Then get 1440p
gonna stick to 1440p
I like my monitor but it does look pixely
1080p?
especially text but it might be a bit worse because of the fringing too
Or 720p?
27” 1440p
How is it pixelly then unless you have some insane zoomed in 20/20 eyeballs
most people are 20/20
20/20 is average vision
maybe I sit a bit closer than most but I don’t think I’m super close
The final PC parts are out for delivery

Intercepting it, im hungry
QD-OLED < 4th gen WOLED < RGB Stripe < Tandem OLED
@obtuse dove do you have the 11" or 13" iPad Pro?
13 inch iPad Pro
M4
Did you also buy the Apple Pencil and/or keyboard cover thing?
Apple Pencil and just a standard folio bumper case from Amazon
No keyboard case since I have a MacBook for that LMAO
Give me RGB stripe tandem sure
But I don't want the woled tandems
Tandem WOLED is already sufficient in my opinion? esp since they already use a striped sub pixel layout?
The white subpixel is why I don't want it
why is that an issue?
Still inferior rendering, and the white subpixel boosting dilutes the colours
I guess, but that is more or less been solved with the 4th gen Tandem WOLEDs
since they boosted the color volume significantly of the base white pixels and improving brightness by not using a MLA
I am curious to see how they will comabt burn-in on the RGB stripe OLEDs
since the wacky sub-pixel layouts of traditional RGB OLEDs is to combat the affects of burn-in
Probably another 2 years out from comparable rgb stripe oled
It shouldn't matter outside of HDR I don't think. Unless I'm mistaken I remember that the LG C2 I had didn't use the white subpixel to boost brightness beyond a certain threshold. So below a certain brightness it won't make a difference afaik
I'm in the waiting room for the LG G series TVs to run at 4K 240Hz with full bandwidth HDMI 2.2
But I might misremember
Soon™
I have zero regrets with my monitor though. will main it for at least 5+ years I think
At some point we’re going to hit 1000hz oled 1440p and then maybe it’ll be time to upgrade again
it does matter outside of HDR but assuming they somehow solved the blue subpixel brightness issue then I can see RGB stripe becoming a thing
because if you make the blue sub-pixel smaller you need to drive it harder and brighter which would cause it to burn in faster than the red and green OLEDs
My story gamer ass waiting for high(er) refresh rate TVs. Need that big screen gaming experience. The G5 does 4K 165Hz in PC mode though which is pretty cool.
We need crOLEDs, crunchy oleds
G5 is very sexy as someone who uses one

woled feels like such a bandaid technology
But QD also has unfortunate flaws atm
My friend has the 65” G5 + full Sonos Arc Ultra setup. I am very jealous.
Honestly my trigger was my old monitor wasn’t accurate enough in srgb mode so I had to buy a new monitor for editing anyway
And I always subscribe to buy once cry once, so the 540hz it is
How good is that sound?
It has made me jump back into fps games again though because motion clarity is pretty nuts in comp fps
I think the TV speakers are decent
Very darn good. Even the Arc Ultra alone is a solid option.
Might look into it
The Sub 4 is completely overkill for a lot of setups.
A pair of Era 300 speakers for rear surround is nice though.
Gonna have to wait a while before i buy any more upgrades though lmao
Tv is gonna last me a loooong while though
I do wish webOS wasn’t littered with adverts.
Easier to just use an Apple TV for tvOS.
IMHO
Yeah, i kinda keep mine off the wifi, i use my series x for my media anyway
I connect mine for firmware updates. Recently gotten webOS 25 on my C2.
Android box
You can install YouTube with no ads, peak
I never found one that didn't stutter every time you scroll though
tvOS for ecosystem magic
Trueee, pairs with my AirPods without me even having to do anything
I'm can just jump straight into it
And then when I get a call it shows up on the TV screen, I pick up my phone, and my AirPods automatically hand off connection to my phone
It's actually so nice
And it automatically pauses my movie
Although I did unplug mine a few weeks back to use my 4K BR player. Not enough plugs… or HDMI cables connected.
That’s the only time i connect it
Fits stay updated
It's a TV
I can understand PC-phone, but it's just a TV, start a movie with remote and done
Lack of ads is best for me
You don't need Apple ecosystem to launch Netflix app
But I do

