well its a bit more than that but the pcb is the same
any particular reason for going with an fr4 plate in it?
Completely personal imho, the price difference is negligible when you mod it yourself because you need to procure the FR4 plate and modify the lekker tikken switches. For me personally its worth it because itâs a very good out of the box experience
stiffer for more stability, sound
TenZ preferred the stiffer plate specifically
i like my fr4 plate cause of the feel and it doesnt sound as dead as the pc plate
tho i might swap to alu later
what does a fr4plate mean and what can i notice for a difference as someone who has no experience or knowledge about it?
The rgb shine through is also nice because the kana is translucent, have you tried different colours and brightness?
I'm pretty sure the TenZ keycaps are not shinethrough, as they are 5-sided dye submimated
Oh maybe wrong term lmao
fr4 and pc are different materials that are used for the plate that the switches are clicked into. a softer plate might make it possible to move the switches side to side slightly while a stiffer plate does not. It also affects the sound.
the plate holds all the switches in the keyboard basically so the material changes how the switches move around/sound
Correct. They will allow some light through, but it will be more like putting a piece of paper in front of a lamp. A glow.
No actual letters. Not like doubleshot shinethrough keycaps.
does anybody got signed keyboard
It is pretty noticeable, the default rgb setting looks good
are there any official updates on the knob? i noticed the english page is removed and google seo redirects to the chinese one: https://wooting.io/zh-CN/knobs
also, doesnt the regular 80HE come with lekker tikkens already?
no
what is the fr4 plate?
I still havenât received a shipping update for my TenZ ordered before lunch on Friday (CET). Should I be worried?
They have high order volumes at the moment, mine just updated to say it's ready to pack
From what I understand itâs fiberglass reinforced laminate material. Often with copper running through it.
Oh ok thank you
Yeah so does mine, but only if I check Wootingâs internal tracking and not Shopify.
yeah, i have. brightness is at 100% but i dont personally look at the sides of my keyboard ever so also the translucent sides arent that important to me even though it is nice, just not noticeable for me (also have a wristpad which covers one side already). i used pudding keycaps on it and then i like the keyboard a lot but at that point i could probably better get the 80HE and save money since then the whole Tenz part is defeated i guess
fr4 is what circuit boards are made out of
Indeed. IIRC it stands for flame retardant 4.
Yikes itâll be along time before mine is shipped then
thanks to the ones who have been helpful
Not completely defeated because of the fr4 plate and very different switches the normal 80he has
just installed the 80he
good feeling but not that great idk why, it lacks some clicky noise like the blackwidow from razer
if you want a louder switch, get the owlabs ti he
I have the Tikken switches in my 80HE and I ended up putting non-shinethrough keycaps on it as well. I still ordered the TenZ because of the looks. I have a feeling I'll like the sound of my Zinc 80HE over the TenZ too. I'll find out today.
you might like swapping the modules around cause the tenz edition has an fr4 plate instead of the stock pc plate
That was the one thing that kind of was the deciding factor for me. I wanted the FR4 plate. I know I can buy an FR4 plate from Torontoman, but it's not currently in stock.
Or at least it wasn't last time I looked.
Do you like the Owlab Ti? I actually ordered some and they arrived last week. They're sitting in a bag on my shelf. I really like the Tikkens. I got the Geon RAW too and had put those in prior to the Tikken, wasn't really a fan of those.
I do not have the owlabs myself but i know they are louder than most others
Ah. Figured I'd try them in something eventually. I'm kind of excited for the TenZ, I'm really excited for the 60 v2. But mine won't arrive until March.
I'd love to hear your thoughts.
What do you think is the best case for the Wooting 80he?
Black? Gray? Frosted?
I'm leaning towards black for now, but I'm wondering how the other options look too.
2040 Q6
how will these knobs work?
The big one inserts into 4 switch slots and the small one into a single one. You can rotate it and push it.
I think best is subjective. Do you care about weight? Do you care more about the potential to scratch paint on metal or crack plastic if you plan on taking it apart it a bunch if you plan on modding it?
Into four specific ones*
which ones?
Cause they have to line up, making only the home cluster or numpad possible.
which keyboard do you need to use these?
And the UwU
No silly. You can't fit the large knob on the UwU, Mark.
Oh thanbks what is the difference between the small and big one? More function on the big one?
Size
just the size?
Same functionality
oh ok
But you CAN fit a small knob in each switch slot though
The small one also has discrete ticks to rotate around while the big knob is smooth
There's knob terminology for that, but I don't remember which is which
Tactile feedback would turn into a fidget toy for me.
Stress releif knob hehh
the big one seems really cool but i need my home cluster
Ribbed for our pleasure
Eyyyy my tracking just popped; estimated delivery on Wednesday. Hype đ
also does tenz keyboard contain home+end replacement keycaps? PgUp and PgDown can be sacrified
I want a small knob to replace the top left on my 60/80
I want a full knob keyboard
I'm doing ESC with it myself
There is a joke here about putting knobs in holes but I wonât go there đ

it just says "additional keycaps"
Then yea you get the extra nav cluster ones
That's true.
I'll try buying the black plastic one first, and if I don't like it, I'll switch to the zinc alloy case.
Thanks.
Mine just arrived. It comes with a Home, End, Scroll lock, a "custom design" logo key.
I really like how it feels to type on.
tysm
It takes so long for my 80he to deliver
The keycap design was weird, all of the US lettering shines through.
Is it possible to make the 0.1 rapid trigger more sensitive?
no
Why and how much more sensitive you want it to be đ
Even keyboards that go "lower" don't recommend doing so
0.1mm is the thickness of a piece of paper.
Like to where if u slightly tap the key sometimes it will accidentally spam the letter like eee fff
Yeah those are misinputs and Wooting specifically tuned the keyboard to not have them
but... why would you want accidental presses
please make it 0.0001
(please no)
But for some games thatâs lowkey good though
I don't think misinputs are good in any game
if 0.1mm isn't enough then there's another issue
cough skillissue
Sounds like skirting around game rules to me
you can achieve 0.0 actuation point
you do this by unplugging the usb c cable from the wooting keyboard and imagine the gameplay from your head
0.10mm is so slow, 0.1 when
At this point, learn how to press a single key 3x faster by alternating 3 finger rather than using macro/bugs.
just lag switch the lobby so everyone is frozen but you can still move
Gears of war 2 online was rough back in the day

are the tenz 80HE keycaps shine through like the normal 80HE?
nah what games are u playing that you need to go faster đł
do you prefer the TenZ version or the version you already have and modded?
They are not.
I haven't used the TenZ enough to make a decision yet. I just got it this morning and had to leave for work 30 minutes after I set it up. I really like the feel of the lighter Tikken switches though and the rigidity of the FR4 plate is noticable. I prefer the heft of the Zinc Alloy case, though like I said I haven't used the TenZ enough to know if it will shift while I'm gaming.
They shine through to an extent. Not exactly like the normal PBT keys, but the US lettering legends and some (but not all) of the Kanji legends shine through.
My Tenz hasnât been shipped yet and some folks already have theirs

