooting hub and sync your discord you'll be pink too!
I currently use a cloth one too!
Meant to reply oops
I prefer a cloth personalky
Cant wait for it to arrive
I hate sweaty glass, but. I don't need agility, so
Well its either a new cloth mousepad or a glass pad for me rn
First of all i need to get a new mouse tho
Wallhack is generally considered goodz yes
I only bought my 3 glasspads for the designs but I just use cloth normally
But I like cloth so I have an Artisan, but that wasn't your question haha
imo only get glass if you're certain you wanna wear a sleeve everytime you play
I never wear a sleeve
Stwap
Well what ive been told is that glass does bring a comp advantage, this could also just be a myth tho
I mean sometimes I have a sleeved shirt but a lot of times I don't
My desk is like the ikea glass and I hate it
Advantage, eh
It won't make you better, it'll more...help you?
Like, it won't line up shots for you
glass can be good for tracking heavy games
Thats quite obvious
Sorry. I didn't mean to imply you didn't know that
It will not make up for flaws, I mean
Just feels like theres a higher skill ceiling when using glass, if that makes sense?
Is this the case?
Just like the wooting box says
Or allows for more accuracy, i should say
Hmmm, I personally didn't use it long enough to get used to the different like mobility
You do need a good light mouse imo
To use glass properly
I was gonna buy the Logitech Pro X Superlight 2
I think that should be quite good for it no?
beware that you'll have to replace the mouse skates pretty often if you use a glass mousepad
How often are we talking? Weekly? Monthly? Every other month? Yearly?
Around half a year
weekly or every other week maybe
depends on the material and how much you play
My skates getting worse and worse
regular ptfe starts feeling pretty bad after a couple weeks or so for me
Well these are 2 very different answers
Im still on default EGG op1w v2 skates soo
And im using my glasspad since 2025 april
Tbh i never even changed my skates in my life LOL
Full size skates are bad on glass. If you don't want to constantly feel dust and want more durable skates, use hardened PTFE dot skates like Obsidian air or Cyclone Pros
Everyone is telling me to buy a glass mousepad. Are they worth?
depends on what you play
I mostly play story games but im pretty good at Fortnite and i've been trying to get into apex legends
idk if its good for fortnite but itll definitely be a consideration if you wanna get deeper into apex
It is a major difference like a game changer for aim
but some people still prefer control over glass’s speed for tracking
of course theres control glass pads but its still going to be faster than cloth
imo, yes its a major change but wether its a game changer is really up to personal preference
Imagine you’re playing on an air hockey rink
There’s very little if any friction, it takes some adjustment to get used to
It’s probably better for tracking vs tacfps, but you could use it for tacfps with enough training but going from cloth to glass has a decently steep learning curve to adjust to
Real
I haven’t used Kazemi in a while, it’s also so fucking cold in the winter time esp this year
Rip
Whats the best way to clean Glossy OLED screens ?
Time to buy 1 liter of distilled water and a few soft microfiber clothes
That's how I clean all my monitors
i don’t need 5 LITER of distilled water
😬
I could probably have bought a mouse from money i spend on skates
my friend wants me stock up and buy a huge amount of skates for him when I visit japan
Totally not sketchy
i mean
It’ll arrive, YunExpress is just the final boss of slow delivery
YunExpress has a fine delivery time
Why do i wanna give another chance to Open-back headphones
But do you need a litre of cola?
If it has no sugar yes
yesss
I use a screen cleaner and its fine
iirc it's the same stuff that the apple store uses to clean the display units

expensive but worth it, distilled water in my experience just spreads the oils around rather than actually remove it
why buy when you can make
those cleaning sprays usually are distilled water, some ipa and some surfactant
But u gonna be disappointed in me bc i plan using it without any EQ
if you look at the SDS of this specifically it's like 0.125% benzalkonium chloride and 0.2% Chlorine Dioxide
if you are gonna buy a glass pad you should stock up on chinese dot skates
and the rest is water
ah its an alcohol free one
ngl i never got why they started making those
alcohol is a strong solvent and destroys screen coatings
water is technically a solvent as wel
cant say i have had that happen ever
but its nowhere near as strong
not like you gonna have 70% alcohol in there
I've seen it destroy macbook coatings
lemme find a pic
this is why you dont clean your screens with alcohol
the only things i know definitely will destroy stuff is when people are dumb enough to use acetone containing ones
the image you sent literally looks like acetone damage to the coating
achohol isnt as strong as acetone but its still a relatively strong solvent compared to pure water
I just used Window Cleaner to clean my screen
idk what windex contains, need to look at the SDS for that thing
i mean given most cleaning sprays have like .5% or so ethanol/ipa in them... i dont think itll destroy anything anytime soon
Me too
I dont eq my hd490 cause it's my perfect headphone
btw bleach also destroys coatings
just so youre aware
goes for both oleophobic and antiglare/matte coatings
fair, but I havent had issues with the 0.2% concentration in this formulation
yeah thats why im saying the alcohol ones arent really worse. they also dont contain even a percent of alcohol from the ones i usually buy
and its not like i buy the same. just the cheapest one at my local store
although thats just to act as a disinfectant iirc
the benzalkonium chloride is whats actually removing the oils
ye same for the alcohol. you could in theory just do distilled water and like a surfactant of your choice
the general rules are just:
- dont apply directly to the screen unless you have a spray mister so it doesnt bead/run on the screen
- dont use high concentrations of any chemical really
- best to use a damp microfiber cloth with the cleaning solution of your choice
I know some bar soaps contain benzalkonium chloride
but its like a super low concentration as well
usually 0.1-0.13%
i might be able to buy Clin MultiShine and clean my monitor with it as buying Destilled Water is a pain
meanwhile i just go to the next drugstore and can buy liters of it
I don’t wanna order 5 liters for 2 euro
The cloosest thing that i found for distilled water is de-ionized water
DI water is fine
My oleds user manual says to spray a microfiber with 70% iso to clean it
Its coming from la and I'm in Cali myself so it shouldnt be long
That’s a decent bit better than waiting for the 7 day circling around the China airport and then arriving for the usual 10-15 day shipping time from China for Aliexpress things 😅
Fr, stupid tofu redux took like a month to get here lol
Never had an issue with 70-75% alcohol wipes even apple support gives it the ok
And I've cleaned a lot of laptop screens
id not trust the average joe with that
Fair wouldn't give it a blanket recommendation just because some screens are going to have coatings
generally it should be fine to use tap water, but I'm not sure about 1st, 2nd, 3rd gen QD-OLEDs
4th gen Primary RGB Stripe QD-OLED should be better since it has a stronger coating
Yeah you'd want distilled water for those ones
It's the fact that tap water has excess minerals that can leave a film or mark on the screen
if it says its ok then its ok
mine did not say that so my coating is a bit scuffed

