Monitor questions

So there's the ASUS 32" 4k 240hz glossy QD OLED (XG32UCWMG) monitor coming out. And I'm thinking about it bc despite never wanting to game in 4k, it has this dual mode that lets you do 1080p at 480hz. I plan to either always stick with 1080p (but I require a larger monitor size for my oldge eyes), or as a side option would like to try 1440p again once I have a system that can handle it.

My only issue with this is if I ever upgraded my system and it could handle 1440p, I'd rather have a native 1440p monitor. I tried 27" 1440p before, it was too small and not enough compensation for the shrikage of everything in 1440p so I really need it in 30"+. But no one seems to make one in ~32" outside ultra wides.

Also I know nothing about DLSS. Could I just get a 32" 4k monitor, than have DLSS give me 1440p with native resolution like performance (I know it cant fit perfectly so itd be a res under or over sized I just dont know how that can work)? Because I know when you try to run non-native resolutions normally you can have more latency or some other kind of issue. Or its just going to look awful and never as good as a native 1440p panel?

In which case maybe I hold out for them to do like a glossy qd oled 1440p ultra wide with 1080p dual mode. Am I on the right path of thinking even?

so i am working on a cusotmloop for my pc, but am struggling on deciding a configuration i am happy with.
since i have an antec c8 curve, i wanted to put the rad vertically in the back, but i dont want a reservoir anywhere, so was considering a distroplate+pump, but was hoping to put it in the bottom of the case. but that gives issue with the pump facing downwards, which isnt good.
i feel at this point my only option is a custom distro plate with the pump at the bottom (and i remove the mesh filter on the bottom so the pump can pass through there), though i can see the pump not fitting due to the low feet and not a lot of clearance below the case.

any suggestions?