i paid the Rothschilds to delay your shipping
Just bought it what we thinking? @lilac ibex
package just came in
Yay!!!!!
I hope you like it!!!!
Where to heck do you get these keycaps????
I haven't used the TenZ enough to say whether I like it more, less or the same as my original 80HE. But I really like the board regardless. Don't think you went wrong.
I also want one with the wooting logo is the problem. (Windows key)
Ive never had a proper gaming keyboard before this is my first time buying a wooting
a bit expensive for a keyboard tho i've heard its worth it
Mine was 415 aud
Wow...
I orderd from it in a store from perth
so no delivery fee :D
Initial investment is higher than some, but no one else has a 4 year warranty. The potential to spend the same or more on multiple keyboards in 4 years isn't unheard of.
I dont think you can get a wooting from stores
I tried looking but could only find it on wooting and random esports websites
Delivered
Did you get the tenz?
i think ive had a new keyboard every year for the past 5 years
yes i got the tenz one
I got normal, wooting was charging like 250 aud shipping so I decided to get the normal from an esports shop.
I got a squeaky A key however
For me shipping was 10 GBP = 20 AUD 2-14 business days
That's pretty good for the tenz one!
This squeaky A key is bugging the heck out of me
Yeah after buying a 75% keyboard i can never go back to a 60%
I had an 100% before
ive always had 60% until last year
i currently have a womier sk75
Guys does anyone know why my A key is squeaky? I've had this keyboard for 8 days
Take it out and replace it with one of the spare keys
Switch may not have been lubed well. It comes with extra switches if you don't have lube to re-lube it yourself.
Oh, so it just needs lube? I have yoyo lube, would that work?
Yes I'm a yoyoer before you ask.
I've never tried using anything other than lube meant for switches. You can get Krytox 205g0 for pretty cheap online.
I might just replace the switch, is it easy?
Yeah, unplug the keyboard, pull the cap and then the switch using the tool that came with the keyboard.
And then just pop them back in. Just pull and push vertically.
What's the chance I break it?
did bro really say this
The switch
1% literally
Very low
Uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
its basically the same process as taking the keycap off but with a switch instead
There's a hook point on the top and bottom of the switch. Just click the switch puller onto the switch, squeeze lightly and pull straight up.
I'll do it tonight, thinking of getting jade pros for this thing soon!
Maybe some geon raws
I got the Geon RAW and the Lekker Tikkens separately from the Lekker V2 60s. I personally like the Lekker Tikkens the most of the 3. I also bought Owlab Ti HE, but haven't tried them yet.
But everyone has their own preferences.
how are the switches on the tenz keyboard is there anywhere i can view sound test?
Wooting has sound samples on their YouTube page.
Of pretty much every popular HE switch.
you mind telling me the switch in the tenz keyboard im not sure
It's a Tikken switch, but lighter than the traditional ones. The ones you can buy from the website are 60gf, the ones that come with the TenZ are lighter at 45gf.
Sorry, that was redundant. I'm talking while typing.
I will say of the little amount I've used of the TenZ, I like the lighter feel of the TenZ Tikkens. I get a little fatigue with the traditional Tikkens.
Are you a valorant/cs player due to you buying the tenz wooting?
The Womier SK75 is one I dont have. You'll probably notice the difference in latency though.
I got it for its sound
Wasnt up to date with the rapid trigger keyboards
I play CS2, never played Valorant.
I play valorant but Ive played cs2 just dont see how its enjoyable
Thats just me tho
I play BF6 and BO6 the most. The only thing I use in any of them is rapid trigger.
I've thought about playing Valorant just to try the other features of the keyboard in a competitive setting. I use them in single player games I play.
Also I read there isn't an obscene amount of cheaters in it.
i play a lot of [insert singleplayer game here] since theres no cheaters in it
Tikkens vs Jade pros, give me MORE reasons why I should buy jade pros (I'm buying them anyway hehe)
Who up lubing they switches
Anyone here got a pic of a white zinc with dark keycaps? wanna see how it looks cos im struggling to decide if i wanna keep the base keycaps i got with the wooting or buy some custom ones đ
you rarely find a cheater
i'll get my tenz wooting tmrw đ
Pray for a signature
â¤ď¸ it really does sound 10x better in person
such a satisfying experience
hope my professor gives me a big ol essay to write man i want to use this thing more
Just got my 80he on Friday. Spent the last couple days poking around. It feels great. I was really impressed when I opened the case. Very expensive but the overall quality was immediately apparent. The alloy case is damn heavy and feels so beefy. The switches feel great, now I understand why people like these keyboards for the sound (first HE). The only thing that I donât like is the space bar feels a bit dead and dull in comparison to the other keys, and I really hate that the removable feet to increase the angle donât actually match the case in their contouring at all. They definitely look like an afterthought but they do their job well enough. The software is very nice but I definitely needed to watch the wooting videos on how to make things work well.
Overall 9/10 but I think the price IS too high in general.
I have to re-write our employee handbook tomorrow and Wednesday. I'm kind of curious myself if I end up liking the TenZ more than the regular 80HE after typing 40-50 pages of information.
oh does the tenz one have a diff switch?
Same switch but lighter spring
Pretty sure if u change the stabilisers for the space bar it will fix it ten fold
the tenz one comes with modded tikkens
^
It has a lighter Tikken
Is it lighter? I thought he said it takes a bit more force for the initial press
Which I would love because i fat finger keys often
Well i wouldnât know :v i went from steelseries to 80he lol
But i did notice my ring and pinky fingers resting on the keys which activated them so i had to mess about with the actuation points
i was initially looking at the steelseries apex pro with socd, rapid trigger, custom actuation point
cheaper for full white + wrist rest
but apparently steelseries has a god awful software