The idea of flat headphones sounds great! ...
I find the ShortCircuit reviews really lacking. He's being really vague at times like when talking about the power needed to drive them
LTT content in general really suffers from having people that are clearly not experts in their field do the reviews
Since the old crew left most of the content fron LTT is lacking
yeah has been lacking for years at this point
Short circuit is an unboxing and first reactions channel.
Personally I would not bother with it.
Incomplete and inaccurate too often
They measured the frequency response but it was otherwise a bit vague and lacking. Especially the power part
i feel like they try to appeal to a broad audience so they try to dumb it down (sometimes to a fault)
Pretty much, the Wooting video they made basically played off rapid trigger as something niche only racing games would benefit from like it wasn't the number 1 selling point of the keyboard
its not even that bad
and its cost the same as the HD560s that i would buy in my country xd
Depending on where you live there's also VAT
Can recommend
idk how much i would need to pay for Tax/vat tho
Haha ye that part sucked
Massdrop don't even fully declare it meaning I was charged a £10 admin fee on top
won’t be very difficult to calculate if you know how much vat your country has
272 plus any fees charged by your carrier
thats not really a thing in Hungary and even if that happens i pay it with the Tax/VAT
just got a new mouse! (pulsar x2 crazylight). is turbo mode worth turning on?
Gooner mouse
that counts as gooner? damn
Gooner is a pointless overused word now
yeah seems that way, i mean this is like the most clothed anime girl i have seen in a while
Bro Blue Archive is like king gooner mode
i mean eh ive likely seen worse
Triple 420mm rad build slowly getting there
Middle of the road more like
yea nah, imma just 3d print a mount to hang my mic upside down lol
my setup is way to hard to get any clamp mount on
holy goon mouse, but also no, dont turn on turbo mode
it kills your battery for no reason
ohhhhh thank you!
I ordered an artisan ninja fx zero (soft, xxl) and a Logitech X Pro Superlight 2, do these work well together?
Might be a dumb question idk
@rain turret atleast answer if u gon laugh at me🙏🏻
Yeah they work
Work at getting second place, should have gone for the Viper V3 Pro

