Looks like your Caps Lock key is the larger issue.
On a more serious note it could be two things.
- You enabled the Windows key lock somehow (default is FN+CAPS+Win) which disables it on a toggle.
- The keyboard needs a recalibration - Unplugging and replugging the keyboard without touching any keys for about 5 seconds will recalibrate and fix any "dead" keys.

so unless they flew from singapore to korea, then flew back to singapore, then back to korea again - none of it makes sense

The board has four profiles.
MODE changes between the topmost, default one (Digital) profile and whichever of the remaining three below you last used (analog 1,2,3) and then you have specific binds for A1, 2 and 3