I mean its good, but ive always wanted a 80he
It wasnât available in Australia till after I brought the steelseries lmao
The standard prebuilt 80HE comes with Lekker V2 60s.
If you want to get the Tikken in an 80HE, you either have to buy them separately, or buy the parts and build it. But the only ones available for purchase are the 60gf ones.
Or get the TenZ model
I was saying that as opposed to the TenZ.
O
What stabilizers would you recommend if I were to change them?
SW Knight v4
anybody know of anyone getting the signed one yet?
what's a good wristrest for 80he, i use gt80 case and i think my wrist being so low is causing problems cuz when i prop it up with my phone it feels a lot more comfy
Can I use my own switches with the 80HE module or do I have to use wooting brand switches?
Has anyone gotten the Signed one?
You can use almost any HE switch with it.
There's an official 80HE wrist rest. Don't know if it will match the front height of the GT-80 though.
it prob wont but i dont mind that, is there anything else that could be better that is same size or is that about as good as im gonna get
Hiya, just wondering if anyone knows is it possible to have my 80HE monitor my mouse battery and display it on the light indicator?
Been playing with the background service and got curious how much we can play aaround with it
You might find something online for cheap. I mean I doubt a generic 75% wrist rest would be significantly different in width.
thats good point i could just look for wrist rests in general and compare the width
my rgb not working on my tenz kb đ
It's dimmed down in the default TenZ profile. Is it just dim, or like not working at all?
Probably want to reach out to support if it's straight up not working at all.
not working at all
no matter which profile im on, it was working earlier today which is the thing.
I ran into an issue with the RGB linking button doing weird stuff on the TenZ profile. Had to toggle it even though it said it was off, it was on.
whats that button
Looks like a little chain link next to the slider.
oh yea, mine is already on
Man this is so frustrating, idk why it just suddenly stopped working.
this is gonna sound stupid, but the tenz keyboard backlights aren't fixed to only red correct?
no
u can change it
Whatâs the best kind of switch puller to use with the 80HE? Claw-type pullers keep breaking my switches.
ordered my tenz keeb should be here in 2 days anything i should look out for and or do when i first get it?
Try to not throw it at your monitor, and get wootility
is there anything i need to do besides what the website says
Does anyone know some switches that sound like milky yellows but that work for HE modules?
i have nothing in mind right now besides give it all your love and care
Good luck finding true thocky HE switches. I've heard GravaStar UFO are close-ish, but they're pretty pricey.
why does my keyboard randomly stop working and only works if i restart my pc
Finally got my tracking number for the TenZ
You need aura for it to work
Is there a sound test for the tenz?
Yes, on Wooting's YouTube page.
Well I think that's where I saw it.
I canât see one
try different usb port or wire
wdym different wire
i don't think i have any others
I guess I made myself a liar. I know I heard a sound test of it on YouTube. I just can't find it in my history.
Oh, its on Wooting's website. https://wooting.io/wooting-80he-tenz towards the bottom of the page.
On their website
My tenz finally has a label đł
i wanna change the stabilizers, couldnt find anywhere the sw knight v4's, hows the durock v3 compared to it
stabs dont differ in quality
but with better made stabs, likw knights, the lubing process is much easier and you dont need a thicker lube on top of using a thinner lube
durocks and wooting's stabs need 2 types of lubes in comparision
thank you a lot
Try searching for âSwagkeys Knight V4â
My tenz 80he was supposed to arrive at the latest 2 hours ago, but seems to be stuck most likely at customs đ
why does the tenz 80he sound worse than the normal 80he sound test on the website?
likely different recording setups because i wasn't around to record the 80he back then
the original 80he sound test likely has more proximity effect helping boost the low bass sounds and hide chatter a bit more
i recently ordered the tenz 80he a couple days ago and i really hope it sounds way better irl than the yt video
also make sure your video is playing in full res, some people accidentally play their videos in lower res which downgrades sound
i think it sounds fairly close to the youtube video, but less loud of course since the volume is boosted a tad for the recording to be heard more easily
I used the keycaps of a red dragon custom keyboard the name of the keycaps are hyper X pudding keycaps
Are the tenz keycaps cherry profile or oem profile?
cherry
nice
does the keyboard have the same modding potential as the normal 80he and possibly the 60he v2?
yeah, you can change the parts just like the regular 80he if you wish
although we upgraded the plate and switches from stock 80he already
if i do decide to mod the keyboard in the future, what are your recommendations to make it sound more "thocky?"
I just got my Wooting 80HE Tenz takeover today and i made a sound test vid yall can go check it out! https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Jco43kHsh4I
Typing test of the Wooting 80HE Tenz Takeover Edition.
Let me know what you think about it.
â¨ď¸ Keyboard: Wooting 80HE Tenz Takeover
đ§ Headphones recommended
#wooting #wooting80he #tenz #keyboard #mechanicalkeyboard #typingsound #keyboardsound #shorts
honestly it starts with switches normally. HE has limits to how thocky you can make things
the thockiest HE keyboard is still less thonky than a $50 'thocky' mx keyboard because of switch sound differences
at some point people just accept that the types of keyboards sound different
in case of tenz keyboard he picked fr4 plate for fps performance instead of worrying about thocky sound specifically, because he prioritised performance in game over chasing sound profile
tbh the wooting 80he doesnt feel that thocky to me. more clacky if anything. also the spacebar is very loud lol
per my video
yeah thocky isn't really a thing in any he keyboard. it's just a buzzword tiktok/youtube uses to get clicks, but none of them are all that thocky compared to mx switch keyboards
it sounds really good imo, way better than my 60he+
the spacebar is loud tho
most people saying thocky don't really even know what it means
gotcha gotcha
newer keyboards like the tenz do sound 'cleaner' though because the old switches like lekker v1 had a lot more chattery plastic rattle
compared to my custom mechanical keyboards the sound is average to me haha
tenz has benefit of getting tikkens stock vs. the og 80he prebuilt is on lekker v2 still
Split spacebar 80HE wen?
not soon enough. We've been begging product team for split 80he for ages
According to the poll on the site, only 20% of 60HeV2 buyers wanted split
that's really high for new format
Think some were confused on the cherry profile since it doesn't mention it on the page and I think the measurements were copy pasted from the 80HE page
like traditionally split would be maybe 1-2% probably, so 20% was quite nice to see
Are there key spacing differences between the 60He and 80He? Read somewhere that the 60He is slightly more crammed up than the 80
Although that might be BS
nope same spacing
just one is missing tilde key and f row/arrows
but the spacing of everything else is same
there are some formats that do squeeze the keys a bit more than a full 80he type format, but we don't use them
um can someone help me putting in the pcb into the case?
Beacuse of the jst cable the pcb gets wobbly and doesn't fit
Iâm very happy we get a full size right shift key on the 80HE.
Bend very gently the jst cable, it is more easier to put the pcb in case after that, it is the most difficult part of mounting
If my wooting80he doesnât turn on rgb on my pc and laptop while having brightness at 100%, is the hardware cooked?
The tenz collab one
do you have tackyon mode on? or did change any rgb settings, and did you make sure you saved it on your active profile?
Tested it with and without tachyon, same result of no lighting. Tried to âpaintâ and switch around in my rgb settings, no fix from that. I saved like 30 times the past couple of hours trying to troubleshoot this lol. Iâve also tested my 60he cable while also testing different usb port with both cables and it was the same result. I did the troubleshooting and full reset as well. I donât use any rgb programs.
I think Iâve tried every single troubleshooting method but let me know if there is anything else I could do.
The RGB was working just fine when I got the keyboard delivered and played on it for a couple hours, came back after I ate and itâs been like this since.
can you make a post in #1019755933959733258 and summarize a bit what youve tried etc. and maybe add some pictures or videos :)
Sorry if I broke any rules, Iâve already posted it in there earlier today.
aah no worries! if youve already done that great :)
Thank you for your help, all is appreciated. Do you by chance know if I ask for a replacement keyboard that I can at least utilize this one till the new one arrives then send it back? I heard for the PCB, they let you switch it first after arriving and then ask to send the defect PCB back.
Support will be able to answer that question, if you reach out to support on our website.
Sounds good, thank you!
Hello are there several ISO module by language or are there all the same? When I try to order I just see Wooting 60HE v2 Module ISO Split and not 60HE v2 Module ISO Split French ?
Oh all ISO are the same?
That's what I said.
Ayy
Bump
We balling
Fingers crossed đ¤ I will get my board tomorrow đ
I know the chance of getting a signed one is pretty much 0.5 percent, but still - one can dream.
I get mine between tomorrow and the 9th
Yeah I already got my UPS tracking, and notification đ
After all, Sweden is almost a neighbor to the Netherlands. đłđą Both geographically and linguistically.
Ye i still dont have sadly I buyed mine Sunday. But i life in the netherlands đ
Verschrikkelijke! đ (âfĂśrskräckligtâ in Swedish)
Nice, any of yall received it yet? Mine arrived in my country already think i will receive it in a day or 2
i got mine on saturday