Anybody know some good mousepads? My mousepad now is too rough and gritty for my mouse so I’m looking for something smooth
Yeah, wholeheartedly recommend Artisan
Artisan Raiden, silky smooth and fast
Ty 🫡
Ty 🫡
Artisan pads
look into the different types
pick the one that you would like most
don't get a hien if you want smooth
Okay
Not all Artisan mousepads are smooth, this might help you.
The skates on the x2 crazy light just suck on control pads
Thank you very much
x2 CL skates suck in general, swap them out
yeah swap them out for dots
Which would u recommend
4 dots is plenty for the X2CL
Nah, get full size Jade/Magic Ice/Tiger Ice skates
I don't like dots on cloth personally
I like it
Ty
Me personally I like full skates as well
But just me personally
corepad is also good
Full skates always feel better on cloth for me
artisan dots work but regular 6.5mm dots are not nice on cloth, fullsize skates are nice
or those crazy donut skates
Key 83 Soft
like the X-Raypad donuts
yeah donuts could be better than dots
but both donuts and artisan p8 skates don't fit in all skate cutouts
These r skates right
should fit fine on the X2CL skate cutouts
Oh lmao Allg I still need recommendations on pads regardless
ki83 has a bit off a rough texture but it didn't bother me at all, not sure what you had before that had so much texture
Oh what I have right now?
That's the one i would recommend for a completely in the middle balance, if not, then Zero with MID firmness.
But you can also just individually read for each of these models and then their firmnesses, what they are for, and just choose the one that suits you most.
🫡
artisan doesnt have white mousepads?
No
damn
I went with the dead center option for first, but then i really liked what the Zero promises, and some friends reinforced me with it.
Just couldn't order the Zero yet cause they banned Buyee.
I would strongly advise against white mousepads, they become really ugly really quickly
If you don't mind speed pads, get Raiden soft. It's so smooth
ye thats the one im looking at the most
Other Artisan mousepads aren't as smooth
i was just asking because i have a full white setup
ah, honestly black or a bright red or orange would fit nicely in a white setup
Focus, M
ye im most likely just gonna go for a black one
the raiden should be good for valorant right
unless its a hard pad, if its a hard pad then white is ok, but cloth pads I would avoid white as much as possible
Some contrast doesn't hurt
ye aimma go with black fs
I have a mostly white PC, but there are some black components and the pad now
I'm just saying a black pad won't destroy that xD
ye it will look fine
Might be fast for Val, but you can get used to it
ye i was thinking that but ill get used to it
what i might do lowkey
is get new skates, if it still feeds weird with this mousepad i just get a new mousepad
Do you guys think wooting will make a 75% keyboard in the near future? Cuz I really want a 75 but i dont really know any good ones
80HE is literally a 75% board
sorry its 77.5% board
Its not tho but yeah
<@&1098943457654997093>
name
…
But honestly the 80he right side button placement for me atleast is pretty odd tbh
just one click and its there again twice 😭
its perfectly usable
Yee
😭
it is slightly weird, but not unusable
how much does this matter
buy a wooting
that more comes down to if you care about the features of Hall effect
bro this shipping is crazy
8 dollars for skates is fine then 30 dollars for shipping 💀
are you on firefox?
I usually get my skates from amazon or LGG in the states
yes
yeah you gotta download the app then
yea imma take a look on amazon rn
firefox will probably never be supported
FlexCord new batch up for preorder, yay
might hold off buying the audeze maxwells atm
dang 💔
I mean i dont really know if ill use them but i play cs2 mostly rn so idk 🤷
i mean its very lightweight tbh
and doesn t even run in the background
ye v2
what percentage of your usage is typing and what percentage is gaming?
Mostly 70 gaming
i mean ill probably donwload the app cuz then it would be just chrome or edge that ill use for wootility
Firefox won't work because they (Mozilla) are stubborn to not support WebHID
Despite putting eveything anyway to they borwsers nowadays
i'd get the wooting then
Shipping that soon and yet nothing is known about it?
I can't find any information about it
yeah and you can also update the keyboard firmware with the app too
i cant find any ful length skates on amazon
Anyone using jade dots on a artisan raiden?
for my mouse
I want to upgrade my setup but rn the big market of evrything confuses me allot. I recently ordered myself a ninjutso ten so yeah im trying to get a clean and greatly usable setup
Order them from AliExpress
if the app is just wootility and the led strip things then its not a problem
yeah a wooting is a very nice keyboard for gaming
apparently customers got a email from audeze
Thanks for the help
aye!
the app is just an exe and if you want you can download the background service from the settings tab which is needed if you want like real time volume update on the 80he led strip
i dont see any there as well
do you know if the app has digital signature or nah
probably does, idk tbh
@quasi field
if you wanna be sure download it from https://wooting.io/wootility
also #📰│wootility_updates
thanks
Magic Ice for X2 Crazylight should be available on Ali
xraypad sells skates on ali too, don't know why they wouldn't be on there
these the only ones i found
these r it im guessing right
Yes, that
So information on the day of shipping
Hoping there are review units sent out for measurement at least
ok thanks
pog
i guess they waiting until the embargo is lifted on the 5th, i am kinda curious what the price would be
If it's a sequel I'm expecting the same price or a very modest price increase of $50 or something
it kinda sucks in the EU we need to pay more 🙁
Imagine living in the EU

