Hello!

I have been having problems with my keyboard because the wootility tells me that keys are being actuated, and indeed that does about 0.1 - 04 mm. That is, if I set the actuation point to 0.1 randomly keys are pressed to infinity. I have tried all possible solutions but it doesn't work.

The list of things I have tried:
-Reset the keyboard to factory default.
-Set 1kz polling rate and disable the tachyon. Even with 1k and no tachyon, they trigger by themselves.
Re-enter each switch with its corresponding keycap.
-Clean the pcb with isopropyl alcohol in case something might be interfering.
-By chance I have tried to add 10 Jade Gateron switches from Wooting itself that I had to spare and I have not been able to see if I got this error. With the ones I have (TTC Kom) it clearly seems to actuate the keys by itself.
The keyboard works correctly, but the only annoying thing is that the keys between 0.1 and 0.4 are triggered by themselves.

Is there any other solution you can give me? Is the problem software? Or is it hardware?

I would try a quick full reset and not make any changes in Wootility, and try a different USB port on the PC (ideally be sure it's at least a USB 2.0 port) and then report back. If you still have issues, it's time to create a ticket.

I just got my 80HE. For some reason the backspace key feels kind of “heavy”. First I thought it could be the actuation point, but then I noticed on wootility that after I press the key it kind of gets stuck like it’s being clicked it from 0.1 to 0.3-0.4.
Anyone knows how to fix it? I feel only the backspace has this issue. It’s annoyingly heave to press it

Physically heavy? Maybe take the keycap off and press firmly down on the switch and stabilizers to ensure they're correctly seated into the plate. Then replace the keycap and see if it continues

You need to unscrew all screws on the bottom of the case, take off the top plate, lift the pcb and push JST cable in the connector.

Is it a bug that when I have Tachyon mode enabled with brightness unlocked I can't use the brightness shortcuts to go above 70%, despite it being unlocked in the RGB Settings?

Inspect:
I'll note that while the PCBA is coated with a light water resistance coating, it does not fully coat the PCBA, and it is advised that you thoroughly inspect the non-coated areas (USB C port area & programmer pins under the spacebar) for any residue or liquid

Clean:
If you notice anything that looks off or requires cleaning, I would recommend you use 70% IPA Or above (IsoPropyl Alcohol) with a soft brush or Q-Tip to clean the area. This is highly recommended if liquid is not water but a sugary drink or other, as it may leave residue when it dry's that could help corrode and exhibit problems at a later time if not cleaned.

Drying:
Leave the separate layers out to dry for half a day in a dry room. If it feels wet to the touch, leave it to dry for longer.

Reassembly & Test:
Reassemble the keyboard and plug it back in to see if it is working. If it shows any issues such as turning off/on repeatedly, it's best to unplug the keyboard and perform the Inspection & cleaning steps again.

Hey, I’m thinking about getting the Wooting 60HE+, but I’m not sure if it still makes sense now that the 80HE is out. The 80HE seems to have better specs like higher polling rate, newer switches and a few extra features. Do you think the 60HE+ is still worth it in 2025, or is the 80HE just the better choice overall?

I had to wait a long while to receive my Jade Pros from Gateron directly (I didn't raelize they were on Amazon or they were just sold out when I had looked, can't remember now).

I've gone with the wooting 80he module with the heavy frame thjat Wooting provides and their premium keycaps. This is the best feeling keyboard I've ever used. The switches are fantastic and I'm really happy with the build quality of the frame. I used a 60% for years with broken in novel cream switches that I thought were the bzbz. I was wrong, I'm a firm believer in the HE switches now.

It's fantastic. Coming from Cherry MX Reds on my previous keyboard, the feel of it is completely different. Extremely smooth.

Also smaller key is less prone to warping. Many cheaper PBT keycap sets actually have an ABS spacebar because a big hunk of PBT is difficult and expensive to make not warp.

Also technically probably quicker rebound on the space bar and less finicky sound. Space bars are pretty much the gauntlet for keeb sound profile

Whats the difference between optical and analog keybaords(i saw razer had 2 differnt versions of their keybaord)

With the stock or any other decent quality keycaps, long pole stabilizers won’t be necessary. Ti HEs > Raw HEs.

Nope, no need. Though, the slider in Wootility acts like % rather than the actual distance in millimeters. So for example with Ti HEs, if you set the actuation point to 3.9mm, they’d actuate at 3.4mm or so in reality.