đ˘
is it normal that my arrow key starts to sound wobbly or smt after i clicked it very often (i play geometry dash alot)
Only if you're hitting them so hard, they're taking damage.
you mean like full blone smashing the keys or just take the keyboard to your desk and hope it dont break đ
im pressing it lightly, on my old wooting i did press it very hard tho
@elfin fossil
o nice
Which keyboard?
Tenz his keyboard
Razer Huntsman
oh mine is 05-12 february
Ok, you know the thing TenZ said in the video about taking his keyboard into bed with him? I may or may not have done something similar myself. I am a huge keyboard/switch enthusiast đ
It just changed tho. It was first from 4 to 9 feb
i have the same
Thank you!! How many signed are there actually
100/20 000
Quite a low chance of getting a signed one
But you beat dose ods, firee!! đĽ
now sell it on ebay and buy 2 more
đ
Haha
Omg what
mhm
Canât believe it rn
Your just him, what else can i say đââď¸
Please don't show your serial number. đ
Has anyone received a signed one yet?
someone just sent it in general
That's literally who I replied to, yes đ
So that makes two people so far on Discord afaik.
give me the signed one

If I get one you best delete this đ
@buoyant solstice Question with the tenz keyboard due to it being limited time how does it work with getting a replacement if its damaged/faulty
TenZ also said that the golden signed keyboards are rarer than the silver ones
Theres gold and silver ? 100 between the two colours?
yes
since u said that for example 80 silver 20 gold?
he said that he used the silver pen more
I dont think we have an exact number on the colour but yes
yeah that was example
@bright jewel can you answer this?
its probably a little more even i think, maybe like 40/60 ratio but cool nonetheless
We have spare parts on hand.
Its my first time buying a wooting do you send out parts or replace the keyboard?
Depends on the issue.
If I had a faulty keyboard personally wouldnt feel confident enough to replace parts in the keyboard myself
Wooting still has spare parts for the wooting one, their first keyboard that hasnt been sold in a long time
Youâll be fine
No im talking about the tenz one
Ok?
They will have spare parts around and the pcb of tenz 80he is basically the same except it has different preloaded profiles
Oh ok thanks I was just curious seen a few people having issues with their tenz one
We will of course eventually run out of spare parts. Can't last forever. But the Tenz is an 80HE at its core. If there's a sensor issue, that's easy to fix - We can just ship a new 80HE module down the road. If the case or keycaps get damaged, then it's a bit more tricky as time goes on.
Hey i spilled tea on half of my keyboard
what do I do? I unplugged it and turned it the other way
Screw it apart and get ready to deep clean it. Gonna need some IPA.
Are you experiencing an issue with your keyboard and are unsure of the cause? This article provides a step-by-step process to troubleshoot a Wooting keyboard. S
30/70 or 40/60
gold/silver
idk what IPA means or PCBA
After using the TenZ for a few hours last night and like the past 5 hours this morning, I'll say for gaming, I really like the lighter switch force on the switches on the TenZ. But for general typing, its too light for my taste and I had to almost max out actuation distance to stop constant accidental keypress entries. I like the feel of the FR4 plate a lot and ended up ordering one for my other 80HE.
isopropyl alcohol
IPA is isopropyl alcohol. PCBA is the keyboard's circuitry board.
what if I dont have alcohol
Buy some

Have you gotten any reports regarding Tenz one loading profiles slowly? I own both 80he and tenzâs one is significantly slower.*
what if I just flip it around and let it dry
will that work? im not a good keyboard expert to fully fix and take aparty everything bro
You're still going to have tea stains in between electronics. You might as well throw out the board at that point, if you're not going to try and clean it out.
Even worse if you put any sugar in it.
i put a bit of honey in the tea
wait
I spilled only that many keyboard
on that many
fk
Ive sent you a link with general 'what to do's' if you got liquid on your kb, its up to you to follow it and trying to safe your keyboard
You need to screw it apart, separating the layers and ensure each layer is clean and dry - Especially the PCB where the components sit.

Kind of playing with fire using something with electronics that have moisture in them.

is this good enough
lesson learned, i cant be trusted with liquids around my setup. this happened twice now, my last keyboard got also covered in tea
Letting it "dry out for 48 hours" like that video doesn't remove the moisture in the layers between the plate and the PCB. That may work for a cheap keyboard. The Wooting is multiple layers.
Just taking it apart and cleaning it would be the easiest thing
and this
Plus, if there was honey in that tea. It won't ever truly dry. There will be sediment until you remove it.
if I let it dry till tomorrow and then tomorrow take it apart is that fine
im too sleepy rn
It will probably be fine if its sitting unused. Just don't use it until you thoroughly clean it.
I would at the very least take it out of the case and put it on a towel or something

i know buddy
oh, just wanted to give u a heads up
planned a whole build around running all white rgb on an 80HE, finally get it put together and my white is... pink. Tried dropping the red levels and it's still bad. Submitted a ticket asking if I got a bad pcb and was told this is normal and will be fixed in a future tba firmware patch đ¤ˇââď¸ anybody else's this bad??
this is quite normal because the pcb doesnt have a white LED
its always a game to balance the colors since one of them might be stronger than the rest
you can turn down the R value by 5 and you can get closer to white
is the cable gonna be usb c?
Hello guys cannot wait to receive my 60he v2
I mean I get that, I know white is just a combination of the rgb but to be this bad??? Itâs not even slightly white, itâs pink pink. I had to turn the red down to 205 to even get close to white and even then it is still ever so slightly pink. This is almost making me think there is an issue with my green and blue ledâs. Itâs sitting right next to a keychron numpad that I also have set to all white and it is outputting it with no calibration
There is no white, only your eyes being fooled by bright lights.
Every batch of LEDs are slightly different, and there's no way to universally achieve the whitest whites across all boards. But we do what we can to get closer - Beyond that you will need to reduce blue and red.
đ
logan paul aint giving his money for fwee
why?
keyboard came in yesterday!
Hope they will react on my support ticket as well for my TenZ keyboard đ
im so excited for mine
I got my tracking today đŽ
Niceee its a very nice board!
is it a good upgrade from wooting 60he+ , and are the switches wobbly
Just got mine right now, so excited â¤ď¸
no not at all, its lowkey like butter
and an upgrade to wooting 60he+ i wouldnt know because this is my first wooting keyboard
ive been wanting one for 5 years
New to this situation, so my apologies, but using the Tikken on my board, I've noticed something while pressing my D key where it's a rough press, especially while pressing down on the right side. Like a scraping. I'm guessing to just replace the switch, but is it just some kind of spring issue?
I think it might be a spring issue so i would say to take out the switch and put some lube on it. If that doesn't work, just replace the switch with the extra ones included in the box
Thanks. I'll try replacing it and see how it goes. after double checking if its properly inserted too. Figured it would be the spring but was unsure since it's a new feeling.
all good, if all else fails, just ask in the community support channel for more help
Double thanks, just changed the switch and it feels like the others now. Seeing some lube on the bottom already.
does anyone has the 80he plastic black with stock switches
If my wooting 80he tenz collab rgb doesn't work on neither my pc and laptop while having brightness at 100% in cycle mode and no interference from another rgb application. It's probably a hardware issue that i should address to Wooting CS right?
yeah maybe
does it come with a white cable??? đđ
oh no thats my own cable
i ordered a black coiled cable its coming in soon
nono they do dw lmao this is what they give u
i personally like coiled cables better tho which is why i dont use the one they provide
oh errr ew
same
just got my tenz keyboard but how do I know if I have a signed one?
Turn it around and look
Iâve looked up and there is like no videos on a unboxing of that keyboard
ahh so the under side of the keyboard would be signed right?
Yes
ahh ok I thought it was the lil post card LMAO didnt get a signed one sadly still looks great
interesting to see that no creator has come out with a video but from using it since 3pm today. its a very solid build. From all the features you get from a regular 80he. The switches feel buttery smooth. The software from wooting to customize the keyboard is very good and have made my own profiles for val, bf6, and arc. All in all im very impressed with this keyboard and would recommend it to others
Hell yea mine got shipped today so hopefully in a couple of days it will be here