It’s a mouse and mousepad so it will work fine, on soft and XS artisan pads if you use dots sometimes it gets stuck (sensor skipping) where it doesn’t track as accurately, but if you’re using stock full skates should be fine
Ill probably stick to the stock ones, thank you!
Fucking malware software
I have the 99 mid and the same mouse, works great. I changed out the skates for some ice v2's though, but works great
Me if i was uneducated
There's a websoftware for razer nowadays
You dont even have to install it anymore
only for their keyboard iirc
Holy
And specific boards
Definitely going in the right direction though
ASUS updates ROG Strix XG27UCG Gen2 monitor specs to 4K 162Hz and 1080p 485Hz modes
https://t.co/wDV14nvSbv
what are these refresh rates 😭
Sounds like 144hz panels with overclocking.
Uh.... more than that I guess, given the 1080P max 😄
Didn't Phillips release a 1khz monitor lmao
well first would be telling people what you got rn
Woop, lemme clean that, we already talked about it on #🔌│tech message
any good headset for around 100usd?
Headset with mic attachmened, audiofile headset, iems, what we looking for In terms of headset
tbh iems or a headset with mic prob a headset with mic tho i havent tried iems before
you can get a pretty good iem+standalone mic combo for around 100
truthear x crinicle zero:blue2 + fifine am8
how is iems tho i have never tried them i currently have a razer blackshark v2x
i personally prefer them over headphones
i hate headbands and how warm my ears get with headphones
im used to using airpods or a long time so i dont mind something going inside the ear
i hate that it cooks the hair haha but i was more like thinking how the sound is is it bad decent or good?
oh, for the price those are pretty good, of course you can go higher over time and develop what sound signature you prefer
with those u recommend can u hear footsteps and things clearly tho? cause rn i cant hear things ngl
i would say theyre clear enough
hmm what should the price be for them tho so ik im not overpaying
around 65ish
ye 68usd here
The moondrop rays aren't terrible for the price based on everyone's reviews, I don't believe they've released yet if your looking for iems though
and what about the mic?
im currently using that mic
hmm tbh i have no clue bro i never tried iems but i would like to try em
how much u paid for it?
Oh yeah if you've never used them, go with the blue 2's
i bought it with the mic arm so im not sure how much it is on its own but it should be around 55-70?
I'd try something intro if you've never had any before
Moondrop chu 2 maybe?
You might hate the feeling of iems, dunno
I mean you could do the truthear gate if you want something dirt cheap to experience iems
I personally prefer chu over the gate myself, hence my mention :p
hmm i need something decent thats better then my headset but idk about iems i got 0 clue
Oh yeah I've never tried the chu, I've used my buddies gates before
I mean, chu 2 pays for itself with the cable alone imo
I use chu 2 for gaming still
hmm i could try that
with an mic but again i got noclue about mics aswell i would like to have a mic thats not on the desk maybe above the monitor
Idk I just hung a yeti on a random arm myself
ye thats nice
If you have a Best buy near you check their open deals because usually they can have some pretty good stuff I don't know if that would include Mic arm or not
The arm was maybe 10 bucks and the connector bit was 7
ye im from denmark so no best buy haha
The mic was unfortunately stolen from my husband, so idk how much that is
But arm + universal connector is cheap on aliexpress
maybe something like these by Apos or similar. Sub $85 but they're still working on improving the mic afaik. And it comes with a built-in neck beard
What is your budget in DKK
600dkk
Ye idk
Oooo they released a green version of the astrals
is a razer deathadder v3 pro still good to get? ive been looking for new mice and was wondering if i should get something else instead
theres a v4 now but im not sure what the difference is
need
this isnt even one of the chinese zodiac animals
rat, ox, tiger, rabbit, dragon, snake, horse, goat, monkey, rooster, dog, and pig
the superstrike is called gpw5 snow leopard in china
whats with the gpw5 naming
starting from the first, like the dex was gpw4
o
but snow leopard peak
arctic fox even more peak
it dont look real 😭
too cute for earth type shi
Whats some good iems to buy and a mic aswell for 100usd?
Idk how good the mic is, but zero blue 2 has a cable with a mic
If you want a standalone mic for cheap, fifine prob the way to go
makes more sense when you translate it to chinese
I cant find any tests on the mic
it's a $5 add on mic, it's just gonna be usable
Damn is it the best iems for the price tho?
take your pick of the red/blue2, and the pure/hexa
Hexa better then red or blue2? Im completely new to iems
pure/hexa are priced a bit higher
Subjective
Me on saturdays
Optical scroll wheel
honestly my dude, spend 20 bucks on a cheap pair of iems just so you know if you like them or not, then just save up a bit more and buy a nicer set/ mic
if you shop on amazon you could just get nice ones and return them if you don’t like them
Any of them could be your favourite, brormand. No way to know without trying though. They're all fairly solid and will not sound weird even though they don't sound identical
i have it
its alright
both the fifine and mic'd zero blue2s
the latter is more usuable unless you are using a clamped boom arm (with the fifine)
the latter? I don't use a boom arm for my iems
latter means the 2nd thing
@zenith heron probably better to do it here; gpu size compatibility as per config:
Classic Config: 359mm long, 148mm tall, 4-Slots
Flipped Config: 359mm long, 148mm tall, 4-Slots
VGPU Config: 359mm long, 175mm tall, 4-Slots
in this case the mic on the zero blues 2
boom arm is needed for fifine
not the iem
thus i would use the iems mic if ur not getting the boom arm and fifine together
is what i mean with this
mb for the confusion
Ohh I see
For the level 7 build, since I'm using a 280 mm AIO, how many fans do you think I'll need?
I don't plan to change the stock fans on the radiator since they seem to do their job just fine
na mb for misunderstanding
at least one 240/280mm intake from the bottom, and it looks like you can have one more on the side: https://ncased.com/blogs/m2-builds/m2-build-level7
The goal of this build is to provide guidance on component compatibility. The component choices are not optimized for performance, thermals, or budget. Notice: Small Form Factor PC builds are typically more challenging compared to standard PC builds, requiring greater attention to detail and advanced assembly skills. T
Because so far my PC components are:
RX 7800 XT
Ryzen 7 7800X3D
Gigabyte B650I Aorus Ultra
G.Skill Flare X5
Samsung 990 Pro
Arctic Liquid Freezer III 280
Corsair SF750
So two? I'm honestly kinda annoyed how they didn't specify how many fans you'll need for the level 7 build and from the picture I can only see one fan which is like behind the GPU
yeah their manuals are so bad, so much has been left out. I use only 1 intake on the bottom for a 9800x3d and 9070xt. No issues with thermals, so your setup should be fine if you only want 1 intake fan
So just one Noctua fan is enough?
And uh, does the fan squeezed behind the GPU on top actually works?
maybe for a massive -1c, hard to tell without testing it, but I doubt it's worth having one there
Well, how about the radiator of the AIO? Do I install it on the bottom or on the side panel?
Hard to tell from the picture
up to you, either way is fine
By the looks of it I think it goes by the side panel since the case comes with these radiator brackets...?
Wait, you can actually install them on top or bottom too
Wait I'm a bit confused
Do I need this bracket for installing fans on the bottom or is this bracket only for the side panels?
@viscid bison
Sorry for the ping
Like is this bracket mandatory in order to install fans or a radiator on either the side panels or bottom
that's an optional bracket for side-mounted aio. If you didn't order it, try aio up top and gpu at the bottom. The only problem with this config, is that the included feet are so small. And barely raises the case to allow more air coming from the bottom

