Compared to the L60's the Jades are indeed different, because they have an actuation way from 0.1-3.5mm and a closed bottom while the L60 have an open bottom and an actuation range from 0.1-4mm

I mean... they're two different physical layouts.
ISO has one more key, several keys are a different size. You'd need a set that includes both, and then frankenstein a layout in your OS to match what it says on the keycaps.

And really unless you’re esport player and you need to bring your keyboard everywhere the 75/80/TKL keyboard is just better.

I went through a lot of layouts in past 5 years and 75% is what I believe the most versatile, not taking half of your desk format for gaming. Pretty universal.

Keyboard is s tool. I would argue that if you have the needs for the extra keys in your work/ games then 80HE is given. Having to press extra keys to access your functions is just an hassle in the long run. If you got symmetry OCD then 60HE is more easy on the eyes compared to the 80HE.

@scenic delta I borrowed a friend 60% keyboard to try out for a week. Nothing can beat your own experience and preference. Try one out and your body will tell you what’s right and wrong

The sound is crisp, very much on point and comes with 0 delays using the dongle

there are a few things i dislike about them tho. You can run BT and the dongle at the same time, but the BT signal will always get the priority unless it recognizes a call signal

You use wootility either through the web based version or downloading it, we dont know the full list of effects you can choose for the 80he just yet as the led bar is new, you can use the color wheel here to select a color you want and then just simply click one of the keys on the board to change its color

Then effect layers are your fancy rgb lighting effects

Do we have any idea yet how 8khz polling on the keeb will affect games? Compared to 8khz mice for example.
I know 8khz polling on mice can cause incompatibility in the form of stutters in some games when you actually surpass 1khz. But 8khz mouse clicks (endgame gear for example) seem to not cause any issues.

Should we expect the keyboard to perform more comparably to 8khz mouse sensors where it’s actively sending 8khz for some duration? Or is it more like mouse clicks where it’s like 8khz scan rate and basically just an interrupt signal with 0.125ms latency?

to me it's gimmick 99.9% of time, the mouse may feel smoother but the 8khz on keyboard you won't notice any difference in the end of the day

Keyboards only send data when there's data to send, whereas mice send relative positional data constantly.

What that means is that 8khz on mice can cause performance issues due to CPU usage, but 8khz on a keyboard is extremely unlikely to have any performance impact.

I'm switching back between 1khz and 8khz mice and I can't really feel any improvements or the one with 8khz being superior. Shape is king, and good switch implementation.