I'm just saying I've never had this issue with any other rgb on a keyboard. I feel like the calibration or quality control for (at least my batch) of 80he is really off, especially for a $300 keyboard. Not much I can do at this point tho I guess
Where can I listen to 80HE sound tests?
The TenZ sound test is on the Wooting TenZ info page. There's multitudes of regular 80HE sound tests on YouTube.
nice just got it too
Shit, actually the more I type on it, the more I like it
youtube
the tenz 80he is godly, best kb i've ever used
just got my 80he went with gateron jade ultras... so smooth
damn fr? mine comes on monday
There is though. You can keep adjusting the colour values.
Ye, it's awesome! I'm having mall learning curve since I'm coming from mechanical but it's so smooth
For me like putting on a pair of glasses the first time lol
sas i dont think i will get my keyboard today xD. Its code red here in the netherlands xD
Is it normal to hear a sticky sound from some of the keys? I notice this sound after the key has bottomed out and is returning to normal position
which?
The arrow keys and some other random keys scattered throughout
default switches?
prolly bad factory lubing
Tikken, raw zinc case if that matters
maybe it will settle after a bit of use
Yea weâll see
oh wth ur video was on my recommended lol
is it because of the split spacebar or...
I take back what I said. There's a learning curve with the new tikkenz switches and cherry style keycaps
rly no way haha
yeah, loved the video <3
thank you đ¤
Mine is out for delivery đ Picking it up after work
That just sacrifices brightness. I have to drop red to 185 and blue to 225 just to get close to white and even then it's still muddy. On the left is my 60he and on the right is my 80he, both set to 255,255,255 in wootility. That doesn't seem off to you??
Brightness will always be "sacrificed" though. All we're doing in firmware is the same just behind the scenes.
We use incredibly bright LEDs.
This just seems excessive on my 80he and almost more like I have an issue with my green LED's. I have had many custom boards and even quite a few mass manufactured boards from Razer, Keychron, Logitech and even other Wootings and I've never had an issue getting it to output something at least close to white out of the box. I'm willing to chalk it up to I just got a bad board from an early run but it doesn't feel great to be told this is normal when it isn't even close to white, especially for a $300 keyboard
To be clear - We can only provide context and potential workarounds here. If you want to contact support about this, you will need to use the website.
I know and I do appreciate your help, I sent another message to support but was told initially this was normal hence I'm here lol. Was just trying to see if this really is the norm for the 80he from others who have one or if I got a bad pcb
I can try make my lights white as soon as my board arrive if you'd like, I currently have a razer which blackwidow which can go 'white white', but I've never used had a wooting or had experience with them
Should come in an hour or two
According to most reports the Tikken switches get really bright and have great color accuracy.
Switches don't have LEDs.
yess
Why not? :(
switches have tmr sensors đ
Because that's not how switches work. The LEDS are on the PCB.
I was trying to meme and then I realised once again you cannot read my mind, sorry Mansen. Preciate you
Ok poor choice of wording haha. They have really good shine-through đ
Donât pretend yâall didnât know what I meant đ
Keyboard just arrived I think I'm gonna pass out đ
my 80 comes tmrw im so hyped đĽš
Pics or it didnât happen!
Sameeeeee
So my Tenz 80 arrived yesterday. Itâs my first Wooting board. Iâll admit, I donât get the hype. Decent board but underwhelming for me. And yeah, I will be sending it back. Gonna stick with my current he board. I appreciate Wooting but this board just isnât for me.
Out of curiosity, what did you expect and what did you experience?
How do you know you got a signed one if you got one?
He signed the underside of the boards
There will be a big sign
(On the bottom side)
you will see a big tenz signature on the back of the board

What is your current board that you'll be sticking with?
Can I use a USB 2.0 port and cable and still use the full potential of my 80he?
dumb question but why is the 80he tenz discounted if I put one in my cart after buying it
was like ÂŁ210 when I originally got it
yes
It probably doesn´t have keycaps selected.
its because taxes are not calculated until further in the checkout process
yeah thatâd make sense đ my bad it kept coming up with a price adjustment popup, ty
there isnt a non-keycaps version available
oh
tenz is a ready-to-game board, it comes with everything on it as is
UK duties đ
I think the TenZ is great and have no intention of returning it, but I ended up going back to my 80HE in the Zinc case.
Can always take your entire tenz module and stick it into your zinc case đ
Best of both worlds eh
just yoink the zinc case
I was thinking about just buying a Zinc case for it.
Would look nice inside a red gt80 as well
I've been modding my "original" 80HE. That may be why I like it more.
if zinc white is still available in your outlet store it's literally best deal in our shop
i know we were running low on stock of those though
hard to argue with $55 for literal zinc case + the fancy travel case that comes with it
I ate my zinc keyboard and got zinc poisoning
Itâs here. No signature, sadly but wow - a marked improvement over the standard 80HE in both sound and typing feel. The Lekker Tikken are very stable (almost no stem wobble) and they have upped the lubing of the stabilizers for sure. Very happy đ
$55 includes both zinc case and the travel case?
I ate my tenz keyboard and turned into tenz
yeah, our zinc white case in outlet store comes with the travel case for packaging
it's why it's secretly crazy good value
should I buy lekker tikken switches for my basic 80he
or is it borderline pointless
nothing wrong with switch upgrade, i think it's best way to improve overall feel/sound of 80he actually, because the old lekker v2 are not as good as tikkens and other more newer switches for sound and feel
Hows the keyboard im getting mine tmr
wheres the outlet store?
damn đ i missed out
no idea what your definition of overlubed is, you can see the lubing job in our sound test of tikkens though
order is already on its way with tenz 80he and case
i'd say the tikkens are as lubed as you'd want to go without going into overlube land, but i don't know what your level is
Itâs the 80He, but better! The Tikken switches are a great improvement over the v2. And the TenZ ones are lighter and springier.
the v2 had overlubed switches in the way where they felt like they literally had increased travel time and heavy resistance while pressing the keys
it got better with time, but thats because the lube basically started to come off after about a year of use
never had a wooting so this will be my 1st haha
Youâre in for a treat
@midnight iron this is my "limit"
I mean increased spring-back time
I ordered the White Zinc case. It kind of makes sense to swap cases. Most of the keys in my current Black zinc case are white.
i can't tell much from that because that's such a personal level and feel thing
you can visually see how much lube is on the switches in our short though and decide for yourself: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/Ko0CE0cM-yY