There are some issues they need to fix for 2 for it to interest me
for how much are the v1's going for rn in the US?
Sidetone is broken on Maxwell 1. It makes a bad static noise
$300 maybe. I don't know
dam thats reasonable
here they going for anywhere between 350 all the way up to 400+
so in dollars thats like $400 all the way up too $500+
im between the artisan raiden and the zero
or going with a xxl mousepad from the mousepad company or sumthing
Night and day diff, i came from 900x400 XXLs without caring much for the surface, but Artisans are absolutely quality in comparison.
Also getting used to the fact that i don't need to have such a big pad for no reason which only gets dirty but not used much has been nice.
Even Artisan XL is too big, like 60% of the surface edges i don't use. L should be big enough.
For the keyboard i just went with a keebmat, it's practical for sound and is limited to the size of the keyboard without having to take up extra space, lets me move it around if i need space quickly.
who here has a artisan zero
I have an xsoft zero
when u move ur mouse across the mousepad , do you feel the grit ?
or is it smooth
nah it's pretty smooth I'd say, the surface grabs sleeves a lot though
okay
icl i feel like what im feeling with mine is more of a skate issue than a mousepad issue
Soft ones are all pretty smooth for each model
but ty for that im leaning more towards the zero
yea i might go with the zero xsoft
Get soft
why not xsoft
to me zero feels smooth on my skates, not as much on my arm, but my other textured pads even in xsoft feel very textured on both
not like the surface goes away just because the pad is softer
I love xsoft but regular soft is probably the safest choice, closer to like a normal rubber base mousepad
xsoft is really plushy
mb im going off topic here but
would these work with the x2 crazylight medium?
ik it doesnt say x2 crazylight but it looks the exact same
ah nvm i see the middle looks different
nvm i found tiger ice v2 skates for the x2 cl on lethal.gg that get here in 2 days
Sadly i don't have much experience with 3rd party skates yet, so apart from the fact that using dots makes it easy to use for any mouse, can't really recommend anything.
ah
honestly, depending on if these skates fix the issue im having right now will make the decision wether i get a new mousepad or not
cuz im not tryna spend any extra money
need new mouse recommendations
r u asking for mouse recommendations or giving me some?
asking
what r u looking for?
like something small or medium
actually here
this website it shows u different mouse shapes
only mouse i can really recommend is the x2 crazylight
hmm neat, mainly need the backend of the mouse to be bigger ideally
like the hump being bigger?
yah
claw mainly
X2H Crazylight
Nah, if you want bigger hump, check X2H Crazylight. X2 is flat
green is gpro X purple is x2h
imo i find the humo on the x2 cl medium big
Ah medium, maybe
idk how the mini has a bigger hump than the medium 😭
Normal X2 CL is flat, but I like it
think ill cop the mini though because the hump difference is literally perfect
X2H Crazylight or which mini?
X2H crazylight mini
For work I got a superlight 2 SE for 50 euros
i like my gpro x but claw grip feels abysmal on it
recommendations for gaming mice? my beast x pro pmo
Is razer coming out with DeathAdder mini ? Or were those rumors all a lie
The rest of it is hereee
Coming together fr
what pc case did you pick
011 mini v2
im the only one who hates the Trident Z rams
WTF O:
At least it's not t force ram
To be fair you can strip any ugly heatspreaders and just point a fan at them, or get a full copper one and do the same and be better off
im just a RGB ram hater
but i hate the heatspreader look on the Trident's
best looking ram heatspreader
next to the Flare
RGB comes off too if you strip them
I used to like it, but for OC focus i'M getting the most basic spreaders now
I have mix feelings about it
All that matters are the ICs
im not an OC guy at all i don't know how to OC
You just turn the nozzle marked NoS counter clockwise and punch it
I dont like them either, they wanna look so expensive they kinda look cheap
heard the g502 is tuff gaming mice
Tuff to aim with
naw bruh trust its tuff
the best in The game
sora v2 or the lamzu maya. I use both(at the same time) - so all good g
we have a polish eSport player in this server who can confirm it
sora v2 is ass
it's all the same to me
fair
whos holding you against your will ?
Is there a mouse somewhere in this picture?
avert your eyes from the goon anime and you'll find it

it even has a scroll wheel
thoughts on compact potato bogitech pro x superlight 2c
No
HMMMM
other than the mids and bass being different, I might like this headphone
also only $200
getting replacement pads might be pain for this, skipping cause of that.
I ain't getting shark
did you check the distortion?
X2 Crazylight
no
woled monitor purchasing feels like a lottery
honestly if you're worried about grey banding stuff then wait because i'd assume people like myself using woled now don't mind or care about the minor grey banding
i feel folks who are really particular about that sort of thing would be better served with qd oled in a fully dark room because i doubt any woled will satisfy them fully with the banding stuff
The R50x uses the same core drivers as the R70x, just modified. Look at that!
hrm i have a friend in USA right now, maybe the plan is i ask them to go to microcenter and bring me back a bundle lol
that seems only way to build a half decent priced system right now
yesh, do it before another price hike hit the tower
yeah the distortion levels at 114db are quite worrying
he should test at like 125db so you could really see the distortion come out
that will allow us to truly tell which headphones are worthy
is it really needed? I think most people don't really EQ/raise the volume of their headphone to that extreme amount
is 114db not extreme?
I dunno, I mostly listen around 64-75db
then why look at distortion charts measured at 114db
thats why nobody cares about what amir has to say
taking into account measurements taken at dangerous sound levels is pointless
if you listen to music above 100dbspl repeatedly, you WILL irreversibly damage your hearing
"NIHL can be caused by a one-time exposure to an intense “impulse” sound, such as an explosion, or by continuous exposure to loud sounds over an extended period of time, such as noise generated in a woodworking shop.
Recreational activities that can put you at risk for NIHL include target shooting and hunting, snowmobile riding, listening to MP3 players at high volume through earbuds or headphones, playing in a band, and attending loud concerts. Harmful noises at home may come from sources including lawnmowers, leaf blowers, and woodworking tools.
Sound is measured in units called decibels. Sounds at or below 70 A-weighted decibels (dBA), even after long exposure, are unlikely to cause hearing loss. However, long or repeated exposure to sounds at or above 85 dBA can cause hearing loss. The louder the sound, the shorter the amount of time it takes for NIHL to happen." -Noise-Induced Hearing Loss https://www.nidcd.nih.gov/health/noise-induced-hearing-loss
take care of your ears, its worth it
This is why i wear iem outside. Too many car noises.
Also why I want more treble, I can get the details without the loud.
only thing travelling with computer gear is a pita. He'd have to hand carry motherboard at least
This is why I love ANC
Commuting to work is so much more peaceful with ANC. Although it’s more train noises than car noises.
well since my ears are already fucked im fine
so true 👑
truthe nuke
hearing protection earplugs exist
and yes, if you dont plan on ruining your hearing, you shouldnt be going to concerts and festivals without hearing protection
Yeah I have definitely lost some hearing from those
welp, thats how the cookie crumbles unfortunately
I got into stuff in my past that has definitely damaged my hearing to a certain extent
Ears ringing after some of those
Idk why I would enjoy the concert just as much at much lower volume
maybe not, but eitherway its just not healthy for your hearing
My tinnitus was acting up yesterday, quite irksome
Don't be a fool, protect your (hearing) tool
This is why you should have good sound system at home, so that you can get half of the experience (good sound system, if concert is even good for that).
I got some of that due to an "accident" at a shooting range, the shooting instructor basically didn't tell any of us to put in hearing protection. (and since I was a kid I didnt think much of it) And so someone shot a 12ga next to me, that was quite loud.
So due to that I have pretty rare, but persistent flare-ups of tinnitus.
teuthnuke
Thankfully besides that, my hearing is really good all things considered.
For those of you who have both the 80he and 60he v2 which keyboard do you end up using more and why?
How come you prefer it?
Using 80HE right now, but bought 60v2 and Optimum case, because I don't use F keys and arrows that much. Also think 60% looks cleaner overall, really like the Optimum case.
the others are too small and lack a numpad
all my dumb friends were shocked that I wanted to wear earplugs for the sabaton concert 💀
actually same with my miku concert, my friend only wore earplugs for the songs he didn’t like 🥀
at least now earpods exist so more people actually have something that act as earplugs (unless they play music at loud volume)
shits getting too hard to choose
I mean, I like how flat the mids is on hype 4 mk2. But at $150 less I can get almost the same treble.

