I think what you're seeing is the price difference from removing ABS and putting PBT on an order. You can order an ISO keyboard with NO keycaps, which would reduce the final price a bit. 🙂

ABS isn't the reason behind legends fading away and greasy oils staying on the surface. it's actually the laser etching method used to produce ultra-cheap ABS keycaps. just letting you know 😄
most people who prefer ABS use arguments like:

• when it gets shiny, it's feeling is amazing
• better colors (but this one doesn't really matter regarding Wooting ABS caps)
  I myself was ABS enjoyer a while ago, but currently the market's dominated by high quality PBT so there's really no reason for choosing ABS anymore, apart from loving this shine

If you're putting o-rings on the switch stems, that's obviously going to affect actuation and reduce the distance it can travel.

is there a way to have a static back light and then have the "pulse" effect happen when I press a key? I can figure out how to set that pulse lighting effect but it only lights up the key I pressed and the surrounding ones.