well how do base tikkens compare to the base v2's in that manner? because the v2's were just barely overlubed in my eyes
do you have this of the v2s
unfortunately not no
i hope so!
I have the base Tikken in my 80HE. I like them considerably more than the V2 60's.
They did an amzing job with the TenZ for sure!!!
I feel like the TenZ Tikken are extremely stable. The base Tikken have some stem wobble, but it's not bad compared to most other switches.
Might have to do with the Tenz having cherry keys where the stock 60 HE V2 has OEM profile keys that sort of sit a bit higher
They don't feel the same to me. I have both.
I didn't think about keycap variance. I'm not using the stock keys on my 80HE Zinc, but the keys were a budget-ish product.
OEM and Cherry are basically identical. Such a small difference.
I think this is a strong case of placebo from the lighter* springs.
Yep, put a stock keycap on and there's virtually no wobble. My bad.
Sorry of this is the wrong channel to ask, but are knobs still in development?

hey, just read the modding FAQ and now im more confused than before.
i need arrow keys and some function keys so 80HE it is but the v2 switches sound like hot garbage at least the last time i used them (and the stability is kinda meh aswell ... )
i would like a heavy case and a non wobly keys ...
would my best bet be buy the build urselfe 80he with the zinc case and tikken switches ? or straight to owlad ti switches ? kinda hard to judge/decide without having the final product in/on hand/fingertips
or would the tenz edition just be the play
The tenz 80 has the tikken switches it it's still available
if you want tikken switches then the tenz is a good choice as it's basically an upgraded 80he with tikken switches and a stiffer plate
your other option is to buy an 80he module and just pick your own switches - there's a ton to choose from
if you want tikken switches though the tenz is great because it's basically within $10 of buying the parts separately, so there's practically no upcharge for the special tenz edition parts
are the switches clear ? seem to be red in photos wich would fuck the the rgb goodness if u dont love red/black theme
ah nvm its freaking ansi layout
they are black but have a clear diffuser
oh you want iso?
yeah then your pick is to go 80he module then pick your own switches
(ew iso) obligatory post
german pilled .... and using tons of diffrent keyboards daily ... so kinda forced to stay in one to not fuck myselfe half of the day with wrong inputs ...
Just finished assembling it - was very easy. White zinc alloy with lekker tikken switches. Love the sound. Cheers!
Ugh that looks so nice I might have to buy a white one in the future
With wrist rest
Ooohh what a nice surprise!
Very clean!
I have my alloy white with PBTFANS X-RAY Keycaps
đđđ

MY LORD the factory lube is amazing on these Lekker Tikkens (TenZ version). In the middle of the keystroke you feel like your finger is floating, that's how smooth it is!!! The added stability and improved stem wobble contributes to an absolutely AMAZING keystroke together with the FR4 plate.
It's almost otherwordly feeling, and this is coming from a mechanical keyboard and switch snob. Extremely well done!
Hi everyone! I just ordered my Wooting 80HE and Iâm super excited to join the family. I went for the Zinc Alloy version with the ANSI layout. While I wait for it to arrive, I wanted to ask for some pro-tips:
** Firmware:** Do you recommend jumping straight into the Beta firmware for the latest features (Snap Tap/Rappy Snappy), or is Stable the way to go right now?
** Mounting:** For those who already have it, whatâs your favorite mounting style? Gasket for the flex or Screw-in for a more solid feel?
** Gaming Profiles: **Does anyone have a "must-have" share code or specific settings for Valorant, CS2, League of Legends...?
** ANSI Transition**: I'm not very familiar with the ANSI layout (coming from ISO). For those who made the switch, was it easy to adapt? Any tips for typing comfortably?
**Zinc Alloy Case:** Since I got the Zinc version, is there anything specific I should know regarding its weight or care?
** Maintenance/Modding: **How is the factory lubing on the latest batches? Should I get some Krytox 205g0 for the stabs or are they good out of the box?
Also, if thereâs anything else you think a new owner should know or any "hidden gems" in the Wootility settings, please let me know! I'm all ears.
Thanks in advance! Can't wait to try this beast. âĽď¸ đ¤
hiiiiii can someone help me? is it possible to enable PER APP profiles???
Officially? Not yet.
https://github.com/ShayBox/Wooting-Profile-Switcher
But this exists.
Itâs extremely easy to adapt to ANSI. I came from ISO-Nordic and I almost canât go back at this point. ANSI is so much better for FPS with the large left shift key. The only thing I donât like is the puny Enter key, haha.
you are like the fourth person coming in with an entirely AI generated question list, some of them being easy to answer yourself or irrellevant but i will answer anyway:
- beta or stable are both fine, both have snap tap or rappy snappy available.
- gasket mount is the only one available, screw in is not a thing with 80he
- the profile stuff is mostly preference and tweaking things yourself to your liking
- ANSI has one fewer key than ISO which can be jarring (next to the left shift) you get used to the enter location quickly but since some other keys are shifted those can be difficult
- not really any specific cleaning advice, just try to keep it clean and away from corrosive liquids (cola for example)
- lube on the switches is fine, whether the stabs need a retune is something you need to see for yourself.
Sorry about that! My English is quite poor, so I used some help to translate my thoughts and make sure I was using the right technical terms. I really appreciate you taking the time to answer anyway, especially the clarification about the mounting and the stabilizers. It helps a lot! Thanks!
I totally agree with you on the Left Shift! Thatâs actually one of the main reasons I decided to make the jump to ANSI. Having that extra space for the pinky during intense FPS sessions seems like a game-changer. Iâll probably miss the big Enter key for a few days, but it sounds like a fair trade-off! Thanks for the insight.
YOU TOTALLY ROCK
anyone know a good replacement key/advanced key for fn?
i wish i didnt had to use right hand for fn
Your English is perfectly fine, by the way.
Thanks! To be honest, I do use AI to help me structure my questions. My English isn't great, and using it allows me to express myself clearly and get concise answers, which is exactly what I was looking for.
I mean that is perfectly fine by me. I use AI every day to improve my productivity at work.
Youâre right. I use it because my English is limited, and while it helps me express myself, I know it sometimes messes up or adds questions that might be obvious or redundant. I'm still learning about the product, so I'd rather ask a 'stupid' question than miss something important!
Using AI for translations is one of the best uses that exist
Large language models are good at language đ
you werent kidding about the AI generated question list đ
anyone got a signed tenz collab yet? im curious to see what it looks like
got mine but its not signed sadly
iirc there are 3 known signed
crazy
how many total units are there again? signed or unsigned?
20k units and 100 signed iirc
damn alright that was way rarer than i was expecting lol, makes me feel better about not getting one
Why does it already have so much dust on it
dust magnet and my pc case is open so blows air around
My order got delyaed twice đĽ
For anyone that plays CS can you use Rapid Trigger without getting banned?
It's just SOCD/Rappy Snappy that you can't use in CS
cool thanks!
hi
any other games you can't it in?
When I forgot to turn mine off, it just disconnected me from the match but it wasn't a ban or anything. Reconnected right after no problems
Not that I'm aware of
Good morning EU anybody using the Gateron Switch Puller (Version 2) for wooting80he? how is it?
my wootinz tenz arrives within 2 hoursđĽ đ
so given that wooting 80he tenz collab is out if I already have a wooting 80he could I just buy the parts from the collab?
No. Parts are not sold separately. đ
is there any major differences between the hardware of the 60he v2 and the tenz 80he? idk enough about keyboards to rly get that from the website haha
Same performance. Different mounting mechanism, plate material and switch weight.
oh rip nvm js saw the announcement
i thought so, but good to know, thank you!
kind of just looking for the fr4 plate
Hey
Iâve ordered today like this
Some1 can tell me that it will come assembled or I have to do it myself ? đŤŁ
Gotta assemble it yourself. You ordered a module - That's how it works.
I see no keycaps
Keycaps, right. That's what I meant to say. Feck đ
Ah thanks Iâve was thinking the same , I have my own keycaps Traitors Kabuki
Lesssgo
It's really simple and the official wooting youtube has step by step video guides
But I stress that it's really simple
I ve had few custom kebs so it wonât be a problem if needed Iâll make some mods
My keyboard just arived but im at work so i need to weet until 17:00 for my keyboard
take an extended lunch break to drive home for it
đ cant sadly
But be home sooner now so thats better
Enjoy! I found the TenZ takeover to be a HUGE improvement over the standard version.
Imagine yourself tonight with this keyboard đ
the Tenz keeb is so clean i love it already
Should i transplant the Tenz into my black zinc case? Currently has a standard board with jade pros
I donât have to imagine it đ
the 80he's have joined the outlet store!
https://wooting.io/outlet
good stuff
when us stock
đ imaginationđ
I have to confess. I did not really know who tenz was before this keyboard
That makes two of us.
Three. But he did a damn fine job designing the specs!
I didn't buy it because of the person who collab'd it though. I bought it for the aesthetics and what it came with. It could have been anyone and I would have still bought it.
Yeah the specs fit me perfectly, thatâs why I bought it.
Hoping for the start of summer, but there's a lot that can change between now and then.
The bulk of our returned products have historically been returned to our Dutch fulfillment center (or more accurately, a barn in the countryside for long term storage until we started this refurbishment process) so there are far fewer units available for refurbishment in the US and no nearby Wooting Team to make it happen
Wooting US team when

