i mean iirc the shipping to canada is coming from the EU warehouses in NL, not from the US shipping centers, so it would take longer no?

7 days to from NL to China and I am stuck on label created for the 8th day in EU, that is crazy, hype is so gone I might as well return it when I get it
we got fucked by UPS. Anyone heard from wooting support yet? I've tried to reach out to them but still nothing, the waiting is getting really unnverving at this point. Seeing every other carrier doing their job while ups looks like they lost a lot of cargo.

You have to wait for 14 days (at least i do because of my country) before wooting starts reacting to bad delivery servise, but if i have to wait for 14 days im simply refunding it after this time period
it's 7 days in eu afaik. but again, the issue is at the country of origin, not the destination
and I don't want to sound too polemic, I understand policies. But this is a widespread problem with UPS affecting multiple users, it makes no sense having to wait for complaint to start an investigation one by one. it's been 8 days now since label creation, means that ups either lost ALL the packages (doesn't matter where they need to go) or they forgot about them, or they're being extremely lazy. 8 days is a bit too much even for laziness.

But if you look on wooting website you will find they have special delivery timeframes for each country how long you have to wait before your package will be counted as โlostโ. That is why i said i have to wait 14 days no matter what before doing anything at all.
If I were you I would write wooting now. They're very slow to respond these days, I opened a ticket on thursday because 4 days felt weird already, still no answers.

Experiencing a shipping problem, whether delayed or lost, sucks.
Unfortunately, there's nothing that can be done about it until enough time has passed that Wooting can be reasonably sure that the shipment is in fact lost and not just delayed.
Once that threshold is past, a replacement shipment can be sent at Wooting's expense.
Almost all "no first scan" errors such as what you're experiencing, resolve themselves once the parcel carrier gets their shit together. It's unreasonable to expect Wooting to ship a replacement keyboard when it is reasonably likely for the original to still deliver albeit later than expected.

I tried contacting them and they said "with absolute certainty" that it's the seller's fault because they didn't give the packate to UPS yet.
This is really, really frustrating.
We request the shipper (our fulfillment center) to start an investigation the moment the first sign of a potential problem presents itself, but an investigation being in progress doesn't resolve anything for the customer

an investigation in progress is peace of mind that at least the issue is being looked at. It sucks being in this situation for both parties, I think you can understand how important it is to know we're not being completely ignored.

other people ordering with ups this week got their package moving in a day, it might be that the fullfillment center forgot to give the package to ups. after all the only update we got was the "your package has been shipped" the moment the label was created.

that's not how it works unfortunately. The reality is you're seeing the people who might have mail errors or issues pop up here because they're the ones who are often wanting to come to discord to write about it
it would actually be nice if delivery issues like this were on our end because then it'd be more easily addressed/fixed, but just not much we can do but follow standard practices with occasional shipping issues that crop up on UPS/Fed Ex/other mail deliverers sides
reality is a certain percentage of mail delivery with almost any carrier will have issues due to many factors and we just have to accept and deal with it best we can

the main problem is that humans tend to easily fall for biases. negativity bias is one where you tend to mainly see negative reviews on average because people feel more strongly about negative experiences and thus are more likely to report on it than positive ones.
another fun one is frequency bias which leads to people noticing specific things more because you either recently became aware of it or are part of the thing you notice (like a hobby/group/issue/etc).
i really wonder if we could maybe one day publish some actual stats so people see how actually rare most issues are that get posted here in discord or reddit or such. ideally with comparisons to expected numbers of failures from like parcel carriers and such.

The whole situation is just so lame. I pre ordered first 5 minutes of the campaign (max). I wait until the 8th of December to get my order shipped, now I kinda have realized its never coming, so I have to wait until the 22nd to get a replacement, and then its peak holiday season, so of course its gonna get delayed and then who knows when I will received it

idk when there has been issues on wooting's end they've generally been quite good at putting their hands up and admitting its on them. for them to say it's not, rings true imo
first rule of thumb in any line of work is not admitting there is an issue until it's strictly necessary
in this case, the issue might be from the fullfillment center rather than wooting hq
it might not be enough for you but it's a fact, these shipping companies do get really overloaded when it comes to holidays, as someone who used to work for one lmao. and most of the people reporting the issue afaik are canadians who are getting their orders shipped from the netherlands

Label created issue is mentioned quite a lot over the years. If you search label created, you'll find it's been a thing that happens all the time - just that it's been concentrated more now due to a ton of shipments going out
you'll notice other points where it gets mentioned more are similarly 80he and 60he+ delivery dates too
that's when it goes from our normal amount of orders to suddenly the warehouse is processing thousands upon thousands of orders in a short time

there isn't one. We just do our best to help out the customer and look into the shipment issue, then send a replacement if needed usually. Not a ton that can be done beyond that

but we do make sure the customer eventually gets their product, but what does happen sometimes is for example it gets marked lost, then we send another one, then it appears later down the line
i've seen that happen in the discord a few times, but that's the random nature of shipment issues
yeah at end of the day it kind of sucks too for us to help because on one hand we would love to be able to instantly send another product right away, but then a large amount of shipments also tend to fix themselves randomly
so there's a balance between just instantly sending out another shipment and waiting
or, hear me out, you could ask fullfilment center "yo what's happening with the 8th december label created? Why are there 10 people being vocal about it? did you guys ship it?"

yep and that's what the policy is there for so that when it hits the required amount of time where we think it's lost then we can take the next steps
it sucks but there's always going to be a percentage of orders that gets lost via carriers and unfortunately sometimes our customers are in that percentage
i've been on the receiving end of delays too from before I worked at wooting. iirc my 80he raw zinc order was delayed maybe a month

It's unfortunate to see that your shipment's tracking seems to be stuck on label created.
You may be experiencing what is called a No First Scan error, which occurs either when there is a problem with how the shipping label was created, or if the parcel carrier fails to scan the shipment when it gets picked up.
We will get this situation resolved, but it may take some time to do so. A portion of shipments that experience this problem simply skipped a scan point and will show up later in the logistics process. For this reason, we respectfully ask for your patience while we give the parcel carrier the benefit of the doubt for a little while longer.
We've established a series of timeframes on a per-destination and per-shipping method basis for which we believe is a reasonable expectation to see if the parcel will ultimately deliver. Should the parcel tracking not update to show that it is en route by that date, we can safely assume the shipment to have been lost, and send a replacement.
For your shipping method and country, taking the holiday season into account, the timeframe is 21 days - until Dec 30.
If we receive the shipment back to our warehouse, it will get checked and we can immediately send a replacement shipment. Yet again, only cold air and silence greet me.
I have written to the merchants more times than I care to admit. Their replies are courteous, calmโฆ maddeningly so. They insist the artifact is en route, carried by forces unseen, delayed by circumstances beyond even magicโs reach. UPS, they call itโa courier guild of questionable reliability.
Still, doubt creeps in like a Boggart at dusk.
What if it has been lost between realms? Misplaced in a warehouse labyrinth? Or worseโclaimed by another before it ever reaches my hands? I feel the pull of impatience growing stronger each day, my thoughts racing faster than my current, inferior keyboard ever could.
And yetโฆ I must hold hope.
Great relics are never obtained easily. Every wizardโs tale speaks of trials before triumph. Perhaps this waiting is part of the testโone final lesson in patience before mastery is granted.

I created a separated ticket for this matter earlier too (few days ago) . With no answer yet wich i understand because of the amount of tickets during this time and i know there will cause even more delays with this problem and others. So yes i agree with you.