Does he have any or is it clickbait
Oh right, I have heard of that issue. I'm kinda confused why they made the feet so tiny

Also, the flatpack case seems to include 1 pc of those radiator brackets
I don't have to order it separately
I had to buy these feet which were made for speakers lol, not mine but similar enough https://media.discordapp.net/attachments/167181566978555904/1450362483108741326/Screenshot_2025-12-16_163533.png?ex=69857f52&is=69842dd2&hm=62d9ca7ba44d7ac66f7eb0189624dec4afbb10924150d906cc3e871a3101630b&=&format=webp&quality=lossless&width=582&height=672
Ohh I see. Do you think the case feet NCASE is selling is good enough or are they just replacements?
woah the usb port is back in stock on their website
first time I've seen it in stock
the included bracket only works when the aio is mounted up top, side mounting only allows for fans to be mounted as intakes. Confusing af lol: https://ncased.com/pages/manual-m2-20246
you can 3d print your own feet but the included ones are so sad. It really cheapens the case imo
oh and don't freak out when you see the side panels with a concave, their designed that way to prevent rattling; which I think is kinda goofy lol
that aio orientation is very stupid
it's a stupid case imo and one I would never recommend, not at its price point and build quality
Wait really? It's concaved instead of completely flat?
it's a slight bend but once it's fitted you'd never know it existed
I'm still learning so sorry if this is a stupid question but both the GPU and PSU fans are intake right? How about the AIO? Are the fans on the radiator set to intake or exhaust?
Ohh I see
gpu and psu are intake and pretty sure aio is exhaust, at least mine is with top mounting
I feel like I'll just need to experiment with the build
I'll try doing a side mounted AIO with two 140 mm Noctua fans at the bottom and vice versa and check the temps
aio is intake when it's sidemounted
I can definitely install two 140 mm fans on the fan bracket on the side panel with an AIO right?
Since compared to a tower CPU cooler you don't have enough space for a 2nd fan?
Also, does this really help? I saw Optimum add two fans on top of the GPU fans and isn't that just a waste of fans?

it'd help with powerful gpu's, and Optimum loves beef
side-mounting 140mm fans is meant for air cooler afaik
Nvm, in the video the GPU is on top of the case and the two fans are at the bottom set to exhaust I think? And for the side mount he adds one more fan set to exhaust

Oh not for AIOs then?
Oh wait no, I'm dumb
Obviously you side mount the AIO
there's quite a few M2 builds on Youtube that would probably makes things a lot clearer. Don't sweat it too much though, it's fairly easy to build in
I'll check them out. I just wished NCASE themselves made a tutorial and not just level 9

@viscid bison oh, I just found this video
Sit back, relax, and enjoy the soothing vibes of this NCASE M2 build! No talking, just ambient music as I put together a clean small form factor setup featuring the RTX 4080 Super FE, Arctic Liquid Freezer III, and Phanteks T-30 fans. If you’re into SFF PCs or just need some chill tech content, don’t forget to like, comment, and subscribe fo...
For level 7
I skipped most of the video and wanted to see how he does the AIO and fans
perfect, his videos are pretty good for sff builds imo
He side mounted the AIO and then I think he has two fans underneath...? He didn't show it properly lol
First one is the side mounted AIO and the second pic looks like he installed two fans underneath?
Really?
so I was wrong, the included bracket does work side-mounting the aio and not just for top mount. So that's good, obviously
two fans at the bottom for sure and yeah, he kinda teleported that part but you can't miss it lol
There is some burn in but not noticeable in any normal usage
I think it works for top, bottom and side panels, just not front and rear obviously
Yeah but I just wanted to make sure

yeea, I think you're pretty much set. Just take your time and definitely get better feet for the case. I also went with custom length cables but not necessary, just makes building easier and looks neater
upgraded my amp and got the free engraving
My monitor this morning said: I'm fed up. And all I could see were stripes. So I bought a Gigabyte AORUS F032U2. For just over €660.
inb4 its the gpu
think positively, it means that he can justify getting a new GPU
idk why but that engraving made me think of the no fear of time cover
do u guys use the wooting stock usb cable or do u use a coiled or 8k split?
you can use the cable it comes with, different cables are purely just for aesthetics
What on earth is an "8k split"?
Got myself the 1600W Thor 3, no way I would pay retail price but on sale why not, I have nowhere to put it so just gonna sit in the box for now.

Aha.
which will burn in lol
Mega overkill, even for 9950X3D + 5090 setup but it looks cool and it was a good deal.
Like my 2 previous monitors then 🙂
was it more than 120eur
i have proof its not bad but still
400, normal price is 800.
i mean the thor series is not that badly priced considering you get decent cablemod cables etc
This one matches my color scheme!
It's silver/black
i just needed a psu and the thor 850 was on sale
im happy with it , its made by seasonic so
Sounds like it still wasnt worth it😭
Bro got sucked in by the 50% off
It was a return unit but unused
Cheapest it has ever been on a regular sale is 670 euro
a seasonic costs about the same so imo a good deal
Regular Seasonic 1600W is 500 so yeah, and that's a 3.0 model not 3.1 so doesn't have the new cable.
The Seasonic Noctua is 600, that's the model I orginally wanted but it is what it is, I'd rather pay 200 less for this one.
Anyone going to get the Logitech X2 Superstrike or whatever its called
I like my superlight 2, so I went and pre-ordered it because of the fun paint job
Mark your calendar. Pre-orders for the Razer Boomslang 20th Anniversary Edition begin February 10 at 8AM PT.