Problem with hiring in the US is that every state is different... If we could just "hire in the US" then it'd be worth investigating. But it's not... It's "you can hire in specifically this state" and then have to deal with all kinds of totally different employment regulations and requirements for each state
You hire in Germany
Indeed
For the right person, it's worth going through the hassle to set up the administrative capacity to hire in their region. Then it becomes simple to hire more people from there.
I highkey would like to join the woot team, I will try to apply soon
I should really apply too
something might disqualify me however I have atypical taste in switch
I like silent switches đ
keyboard knowledge is not part of our hiring requirements
its about fitting the job and personality
if youre part of HR you dont need any technical knowledge on IT
just HR knowledge
and you can always learn things along the way, if youre willing ofc

ye most people prob learnt their keyboard stuff while working for us
Do you take interns
I will see you soon
Generally no, with the exception being if you come to us saying "I have a skillset that enables me to complete this project which will add value to Wooting in this way, and I can complete it within the scope of an internship"
there is an open call where you can apply for any position really if you think you can truly add something valuable to our team.
Thank you for your answer Mark!
Is your rendering of products/concepts in house or contracted?
Wait I thought I was in #đŹâgeneral , sorry
In house
Thank you for your answer!
Anyone with the white zinc v2 case? I'm curious what people think of it
I have a skillset that allows me to crunch effortlessly and effectively in a fast paced environment. This will add value to the company as this will improve logistics times and reduce the stress of the rest of the team. This can be done without the need for an internship as i am a certified professional.
Hired for the newly created role, Director of Crunch
Come on, let us Europeans have Wooting. đ We are already heavily nerfed for keycaps and whatnot with the ISO layout hahahaha
Nice oneeeee
Waiting for my support to make my TenZ "complete" xD
looking for a good but cheap coiled cable
when mod?
na thats only a few countries that use silly ISO layouts
but you can have an iso wooting
discord mod?

?
I use ANSI anyway đ
the correct layout

Yeah other than the puny Enter key it is far superior
youre always free to send me or Mark your interest and motivation to becoming a mod