That's dBA
Reaching into the 100s in bass is very common
I do it all the time. Human hearing is far less sensitive in the lower frequencies
The idea that «100 dB is insane and will destroy your hearing!!» is a misconception from A-weighted hearing charts
Of course 100 dB is insanely loud at 1000 Hz where our hearing is most sensitive
But at 50 Hz it is not
Amir's distortion measurements are the most useful ones out there exactly because he measures at louder volumes than others
So apply all, or any part of what you just said to his susvara review.
I'm not talking about the Susvara review. I'm defending 114 dB measurements
Alright, so to the meat and potatoes of the argument then. Just because frequencies lower down are ones that we are not as sensitive to, doesn't mean in the slightest that your ears will not be impacted. Low end frequencies still contribute to hearing loss.
"Low frequency noises when presented at high intensity and longer duration can become as damaging as the high frequency noises.
High frequency (high pitched) sounds are easier for our ears to detect, which is why they often seem louder than low frequency sounds. However, low pitched noises can still cause hearing damage, even if it doesn’t seem as intense.
In other words, just because we perceive low frequency sounds less easily doesn’t mean they still can’t damage our hearing over time and/or at a high intensity."
People are much more likely to incorrectly gauge what is a safe listening level @ lower frequencies.
"The results of this study clearly indicate that there is a pronounced discrepancy between the unobtrusive perception of LF sound, reflected in their low sensation levels and the physiological responses of the cochlea following the LF sound exposure. To the best of our knowledge, perception has been the only measure available in humans to assess inner ear responses to very LF sound, but, as the current data show, severely underestimates cochlear and, especially OHC, sensitivity. Direct quantifications of inner ear active amplification, as measured in this study, are much better suited to assess the risk potential of LF sound."
^^^ That one I would actually very much recommend reading into.
The first article is almost useless. It is being vague about the numbers.
The second one says «The sound level of the intense 30 Hz stimulus was 120 dB SPL, corresponding to an A-weighted level of 80 dB».
Yeah of course this is bad when it's a constant 90 second sound being played...
When there are sounds in the 110 dB range in the bass playing music they will be very brief peaks
Amir mentions this in the video I sent btw
Yeah, brief peaks. So what did you mean by "Reaching into the 100s in bass is very common", cause peaking at 100db for a very short amount of time is fine, but consistently listening at that volume is not. And that's putting past the fact that 100db is ~3x quieter than 114db. There is no reason to measure at 114db, and listening to any sounds at 100db consistently will damage your hearing over time.
I never said peaking at 100 dB for a very short time. You are now just taking my 100s number and making it as weak as possible. 100 - @ 105 dB can easily be sustained level at low frequencies if you listen to 85 dBA especially if your headphone isn't flat in the bass. Peaks will be even higher than that. I truly do not understand why people have a problem with 114 dB measurements aside from misunderstanding loudness, it is just a deeper insight into distortion performance of the transducer in the end.
Now you claim that any sounds at 100 dB consistently will damage your hearing, your sources do not say that. The last one does 120 dB which is far louder as a consistant sound
120db for 90 sec.
Well then, it seems that both of our minds are made up and you are more than welcome to think whatever you wish. I do not see a point to keep this going.
But I still want to urge people to err on the side of caution when it comes to hearing. Hearing damage is irreversible.
For good faith I'd recommend you take a quick look at the video I sent since I looked through your two articles, one of which was quite long
Isn't it a well known fact that amir is deaf?
I used to be very much into whatever Amir was about quite a bit ago, so I am pretty familiar with his philosophy on the topic. I skimmed through a fair bit of the video but I really do not see much about health concerns. Video seemed to be much more about perceptive loudness from a standpoint of what is comfortable, and not what is safe.
Not that he didn't talk about hearing health at all, just didn't seem to be the main focus. Much more a secondary, even tertiary one.
nah i already got one of the new tandems lol
i decided to buy one regardless
i dont mind either
im really eyeing with that TrueBlack Glossy OLED 👀
It’s great
The 280hz one I guess?
Which is plenty for most folks anyway I think. Only comp fps people need the 540hz
Yeah
What do people mean by need when you say that?