a 20 year old mouse for gamers by gamers
Erik made an UwU box like this for himself a while back.
Did he? That's actually kind of sick lol
preordered it
awesome, was gonna get it but decided on wooting v2 instead
let me know how it feels when u get it!
will
probably share my thoughts here
bro having one split spacebar on enter is evil for discord
your keybinds will looks schizo as hell with jump on enter
what do yall use for like fps games

Ah yeah, fake plastic leather buttons, so not only your fingers sweat like crazy, but also it will peel from sweat after several weeks
100% pu leather and skin dont mix
I was debating on it but I think my desk would cause it you have false inputs, because it's basically a he mouse right?
fck that, I'm not assembling the mouse every time I want to use it. Still want one though
when you're deprived of any original ideas: go anime
whats wrong with wuwa
they already did a collab with hsr
I have 6 of the original remakes they made that is made out of metal, it sucks so bad.
One is opened rest is sealed, they were 3 euro each and not worth 3 euro it is the worst ergonomic design of all time.
I'm buying the 1200 watt Be Quiet! Dark Power 14 for mine
I did look at that one, it's like 350, I've just had bad experiences with them in the past where 3 of the same PSU broken in like 2 years.
PC would just randomly shut down during load, 2nd one killed my 2nd GTX 670 as well.
NZXT C1500 was also on the table.
anime belongs on the big screen... and classic Porsche only
surprised that rwb doesnt have a name
Why is there such a big crossover between anime and earbuds?
Any why are earbuds so popular in countries like Singapore, China etc.
the Astro boy x Rwb x Porsche collab?
yeah most are named as in the name is on the side, like rotana, shingen, akiba, or pandora 1 and 2
yoo im searching for iems never tried them before i got told zero blue 2 are decent but are there some others to keep in mind aswell around that price range
most likely its just called astro boy tbh
asian market go heavy on gacha dont ask me why
Zero blue 2 man, or moondrop chu 2, you aren't going to get much better than that for introductory iems
Or in general
alright ima try to get them
razer viper v3 pro or deathadder v3 🧐
Should be VV3 pro vs DAV4
But to answer your question, it’s going to be dependent on your hand size
i guess yeah but its the price thats stopping me from getting the v4
alright thanks 🙏
amzn warehouse has one for a bit less
They retail for pretty much the same but you’ll just get more discounts since Viper is older
hopefully the used aint shit 😭
Between the V3s I’d go for viper (DAV3 clicks are muddy/okay compared to modern releases), viper is crisper, but if you have larger hands I’d go V4
here are the prices i found rq:
viper - 100-120 (depends on polling)
v3 -100
v4-130 (refurbished)
ngl im the opposite of an expert at this
i have a dav3p and vv3p, more comfortable on the viper with my 19.5cm hands
dave a bit too big for longer sessions
I’d go viper v3 and call it a day if you just want a solid performer for a decent price
I wouldn’t buy a 4 year old mouse in big 26 tho
Will be a more versatile choice unless you need ergo for larger hands
what would u consider large hands
20cm plus
I need my paycheck to go in so I can buy something
I don't know what yet
But I need something
my gambling addiction
food
okay..
"lumen died on February 5th of severe starvation and no one ever knew"
plane ticket to russia to fight a bear
I'm debating on some 490's, but I need to wait for the sketchy Chinese eartips to get here so I can decide if I like iems or not lol
I like the way you think
its what i do
Anybody who has experience with glass mousepads?
Im considering buying one
Just bought iems and keyboard
What will this do to me?
bear powers
Rtings did headphone distortion listening tests
Yay
they still making earbuds?
Looking at the XM5 it's too muddy for me but otherwise looks good
REALLY? YAY SOMETHING NEW FOR ME TO BUY
Yes it's on the same generation as the WH over-ear line
When they dropping new iem
WH-XM6 seems to have been a decent improvement over 5 so maybe WF-XM6 will be too
I've owned the last three generations of their earbuds lol
Im never buying earbuds again lol
i just looked at my registered samsung products, and like 80% of it are earbuds that ive lost
Lmaooo
are the new ones more trackable
I've never lost my earbuds but it was hard to find the samsung ones if you left them in the case or just left the case somewhere
airpods are so easy to track down, both as earbuds and the case on its own
I usually keep mine tied to my pocket though
I'm still looking into the new monitor. There are so many different opinions. My head is starting to spin. If you see a plume of smoke over Dortmund: it's NOT a volcanic eruption. It's my head.

just go thru rtings lists and pick one near the top
I just got the cheapest one I could find with the specs I wanted
I wish I could get that one almost square lg monitor but I don't think they sell them anymore 😭
What do people recommend over sony inzone h9 2s for headsets?
I dont want openback due to gaming in the same room as my gf. So noise cancelling is nice, not mandatory, also cba with a seperate mic
what are some mousepads yall wld recommend
If anyone's using Pulsar Crazylight series mice, they released new firmware which fixes the DPI downshift and some other sensor bugs so update your mouse firmware
Downloading it rn
sp005
ty for this
I don't think I have an available fw update unless it's beta only
You need to download beta from their site
well such good timing to check a different channel other than keyboard modding
and i now then remember how much i hate trying to download this bs
It's not that bad. Download beta update tool and update dongle, then mouse
beta update tool?
oh i need to download the whole software since i wiped my pc the other week

yeah, choose X2 > X2 Crazylight mini > Firmware and download beta
you don't need to download software, there's web software
ok i finished updating
THERE IS?
yea
all this time
what's your firmware versions? should be 4.07 and 4.00

