Lost tapes is a continuation of regular show, whilist the show concluded the fans wanted more and the creators got greenlit for a few episodes that are suspected to happen within the shows cannon somewhere between the first and last season.

Lars of the stars is a continuation of steven universe aimed at adults its supposed to be darker and might break the steven point of view rule, whilist i do not wish for more SU content its nice to hear that they might try something different connected to the franchise and anwser some questions