It's perfectly reasonable to want that if you need a certain low level of persistence even for singleplayer titles
Higher refresh rate is always nicer for the same reason why more colour coverage and accuracy is 😍
my friend turned up all his settings and played on 80fps on his 360hz monitor, he said it was fine since he didn’t turn on motion blur
I should send him the ufo
That's always the best tool to see it with
i would assume they mean need as in what is most competitive for die hard comp fps folks
but that's a subjective question
like 540hz doesn't benefit as much for someone playing solo rpg with high detail that isn't even getting 300fps anyway
whereas comp fps you actually can get 500-600consistent fps with good computer
i can't even hit that FPS number
yeah you need basically 5000 series or high 4000 series card plus 7800x3d or better
5090 and can't even hit 5090fps smh fake advertising amd
The one with black crunching and grey banding?
Yeah that one has shit reviews iirc
Which is weird cuz the mo27q28g is the same panel and it didnt have those issues
my room is not well light up
Does that matter?
When one is glossy and the other has a matt display
But black crushing and gray banding dont rely that much on panel coating id say
i don't really care about gray banding
why not try and find a monitor with less issues though
i hope you dont have any at least then if you’re set on it
Check our Monitor Table Tool to see all our reviews. Easily select and compare products, and use our filters and sorting options to find the best Monitor for your needs. Example: Check our TV Table Tool to see all our reviews. Easily select and compare products, and use our filters and sorting options to find the best TV for your needs.
Doesn’t exist yet
Qd oled has its own issues
Some of which annoy people even more
Just wait until RGB Stripe next year
Tandem stripe
Bee just said that there’s a different model with the same panel that doesn’t have those two issues
Not saying takko has to buy a perfect monitor, but they did say they play in a dark room so maybe qd glossy won’t be as big a problem for them
Mo27q28g had less reported issues
Honestly I think it’s just less reported due to less people buying it
Its the cheapest and first version of it
It’s probably still pretty prevalent as it’s same panel
Most people i know have it
Who bought tandem
What I noticed is there’s a new trend of oled gamers really caring about the grey banding stuff
Which has amplified people looking specifically for it
Point something out and figure a method to measure it and people will care about it
And redditers won’t even buy or support a monitor now that has any, to the point oled gaming reddit threads are filled with same 4-5 people saying woled is unusable and qd is only way
It’s way overblown honestly
I feel like my monitor is flickering and I don’t know why, gonna drive me mad
I guess its because its more affordable for general masses now too
i just want an OLED monitor
All i can say is that i had 0 issues so far with the gigabyte version
it’s honestly been fine for me. Never cared about any banding stuff on my end and it’s been great
Much prefer it to qd oled since I literally have studio lighting in my gaming room
do not like the washed out black and purple effect since I don’t game in the dark
OLED is nice but I kinda wish I just got glossy IPS instead
I love my glossy oled, the gaming clarity is pretty nuts
Ips with what tech?
The one downside is it really made me realise how bad Netflix quality is
Nvidia upscaling? 😄
it’s so tragic that Netflix doesn’t do proper higher res for a lot of things
Streaming bit rates are ass
I was running the nvidia upscaling on all the vids until i saw the gpu usage lmao
Apple TV goes above 25mbps for 4K HDR at least
Idk, didn’t look at any IPS monitors
Kinda just fomo bought OLED, always thought my laptop screen looked nice and I don’t find the diff to be super worth it, it’s a great monitor though, I’ll still keep it
You need Blu-ray or 4K Blu-ray (when available) for proper quality.
Idk for me the difference is kinda huge
Went from msi 273qpf to gigabyte mo27q28g
Jellyfin
I went from 1080p60 TN to 1440p360 QD OLED so that difference was big
But my laptop has glossy(I think IPS) screen and I didn’t find the difference between those super big
Alternatively: https://www.kaleidescape.com/
Use what the rich people use
For me it was matte finish to the new matte finish on the oled, which is quite good vs old tech
https://rog.asus.com/monitors/27-to-31-5-inches/rog-strix-xg27acs/spec/ me with a Fast IPS monitor
i actually hate that i can see blocky color blocks on netflix now
i thought my browser was broken but then i realised it's just oled can show it better
A year of Netflix is about the same in price as small NAS setup
even that teaser we just did on youtube
looks ugly on my oled but nice on ips because it can't see the blocks
the jagged lines tilt me
That's why I only watch 70 GB Remux files
x264 1080p WebRIP