2k most of the time, battery life is horrible with 4k
yea it has tiny battery
that's true..
He’s using a new 16k polling rate alpha since he saved all of pulsar

woah what the hell Mouse rotation calibration
turbo mode??
is this part of the new update or some shi
previous firmware I think
kills battery, not worth it
yea
that's it I think
aight thanks shafie
i have still yet to get new skates
and i forgot which ones to get
i lost my list with the pc wipe
cyclone pros
They have a Micro Bungee ES that seemed really interesting
how interesting
they're good, it has poron layer so less noise and glide is smoother
It's low profile, attaches to bottom of the monitor, quite nice and modern, rotates aswell.
Probably gonna upgrade my on desk one to that next month.
eeee bet
i got wallhack's silent ptfe
they aint that great
is it like a balanced skate in term of speed?
i'dlike something balanced to fast

these wh silent ptfe eating itself up too quick, scratchy, not so silent for me
yea
@abstract warren did you receive your burple beast yet ?
I’ve had my max for a while why
just gonna ask how you like it
next mouse i get i gotta use that 15% discount code 🔥
anyone familiar with the annepro 2?
@quasi field looks like sharur is cooking up a new target curve
its a work in progress target curve but it looks to be doing very well
basically what they did is that they revamped the personalized EQ listening test and then just took the top 50 results with the lowest standard deviations and then aggregated them together to make the new target curve
its interesting
I'll try it later
How similar is it to PEQdB Ultra
not sure because the exact squig is not published yet (like I said the target is still a work in progress) but if I were to guess its probably not too far off.
not that guy...
I wouldnt be surprised if they refine it again in like a week lmao
he has a horrible personality and has almost zero humility but he is at least competent and smart and actually knows what he actually talking about
tbh average college student behavior lmao
is he still reviewing iems by eqing his current to them
Not like making a perfect for everyone target is possible. Refinement has to stop somewhere
This is technically valid if done correctly which he didn't
cant forget the moondrop variations is terrible to best iem ever to terrible (and so on) saga
that was fun
Månedropp variasjonar var dei beste øyrepluggane eg åtte
I rather use jm 1
The only thing i need to eq from jm1 is to straighten the treble
Peqdb ultra is too much on both part (bass and treble) for me
interesting
I have not tried it for in-ears
We'll see how it is after it's done I guess. Though i be skeptical cause benchmark like this ruins AI, wouldn't be surprised if it's the case here too.
There's a new RME ADI dac/amp coming next month, a successor to the ADI-2 FS which was easily the best dac/amp for functionality
Whats with the kiwi ears astral glaze? Are they all that
they cost almost the same as blessing 3
id say so
compared to what
ive been loving it since i got them back in nov
recently came back from vacation to them and its like experiencing it for the first time again
thats wild
Only issue with iems is that the aria were so bad I got a negative bias now
well as of recent, ive been using airpods pro gen1s for a month and started using astrals again 3 weeks ago
i cant really put into words about how its better since im not really that big on audio
i like how much punchier it is compared to what i had before (crinicle zero:red)
I see
the overall tuning is similar from what i remember which is what i enjoyed
hows imaging in competitive games?
well that kinda depends on the game
if its valorant, directional audio and footstep material is pretty clear imo
if its apex, good fucking luck cause the audio is booty in that game
right I guess that depends on the game now
might get them at some point, I want a brigther sound than what the fiio ft1s have
I just hope i wont have that uneven ear pressure problem that the arias had
can always get different size tips tho good ones are usually expensive
id buy it off amazon if they go for around 250 which shouldnt be too hard to come by
For good imaging you want a good balanced frequency response. That's all. So it should be pretty good at it
Hi everyone, just after some recommendations or help on some audio related things im struggling on. Im planning on buying Kiwi Ears Aether and Fifine AM8, im also planning on buying an XLR for the Fifine as well.
Now, im unsure of what DAC/AMP I should be purchasing. I dont even know how to adjust EQs but I would like to learn how to since i will be playing games like Fortnite and Valorant so I would need to adjust accordingly for best sound hearing.
What are some dac/amps recommendations? Kiwi ears aether are $299 AUD and the Fifine is like around 80ish? So my budget for the dac amp would probably be around 150-200 aud
I was considering the Kiwi Ears Astral - however the only online store i found selling it does not accept afterpay. They do accept PayPals pay in 4, but i cannot find my max limit so im worried that the price of the kiwi ears astral (usually around $400+ AUD) will be too expensive for me to go through PayPal.
I am also open to other microphone recommendations for around the budget of 200 AUD max? Primary use is for gaming, it wont be used too often as I tend to mic up once or twice a week.
motherboard/laptop's 3.5mm jack should do fine, it doesn't take much to drive an IEM.
Just to confirm is that on the physical motherboard or is the one on the pc case just as fine?
Stupid question i know but my pc knowledge has dwindled aha
either as long as it's aux/line out.
Yeah thats fine. Ive got some budget iems so ive always plugged it into the pc
They dont feel that nice to wear tho so hoping a mid range iems can fix that
that's more on the shape rather than build quality/material
Ah i see. I have to wear glasses. Sometimes it feels like the iem around my left ear and the glasses have to fight each other to sit right constantly
But yeah, if i dont need a dac amp thats money being saved
How about for the microphone?
microphone seems fine
I was considering the hyperx solocast2 earlier, but idk. Im worried it might pick up a lot of background noise
Just go with the fifine, I use fifine myself and it has been going strong for like 3-4 years now
Sweet - ty for your help
Sorry just a quick follow up - would you recommend an xlr cable for the fifine mic? Which microphone are you using at the moment
if the mic has usb and xlr the usb is fine
if you go xlr you’ll have to spend like ~$100 on an interface and you probably won’t notice a difference
there’s probably people who have done comparisons
k683 iirc. I just use the USB, it's the most convenient
No real reason to explicitly aim for XLR mics just for Discord and such imo
Ok, noted. Thank you for your help
is this one worth buying or are there better alternatives?
in case anyone even knows lol
im getting myself lian li fans and an aio
i was just wondering if there would be a better option for price/quality
for aios this one was one of the best i think
alright thank you!
In what world would you possibly need the godlike edition for lol
I like your taste Good Sir.
Lol the overally out of this world pc build world
And ofcourse the bravery of the PSU choice!
Im probably the first to even put liquid metal on that motherboard
Yea i mostly only buy evga gold rated or platinum psu
Need a next 1600 watt
Insane price for a motherboard. What does one even get out of it
oh damn, dual PC
Compared to something like a Carbon which is still high end
Yea but stuff like the carbon isnt collectors item
Not to mention more memory slots and better VRM cooler
Yea
I respect the collector notion, i do it myself so i can relate.
But don't be too surprised not many others can.
Yea i know
Some of this EVGA gear will be antiquity soon.
That mobo cost as much as my monthly income
1100 dollar mobo lol
Tbh ddr5 is already a collectors item
Like holding pokemon cards
You'd need like 4 sticks of 48gb to even take full advantage of that board lmao
Not even that
You need 2 GPUs or more
The problem is, you are taking more than full advantage of the IMC at that point too 🥴
Or just to have a MangoHE switch
Aesthetically, 4 Royals do be looking better than 2 however
This one knows ball
One set of 96 would be the same price as that board lmaooo
B850 and carry on