My motivation is to rule with an iron fist

i dmâd you
gore mod?
I can recommend, gore good mod
(please don't bully me)
There he is
Sadly no sign đ
jeez the reaction time of the keyboard is craze
my first he keyboard
now we wait for the reply
tbh you really good guy here even when bulling me
I need to look out that i wont excedently click on thing hahaha
How to clean wooting 80HE palm rest?
Ye tenz his keyboard
The price isn't that different tho. And I liked the color of the keyboard
i dont bully anyone idk what youre talking about
uhhhh
okay boss
Hello guys,
I'm totally new in the magnetic keyboard universe, just learned it existence and naturally, I came to know Wooting.
I made a lot of researchs but I need a final advice please about the build I'm going for :
- Wooting 80 HE Module
- Layout ISO French
- PCR Plastic Case
- First I was going to choose the Lekker Tikken Medium but now I'm aiming for the Gateron Jade Pro (Dual SMD > classic right ?)
- I'll continue my researchs on keycaps since we are very limited in ISO French but if I don't find anything good, I'll go with the Double-shot PBT Keycap Set from Wooting
- Gateron stabilizer for space/shift/enter (since I'm ordering the switchs on their website)
- Some foam pads (my next research but I'll probably try those later)
- Some tape of course
Or easier and I take the Tenz, swap 2-3 keycaps + Wootility remap and bet on my muscle memory to remember where I need to press
Could a kind soul help me choose the right path please ?
Thank you !
please dont spam it
is anyone able to send me their/a wooting 80he iso german layout (thereâs lit none online)
It's a bit unclear what you want. Do you mean a picture how to put on the keycaps, or a wootility profile?
keycap layout
Have you considered looking at the QR code on the 80HE box? https://wooting.io/wooting-80he-quickstart-guide#installing-keycaps select German, obviously
thanks
Don't get jade pros
Gravastar UFO ? đ¤
They're not great and you'll have a better experience with tikken medium
I don't suggest buying 120 usd switches on a whim, no
With the module, the tikken mediums are 50% off
Great if not fantastic value
They were my first choices before seeing lot of people saying they prefer Jade Pro over Tikken Medium
Yes Tikken medium are at 25⏠and Jade Pro about 60$
I think jade pros are outdated
Jade pros over the old lekkers, sure
But not over tikkens medium
This isn't just lekker tikkens because it's a wooting made list
They are genuinely good
But is it a fact that Lekker Tikken Medium > Lekken 60 v2 ?
I don't see those in the list despite being in the default build
As a fellow consumer I wholeheartedly recommend the lekker tikken medium as the best switch wooting sells directly
The lekker tikken mediums are the newest wooting switches
Regarding your question, night and day, yes
I personally run gravastar UFOs and sure, if you're willing to gamble on 120 usd, go for it. They're great. But I also own lekker tikken medium and they're much more value/price to me
With the discount they give you I'd even say buy them as a backup even if you go for something else
A couple of corrections for the sake of accuracy, 87 UFOs are ~90$ and it's not a gamble now, tried and tested.
Nice to know, thank you
Coming from mecanical keyboard, I think it can be only better in any way (as long it doesn't make too much noise so my wife decide to kill me)
I'll take the Tikken Medium
I call it a gamble if you haven't had an HE before, does that make more sense?
You don't know what you like yet imo
I love my UFOs
:D
But they are very distinct in their profile imo
Should I buy something else or Wooting 80HE module + Tikken Medium + PBT keycaps + PCR case + wrist rest are enough ?
That'll set you up nicely imo
So no need to get the torento mod kit, the tape mod or pads/foam ?
No
Thank you
I want to get the gravastar ufo but out of stock
where r my goat switchses ur ice ultras
The UFO seem to be unicorns. Or if you can get them from other places they want like $27 for 10 of them.
At least that's my experience in the US.
I don't know if I'll honestly find an HE switch I like more price to performance as much as the Lekker Tikken Mediums. I've bought multiple other sets and always go back to the Tikken. But I don't have to worry about having a lack of switches if there's ever a HE switch apocalypse.
Guta i have to hold an order
If i want to change switches ?
Iâve already Paid etc
hold your order, contact support and ask what you could do/what they can do for you
WellâŚ.
I should make deeper research bef Iâve made an order that my fault ikr- jist wanted to change L45 into L60
đ
uhhh might check your orders in some minutes it might be on hold idk
or hope some nice staff sees this and can tell you wether its on hold or not
In the worst case you have a 30day return no questions asked iirc
Can't wait for my keyboard to arrive.. but i typed the email in for the order wrong by one letter, andddd didn't check it before submitting𼲠- but its just for tracking right and wont need it for verifying my purchase when it arrives? if so coolio, but i'll still change it over when they email back
Okay Iâve send an e-mail but dunno what else can do
feels so nice bro
Yeah so you wait
If it had been a week or smth, I get it
Kk
looks amazing, cant wait for it to arrive
its so peak twin
feels so nice i love it sm
Dunno how ur local carrier works , typically if adres and name surname is fine should be okay even with wrong e-mail
IF the sent me L45 ill jist get used to em and fuck it
yep, just checked and it says that its on its way! I don't want to sound like that guy, but anyone know / remember how long it takes usually?
Depends of distance and carrier i guess
When your order ships, you can see the tracking information in the hub too.
On website its like 3-7 days
yeahh.. uhh i forgot to check the email and its the wrong one,
Wait for the answer and i guess they ill give an tracking number via e-mail
mine came in 3
Hey guys I just got my wooting 80 he but I have some problems with it
I get âan error occurred trying to save the profile to the keyboardâ and it keeps disconnecting an reconnect again without saving the settings. Can anyone help me fix this problem?
I already tried different usb ports and even the usb c port
I am using the web based software via google chrome
I may have a Wooting addiction problem... I just ordered more Tikken Medium and the 45cN springs. Gonna keep a set stock, going to make a lighter set that's hand lubed. Then I can compared between stock, TenZ and TenZ-esque.
just upgraded to the tenz 80he from the original 60he and all i can say is this feels much more premium
agreed
Hoping I don't regret buying the white zinc 80he over the tenz one lol
Think I'll be happy regardless just a shame those tenz boards aren't iso layout
only thing i wasnt ready for was the switch from 60 to 80 percent
Feel like you'll adjust quickly
I could never go to 60 personally I just miss the functionality too much of an 80%
iv used 60 for like 6 years so its a bit differeant lol
My wooting comes tomorrow, just hope my osume keycaps aren't too far out lol
They ship from Canada so might be a while on those đĽ
looking for good but cheap coiled cable. anyone got a recomendation?
does anyone know if anyone got a signed keyboard yet?
@teal basin i saw someone said they did on reddit but no proof
aw damn
hi guys, iâve been wanting to customize my wooting80 i just couldnât find any cases do you guys have an website recs?
Why is tachyon mode not enables on the tenz profile with 80HE tenz?
the other profiles have it available, but the first one that loads up doesn't because we were worried some people would hop into cs2 or similar game and get themselves kicked
that's why there's the other variants of the tenz profile loaded in the board as well, just not in the default slot
Tachyon mode doesnt kick u out from games- i think its socd and all that
tachyon in particular we kept off because some people have dodgy power usb issues, so it was safer to have it off in the profile 1 slot as well
in case they get stuck into some loop where their dodgy usb connection is bad and they can't adjust things because the board keeps bugging out with it on
yeah basically if you want the full bells and whistles options you can swap to the tenz ultra, where we took the safety rails off
Does anyone know if the last date on the estimate delivery date is the maximum delivery date?
they're just rough estimated ranges, not any firm maximum/min thing
I wouldn't count on it. I ordered on January 17 and it was supposed to arrive between January 19 and January 24. I haven't received anything yet.
For context Finn is experiencing a shipping issue* This is not normal.
Thank you for the feedbacks.
It's been three days but the order hasn't been packed yet. Hopefully it ships out soon
I waited 3 days before it was packed but i life in the netherlands so maby thats why its faster at my place xD
I need to learn to work with my keyboard haha. Its responding so fast that i sometimes exedentily click on things haha
change the actuation point to avoid accidental presses
ye will change that tonight xD
i kept it, still adjusting tho
Well, after more and more ALL LED blink and just the keyboard stop working sometimes, i dismantled to check the JST connection cable to PCB, it was in the air when i pull off the case.. so big chance all dc of the keyboard was because of this !
I pushed it with nails gently at max i can and re mount the keyboard, đ¤ hope it will fix it
mine was supposed to come next monday but came today so it might even come earlier than you expect !
Once you get used to it there is no going back hahaha
bro i was so used to 60% layout i keep thinking the tilde key is esc its so cooked lol
Hoping it reaches on Valentine's day đđť
i got no one to spend it with so im gonna q valo all day
How do I get a role if I have Wooting? I don't have a button on the Wooting hub
Yes you do.
Hello I just sent a message to the support to change my order I no longer want the split spacebar after thinking
After seeing the tristan pope review I think I prefer the normal one
Youâre in the wrong place about any split spacebar
Oh yeah sorry
If I wanna split my spacebar, Iâll do it the old fashioned way with gamer rage!