watching windowed so I don’t have to worry about scaling 👴
Honest, I don't remember when I last saw a rip with something else than x265 or AV1
Future is now
AV2 when
Also - dontcha love when movie has improperly encoded 5.1 so that it's quiet af on 2.0 configuration
Does anyone here know the Pulsar Gaming Gears Xlite v3 Wired Medium?
Thx
Is wooting 60he+ v1 and The g pro x superlight v1 a valid Combo?
I ordered one. My current mouse is still a Roccat Kone Pro. It was about time for a new one.
This will be my new: https://eu.pulsar.gg/collections/mice/products/xlite-v3-wired-gaming-mouse?variant=50055985824073
worlds smallest mouse
Full of holes like Swiss cheese. 😂
i already got mad and shot it a few times

😂
have they fix the software stuff yet ?
G wolves took $40 off and I had to pay for shipping, and it took a solid month, support was so unhelpful and I still haven’t gotten the money back 💀
There's a firmware bug which should be fixed soon. Beta firmware is already available but not publicly yet.
I kinda wanna get the boardzy cl
Not smallest. Its pretty standard for a FT Mouse.
mine is smaller 😎
You can palm this??????????
claw
Shit this probably aint even the smallest actually good mouse
yeah im claw gripping this mouse
a literal claw
perfect side button position
smol hand moment
I can kinda pull that off on the hsk pro but I’m on the very edge of the buttons and the front end of the mouse
and strained
this is basically the same size as the hsk pro maybe a LITTLE bigger
its just a better hsk pro i think
Im gonna stick with the OP1 shape its just too goated
I could never 😭
Looks uncomfortable
the op1 was ok
Elo measured it as like 4mm wider
i got used to it as my overall grip is really weird LOL
yea that
Zabito boga
Beastx max
That’s quite a bit, closer to an asym than a hsk pro in size
I might try it at some point if it’s on maxgaming, shopping through gwolves was horrible
Cutting off a third of the weight is cool, even if I like how skinny the hsk pro is
Do you know if the clicks are as heavy as the asym
yea its in the same category of mice as an asym
with those super low profile switches
shopping was ok but support was horrible for me*
I didn’t like the scroll wheel either
Except shipping took forever
i dont use it much anyways
I didn’t like how little feedback it had I think
Kinda felt like the encoder was made of rubber like the outside of the wheel, can’t explain it well lol
tiny hands lol
yes
I was fingertipping the logitech performance mx 👴
and also the gpx when I still had one
ah, yes, the OG MX master before they called it the MX master LMAO
Same
Its the only way a gpx is somewhat comfortable for me 😭
LMAO
Fuckass potato shape
Im not a fan
Cant palm it, claw feels bad because of flat sides, + heavier than I prefer
rip
Beastx max 🤍
gpx 2 dex feels great in my hand
I hate ergos 😔
the magnesium coating on those for me is really slippery
Really?
yeah.
Gpx is like a slip and slide for me 😭 😭 😭
its not isolated to WLMouse either, it's almost every magnesium mouse i've tried
Havent tried pulsar, but lamzus is very nice
lamzu was decently grippy for me, but the clicks were super duper stiff
Genetics moment ig, skin difference
They were lighter than my gpx1 by a decent amount, but nowhere near as light as my beastx
Beastx w omrons is unlike any mouse ive tried when it comes to the clicks
for me it takes like double the force to click than a fresh out of the box GPX2
These finally made my stop loving bspd as much
Damn
My grip is funny
Jakubix nobody cares about the g502
Thumb has to squish mouse hard, lmb and rmb fingers i use curled fingers and rest are squishing mouse from right and pinky finger is free

Otherwise it is not optimal
@wispy blaze g502 is basicly perfect if you have big hands
as someone with big hands
no
Define big hands
my hands are 20x12cm
Mine is like 25 x 18cm
as a guy with big hands, absolutely not
Due to scoliosis
does your back spin a fucking 180???
Basicly S
My entire family members are tall as fuck
Tallest one is like above 200 cm
"A height loss of a full foot (12 inches) is an extreme and highly improbable outcome solely from scoliosis"
im gonna lean on the side of no, you arent missing 30cm from scoliosis...
Well if we are talking genetics. I'am because it would grow properly if no scoliosis
@wispy blaze anyway i was talking about my mouse grip
Try it

ive tried something like that
not a fan
i use my pinky a lot for finer movements so it just doesnt feel as controlled
It is very stable tho
on a 120g g502 maybe
anything can be stable on that
my mouse is 1/3rd of the weight and is affected far more by changes in force
I cant use my grip on smaller and mouses because they slide too much
^

the g502s surface area and weight make it require far more force to move in small amounts
smaller mice = lighter + less surface area
I dont feel heavinness too
youve used the g502 for however long you are used to it
just like how when you get used to light mice you dont notice how light they are
More like they do not make g502 shape mouse
For my grip it is unfortunetly
yeah i mained a g502x didnt think it was heavy. then moved to a gpx dex. now the g502x feels like a brick
yeah but your in the minority now
G502x is kinda worse version of g502 lightspeed
Lightspeed is name of wireless technology from logitech
No wire g502 is great
But issue i had with their new g502 new mouse switches are to heavy to press in middle
Thats why I returned it
need razer to bring back the viper ultimate and improve their ass software
my mouse is 31/200 of the weight