I'm in the process of going from SFF to regular size
it's coot
Soria you need to die
Like instant agonizing death
It would be better looking without the wood in that color, kinda clashes
In game, he means in game
the case color would match my kb though
Why you kick me
Single stick of 16gb with everything is 700ish euro
The only real case:
Yeah but hungarian retail is ass to begin with, not the best or most accurate presentation of global prices
You need SG13P
Let's see what my ram is worth now lol
But i would spare soo little euro if i would get it from Germany soo whats the point ?
Thats where you are wrong ^^

no
What I bought it for and what it's at now
Lol regular godlike is 1.1k x edition is 1.3k
Is it really lmao
we all buying the mcprue Apollo X
I bought it for a 1/4 of the price
What is that?
Yes
My ram went from $660 to $1875
48 gb CL26 cant even find it retailers except just Ebay
Decent value increase
It's the bestest
But i suspect it's in use
Not a whole lot of innovation lately, just fish tank #937246574
It looks fine to me. Doesn't command any attention
On a balcony, slavic way
Soo even with other parts i would save around 15k HUF LMAO
Sure, in this specific case.
It's much more if you compare other hardware and in normal circumstances. Also adds up.
But if you can't even value 15k, theres not much to say.
I've been doing it for years, i wouldn't mention it if there was no point to it, i don't like to waste my time.
Okay sure saving 15k huf is huge at this point but still overall not that much
This a the only real case lol
9000D?
Way too many fans that probably only have a 0,05 degree benefit
yeah ik
its nice because its spacious inside
makes doing custom loops super easy
only issue is that its big
I would pick this Thermaltake case
U dont need to use all 32 fans capability lol u not need to run push and pull config
Big aint a issue lol small is
2 front intake fans + 1 exhaust
Yep, it's gaming time
desk space
Man that case doesnt need to be on a diet
Yes
Eh i never place my pc on the desk lol. Even if it was mid tower . Rather build a little stand on the ground
I rather thermaltake view 71 tb
Ohh really?
(Tbh
I prefer it on the desk at all times
Fair
real pc
Nah think is with my 6'7 self my arms are really long so just annoys me having space taken up for something that can go on the ground
I rather use the andruino controller on my drone as a pc than be seen using that
Can't say i tried with arms like that, but maybe thats fair.
FOr me i would rather get a bigger desk than ever putting PCs on the floor again.
Im building a custom desk too
Bery nice
But still wouldnt put it
cant wait for the day we get 5090 performance in mac studio size
78 x38
Can't say i understand it fully, but respectable ^^
It's perfect
If everything goes well i'll have a 200 x 80 standing desk later this year
i can always trust in you
Lol im american so 78x38 in inches
these pink names dont know shit
This 140 x 75 currently fits the PC case on the right edge, while i have ample space for everything else on it aswell.
The reason for the width increase will be to not having to use separate thingies for the router/Ont device and spacing out everything slightly more.
Lol why would i get something thats the size of a mac studio with 5090 power when by then there will be something better ?
Ahhh i see
Yeah that was clear, mine is in millimeters
It's more dominant here when measuring these
there will be a point where its enough
1981 X 965 in militmeters lol
I was saying 200 inches is huge lol
Not bad, thats plenty
lowkey need a smaller desk
Not for someone like me lol
Even for a big dude, that should fit everything spaciously
Yea
I'm kinda taking full advantage of this wall space in my new home, so i don't have to do L extensions and separate desks and trolleys and sh1t
Technically the 180 x 80 could be enough
Putting some nice desky seat stand legs and 9 power outputs
I never did L extension
Thats the only way a pc will be on a table for me
I never liked it, it's always wasted space in corners
🤣
gotta put two steel beams into the wall and a piece of wood on top
so you dont need legs
BUt i do have a small extra desk on my left right now, except pulled out from the corner
cause the space i don't have i needed to do something with
Nah i need legs lol
Blue guys dont no anything lol
dont yes
They just make cookie cutter builds
What do you mean with the legs?
Ohh i didn't read what he said, just what you said
okay
well no, fck that. Not ruining these walls, desks with their own frame will be it.
Good luck fimding a stud here
To be precise, one desk ^^
My updated build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/p93sck

Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, GeForce RTX 5080, Fractal Design Define 7 ATX Mid Tower
Build goal: complete silence
I already have several of the parts there from my current build. So this is not a list of things I'm going to buy
Time for passive cooling
makes me want to make my pc silent too (with a new case). Planning to make it constantly running so that I can remote it through my macbook
I know the 9800X3D is rated as being possible to run with the passive Noctua cooler on their website but I'm unsure if that would work in my case. And frankly I don't need the build to be passive, I'll just run fans slow enough to be inaudible
you can get close to silent easily with normal cooling anyway
I can probably run the Noctua fans at at least 30% speed while still being inaudible in the build
noctua gpu
I always configure them to stay at the exact same speed regardless of temperature
same
I hate listening to fans ramp up
Noctua GPU
Mobo more expensive than CPU
yep expensive ahh mobo
CPU is more expensive. Prices on pcpartpicker are just uselsss nonsense for any non-American builder

Eh its 2026 we still going with intel cpus

fr, actually wish I got US prices in South East Asia, alas I have to dely on personal research in this region
at least I can get 5700x3d for $200 though, still going strong naow
I'm going with whatever is better at the time when i'm building, wether it's Intel or AMD don't matter.
It's the one I want because I want MSI bios (Mostly because I hear the most good things about it) + at least 3 NVME slots + good looks (this is the hardest one) and so that board is what I ended up with
True but for the longest AMD has held that crown
hmm good looks
Not that long
ye my pc just under the desk so
Also subjective
And dont forget longer support
It looks good to me
looks normal ig
Best would be one of those motherboards where the plugs are on the backside but you need a specialised case for that afaik
I really brought the godlike also because i like the dragon
Its just something about msi boards
And i agree the start up screen and bios is the icy too

i think my case supports it but the amount of mobos that have it is small
and paying premium for that
idk
I like the boards which dont explode your 9800x3d
Same, so no Assrock
even the asrock rates are realistically low af
You get a GPU with it?
Bery nice, although i do prefer 2 dimmers myself
Asrock always been low end shit
Having happened to me once is an instant disqualify
nahh
thats cope
its been high end shit for low end prices
AssC0ck*
I'm still using the very motherboard that killed my CPU lol
last gen asrock was great
No one makes such fire boards though
It comes with a M.2 expansion slot lol not gpu
jayztwocents is just completely over estimating the numbers from what I read
Nah its low end
?
This looks hard to integrate
With what components?
Show me a board made my asrock that people actually think its worth it
Oh also another important thing is error LEDs. Not having that gave me pains last time
asrock nova
I just dont think they compare to msi
better specs than 90% of the market
ok so u dont actually know what ur talking about xD
u just brand slaving
who bringing up msi 😭
if u look at the hardware implementation of all boards asrock gives high end performance for low prices
@exotic bough a few years back i really enjoyed the looks of this and wanted to put it in a build, but was pretty hard to procure here in EU, but i ended up with the Dark instead, i still use it today.
Idk i rather a aorus
Its not brand slaving . Lol i care about power phrases, VRM cooling, ports
And also pcie thickness
*pcb
the things asrock is good at?
then you should know asrock offers the highest amount of VRMs if u dont look at godlikes
he must be ragebaiting
Nah
I just dont pay them much attention but then again my first mb was a asrock from cyberpower
Idk what YOU are doing if he is ragebaiting, AssC0ck is really a suboptimal choice right now, even if some of your points make sense in the case of some of their boards and components.
Isn't that the thing that doesn't really matter?
It doesn't matter at all
finding a board that has problems cooling vrm on amd cpu is actually pretty hard
Thats more brandslaving in itself
Not to normal pc users lol but i delid cpus and liquid metal everything as possible lol so i pay extra if the vrm cooling is better than normal
You need to pull like 400W to CPU to start having problems with VRMs
If u are just puttingna fan cooler or Aio it dont really matter
i mean if you delid you can worry less
??
yep so with good cooling the vrms can chill more
Yep
Do you also OC Thunder?
Yea
we water cooling ram lowkey
casual or a bit more serious?
More serious
i see
Yep doing that too
Just was wondering cause i didn't see you around before, but there are quite a big gap between some servers and OC circles. No worries.
Or you prefer to stay private about it, quite alot of peeps never post or show anything about their endevours.

i've been saved from zipping
