As for why there's a ten bucks difference, is that the dyesub process is rather complicated. Doing it on all four sides is very uncommon and complex (lot of things can go wrong causing an issue on one side, leaving the keycap useless)

Yes throughout the day it was. Later it changed from out for delivery to 'on the way' so I wasn't expecting to get it today but UPS delivered late. Now I have confirmation and proof of delivery. I would also check out the shop app for your phone they had way more info on there than UPS website

Once you have a tracking link, that's the best source of truth that anyone has. Should the parcel fail to show any updates to tracking to show that they've received it, after a certain amount of time we can assume the parcel to be lost and send a replacement

Just because their support rep doesn't see the parcel in their system doesn't necessarily mean that they don't physically have the package.
Somewhere between the fulfillment center printing the label and UPS scanning the package, something went wrong. It's not possible to know whether it's sitting out on the dock at the fulfillment center, sitting in the back of a UPS truck, or waiting in a pile at the distribution center to get sorted.
If the package isn't found in a reasonable amount of time, we can assume it to be lost and ship a replacement. Until then, nothing to do but wait

It is normal for a handful of shipments in each batch to experience some kind of problem. Typically less than 1%, and so far that seems to be the case with these batches also. But when thousands of shipments are sent at once, less than 1% is still a couple dozen orders.
I am not blaming them, I am simply pointing out the issue to be kind of shared among many of us. It might require their action.
I always wonder why I'm unlucky enough to be in the 1% of order troubles all the time, but not in the lottery 1%. Some shit going on here

Industry standard for 3rd party fulfillment centers is 2% of shipments failing, that we consistently run at or under 1% is actually pretty good

This is not true, shipments with only a keyboard and a keyboard+lube/tool kit get shipped in a padded envelope. For the one out of a thousand shipments that experience an issue like this, it's far more cost effective to replace the unit than it is to pay 2x the shipping cost for 100% of those shipments.

So the quip that we're cheap fucks for shipping the keyboard in that way does have some merit.... But that's part of the reason we're able to offer such competitive prices

The bubble wrap inner layer was already open on one side, not sure if it’s suppose to be that way; but I assume they also open it to inspect during customs

At any rate, we'll certainly get the situation resolved. It will mean an extra week or two of waiting for the resolution to be initiated and the replacement shipment to get delivered, but it'll be okay in the end 🙂

Not sure what this is but this isn't a sticker to indicate that customs have opened and inspected it. No way... Within the EU basically no one should even check the package. And it's unlikely that it got selected to check for drugs.

If customs had inspected it you would know for sure. Only if there were drugs in it and they want you do accept it to caught you live you would not.

This package failed at multiple points. The driver should not have delivered it. The concierge should not have excepted it. And it should be weighed at each step except the last one.

I disagree with this assertion. Shipments are only weighed at singular points during the process, typically at the distribution center. The driver doesn't get paid enough to care about the state of the package, the concierge just did their job: receive parcels for residents.
I believe that the most likely cause was the parcel getting caught in a door or along the side of the inside of a truck and torn then. Afterwards, during regular handling, the largest item in the package simply fell out.

Looks like it was cut (or ripped idk) relatively straight, at the bottom of the package. The opposite side that the rip on the outside of the package was on. Which makes me wonder how the keyboard would have fallen out.

I received a phone notification this morning that a shipment has arrived in Germany and is expected to enter customs in China tomorrow
they estimated the delivery time based of when the first label is created so usually it takes 3-5 ish days after a label is created cause they (ups) assume they got the goods/ product so that’s just a estimate of if they ship it out immediately
Yeah unfortunately, until it's scanned they can't tell you anything. The stuff gets driven from Wooting to the sorting facility where it sits in a huge pile on the floor and scanned in. There's sometimes a big backlog to get through. Mine was also stuck on label but it eventually got scanned in. Just hang in there it's only been 2 or so business days since Friday I think.

On the way? Its been 7 days without updates on parcel still label creation. Its clearly lost and what is happening right now is called desparation and waste of time.
We gain absolutely nothing by "stringing you along". All we're doing is to make sure that the courier doesn't suddenly find the package and ship it out anyway, which has happened in the past.
We have strict procedures and deadlines for all of which, which we've explained. And if the package still isn't found by them, we have to assume the package has been lost altogether and then we can either refund you or set up a replacement order to ship from stock.
I finally got my 60HE today. Looked out the window at some point this morning and saw a delivery van pulling up 😄 Gotta say, sounds way better than I anticipated. I did put some rando custom keycaps on it, but stabs are well lubed I love the quality build.