i'm so down for 29g x2f if pulsar fixes their software
Also pulsar making Sayo device clone!?
my x2v2 finally broke and i'm on my backup, so if they could release x2f 29g soon that would be greta
and supposedly they have software fixing the sensor issues internally
Yeah it's in alpha right now
imagine if wooting came out with a mouse
Got that "clicky" sound profile 😭
thicky 😭
I could see them making a GPX2 Superstrike esc mouse
I'll miss you my cozy be quiet! Case. But the power button stopped working
Phanteks gotta be slaughtered for their aio clearance
You should swap the power button for a lekker switch instead smh
I thought they were gonna do a closed shell x4 instead of a new x2f
or I believe that’s what they were saying in their server after the x2f beta
Cant you just swap the power button?
Also pulsar announced a blue archive collab
Where is that, haven’t seen anything more about that
Okay that’s mentioned in their video
I wish they were fast when it comes to firmware stuff, but it's fine
I wish they’d give some indication of how far out it is though because if it’s late 2026 I’ll just buy an asym now
Yeah, they already shared firmware fix to me recently, will test it out next week once I get home
Seems promising
Soon the mice weigh so little that you'd think you were holding a breath of air in the hand.
It's already like that tbh. I can barely feel my 35g X2 Crazylight in my hand, and there are also 15-20g fingertip mice too
20g
Yeah asym is already as light as you can really go for production stuff I think
I do like that x2f has fully flat sides though
I don’t need the holes to save weight
Yeah, flat sides are good
I just ordered the Pulsar Xlite Wired Medium. I need something with a cable. I've had really bad experiences with wireless mice (and keyboards).
But most importantly, the prices are insane. I wouldn't pay €150-200 for any mouse in the world.
hate this mouse 💢
i could have but how could i have excused buying new parts otherwise
i upgraded my whole system this year. top of the line parts (excluding GPU, not paying 1000 to go to palantir)
Gonna buy 2 pair of moondrop old fashioned
In Taobao they're like $15 and here it cost like $30
Still, shipping made em both cost $40 but it's still cheaper than a single one here minus shipping.
Why 2
It's cheap.

Been wanting koss like earphone, and since old fashioned exist and has replaceable connector and mounting, it's perfect
My next on the list would be flathead, but ehh, never have a good experience with one
Why get one then?
I dunno, i might just skip that lmao
Haven't even found one that interests me on that
Just ordered a wooting 60he+, tipsy m1 iems and a fifine am8t
holy brick
It's done yippee
ordered 3 instead lmao, cause it's just extra $15.
mine is on the way and I'm hoping it'll be a nice side-grade to my Koss', but if nothing else it'll be a neat thing to look at imo
or could have built my own had I not rid of my soldering iron 😭 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-i4DQwczgQ&t=1543s
If you haven't already modded a pair of Koss headphones -- KSC75, Porta Pro, or KPH40 -- can you really call yourself a headphone enthusiast? I think not. In this episode of Wave Guide, I cover three common modifications for Koss headphones, including pad swaps, headband swaps, and even cable swaps. All of which you can use to customize your hea...
I just wanna put a nice headpads and maybe earclip on one of them
I really wonder what distortion performance it has
Would need to be amazing to survive a bass boost big enough to make it sound good probably
Nice build, mines slowly coming together
another hydroshift 2 user spotted
Can you blame me tho lmaooo
Looks much better when colors are more dialed in
Is your CPU idling at 58?
No I was on arc raiders lol
My CPU idles at 57, probably cuz I didn't use thermalpaste, but those graphene pads instead.
Clean I wanna side mount my card tbh this is my new build
I’m a lian li chrome case lover though
Yay
I do like the chrome haha, if it wasn't for the aorus screen I'd say vertical mount it
Tbh I leave the screen off ngl lol
Just ordered myself a govee plug to try and link up to my stream deck to try and control my setup lights lol
Fair enough, it's such a tiny screen anyways
Haha that’s nice ya I like the chrome case cuz the lights in my case are very dim on the outside it’s so nice
damn your pc clean asl brodie
y all prefer performance or looks
like if y'all had liKE LETS SAY 1.8K or 2K to spend
Guys what mouses do you have/recommend 300 budget
300 is a lot for a mouse
what grip though

yeah $300 is more than both my work and gaming mice combined lol
Nah, they said 300, so it may be any currency
Honestly 300 is a lot go for something like finalmouse, performs well and looks clean, razer and pulsare mices are tuff as well and i personally got the gpx superlight 2 but the side buttons aint allat but im happy with this mouse and the software
but yeah de''pends on grip aswell
Finalmouse 💀
i went with gpx cuz of the the safe grip
nah bro its good lowkey just expensive as shit
i mean if he wants to spend that much its for looks aswell
Finalmouse is shite
Cheap Chinesium mice with no QC marketed as something premium
Get WLMouse, exactly the same stuff, but better QC and software
i wouldn't go for finalmouse too lowkey
WLMouse they look alike and more available your right my bad
should probably recommend based on what grip and what type of mouse he wants, not just price
yeah really important
finalmouse whether you love or hate them isn't a fit for every grip. It's low hump which not everyone wants/prefers for one
Aud
was about to get that medium too
I bought a cl mini but hasn’t arrived yet
Sorry all i know is like TikTok knowledge, is attack shark x11 or wtv it’s called any good?
what grip do you use?
hell yeah, tell us how is it when you got it
For 300 aud you'll get a very good mouse, avoid attack shark malware
was about to get that medium version too but when with gpx idk why
yeah the cyber attack was lowkey crazy and x11 aint allat from x11 users but its not bad either, you just can get better mouses
espacially from the budget he got
web software, better main and side buttons, better coating, lighter
That’s like a whole stick of 8gb ram, big spender
yeah cuz gpx side buttoppns aint allat just went with cuz ima a toe sucker for logitech mouse's like a fanboy
potato

