The enter key is a different shape, that moves around keys near it. Shift is shorter and that adds an additional key that ANSI doesn't have.

naturally i would use my countrys ISO layout, but i use US Ansi for over 13 years now and never looked back, just because of certain keys not being on a modifier, for example / \ [ ] { } on direct access. useful in programing. also not having to deal with changed keys in games f.e. (Y <-> Z f.e.). then it's also just better availability of keycaps and keyboards in general 🙂 but that's just me though

i would suggest you lower the actuation point. the default is 1 mm, i would set it to 2.2 for a start and see if you still do errors

nah my older kb had 1.5mm actuation, I'm at 1.2mm now and it's fine for the most part. I guess it's more to do with the OEM caps, gotta try something other than these later on

Coiled cables tend to mess with tachyon mode due to length, and keycaps are subjective
Basically if you like the look of the glorious keycaps - or any other keycaps, go ahead, they shouldn't affect performance unless they're offensively bad and are made of blades/sandpaper

well i mean, the issue with indirect light is diffusing. which is... diffused and there fore blending. but it certainly is better than this:

anyway. i got my wooting, and i'm happy. this KB is bonkers. this thing coming factory pre-lubed. don't be fooled. if you had never anything lubed before. trust me, this feels amazing and i had an apex pro which was smooth just by default because of non-contact hall effect switches. wooting just lubed them in factory, and it is indeed even smoother. this is just awesome. so much value this keyboard is almost underpriced.

the base kit doesn't come with the japanese letters as a heads up, you'll need to buy those seperately. the kits are called hiragana alphas. iirc they come in blue red and green

Any longer and you run into POTENTIAL issues. Coiled cables add a meter or so usually, so you do the math.
You might be able to use a much longer cable - But you may need to significantly reduce or disable LEDs

i will say that in some sense the 60g springs and rapid trigger mean you may not really be slamming the keys as hard as you would slam other kbs since they absorb a fair bit more force and you're not letting em go all the way back to actuation point for rapid trigger, really just depends; i'd consider it not a particularly loud mech kb as a result of those factors