but got a potato shape too
love me some potatoes man
pulsar would've been a good choice
i love their recent projects
what's y'all favorite brand ?
If you claw grip with like medium-large hands lamzu maya x could be a good choice, my friend really likes his
If you don’t mind a wired mouse, endgame gear op1/xm2 should be good too
for fingertip x2 crazylight mini is probably one of the nicest
Razers mice could be a nice option for claw too
Idk exactly what they cost in aud though
Idk ??? Right handed 😭
erm
The only claw grip ik is on controller
is this a good pic to explain? The red parts are the contact points for each grip
claw grip goated for me lowkey
Alr wait
Zaunkoenig M3K. You pretty much buy it just for its rarity
some shapes work better for certain grips than others
correct me if im worng, tenz pulsar mouse would be good for that grip
Looks like a chunk of carbon bro
Maya X should be good for claw
yeah also for fingertip grip
it’s very expensive
Would it matter if i got a “palm” mouse if i had claw
there are hybrid kind of mopuse for both
Definitely far from all the ways one can grip a mouse effectively.
like the tenz pulsar mouse got palm and claw
sounds like you need Tenz's mouse, he's a hybrid of palm-claw https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mN5ExWreD0

Actually wonder any 1-3-1 grippers among the mouse reviewers
I haven’t seen any
Guess smaller audience kind of lot of all they say won't apply to ones that don't.
What do you think abt the gpro superlight?
i got a questions, pc box related, 4000D or nzxt H6 flow ? i will get a rtx 5070 and ryzen 7 9800x3D
ive got it its good but there are better options
i love the on board memory software though but bad side buttons not bad but like not good too
Like im looking for something aesthetically pleasing (white) and also good at its job
but get the gpx2 if you get, in my country there about the same price idk for you
a lot of options but look this video he sent you and see it for yourself
Maya X looks good in white, should be good for claw, but always get ur stuff somewhere with good returns if you don’t end up liking it
4000D case or nzxt h6 flow for air flow ? What do y’all recommend
Havn bf360 flow
i have a build in the 4000d
for a midsize, its small or gpu is a fat fuck
I'm not a fan of too much glass, so Corsair for mine
idk i got the pny three fans oc rtx 5070 foor me its more about thermals
whats the mm length
my aorus is 339mm long
uhh wait ima check i just got it
aight bet
fatass cooler, cant even hit above 65c
even with 10% pwr limit
that good asl though
the problem is i went and checked the gpu box aint got the details about the size
but online it says that's it 299,5 mm
i will get like an nzxt 120mm fan as exhaust cuz idk and two 140mm intake fans at the bottom for intake from corsair non rgb cause im more of performance guy then looks for now
im only using the aio cause it was free lmao
air cooling all the way
nah im getting aio too cuz i love the look and the price of crosair aio black
im getting CORSAIR Nautilus 360 RS
i dont really look at aios
bet thx so nzxt isnt the right option from what im hearing
also mine doesnt tell my pump speed so i have it set permanently to ~70% speed or else it gets really annoying
what cpu and gpu you got ?
its louder than when i had an air cooler on idle
9800x3d + 9070xt
damn dawg cool build
aight and how the thermals looking like
with the aio you got*
i really gotta hit the cpu for it to go above 75
but for esport titles n shi its ~60-65
idle is a bit warmer cause i have a really really quiet fan profile
~47c idle
thats good man aight ima take, the 4000D
sincvve i love the look of nzxt but the fans of croisair i didn,n't know what to choose
thanks for the help Gore and Prospa
all good, G 👍
47C idle is quite high no?
i mean 65 in game is good
Yeah that’s true
and yeah 47 idle is still good its not concerning above 60 idle can be concerning though
but if yoou can get like 30-40 idle that's really good temps
47 is great
yep for me is good too
my current pc cpu is so bad that temps dont even show
my cpu is lowkey cooked cant wait to have a new pc
Wdym?
yes, i said it was high
idk when i go on apps like task manager or nvdia app temps dont show up but on other videos from people i see them
and i hadnt changed the paste for since i got like for over 4 years
is it bad if i dont change the paste each year or im fine
cuz games lagged recently i have a rywen 5 3500 and gtx 1660 supper
you should change it every so often
theres not really a set amount of time but just when you can
i see
This is what im idling at with silent fan profile
Hwinfo64
damn
Are you on win11 though?
yep
i can see my gpu temps but not my cpu's
yeah CPU temps u cant see in task manager im fairly certain
shit but even on nvdia app it dont show up
WHy would cpu temp show on your nvidia app
Hwinfo64 or msi afterburner
cuz there is a setting to show them
aight i did try msi after burner too
just use hwinfo64 man xD
wait ima try again cuz i think i might be autistic
its literally made for allat
aight
our idle temp might differ due to case then?
or what tower cooler do you have, im guessing a dual tower too
He has an AIO
huh
Gore has an AIO
yeah I see now
I installed it made my pc crash
But arent AIOs supposed to run cooler idle than air
Aight
depends on the aio
Wait ima see if i installed on the wrong website cuz wtf
I do recommend a full windows reinstall instead
What website huh
Windows always the answer
You can have a fresh windows install, download riot vanguard
and get bsod instantly
Just install Linux
Man tf did i do
whocrashed will hopefully tell u
inb4 it crashes running whocrashed
ok nah i got with msi afterburner i got 47-50 cpu temps idle i mean its good i think
ryzen 5 3500 and air cooler
nah ima googling it right now
it said : This indicates that a thread is returning to user mode from a system call when its IRQL is still above PASSIVE_LEVEL.
most of the time i look at temps its only a few minutes after gaming + it being summertime when i did look at it
and im not exactly home so i cant say what it is
driver or software issue
So you'll probably be fine
aight bet thanks
i checked 4k displays prices
