yeah it feels nothing like a pillowcase; its suprisingly bendy but still reserves a flat surface for your wrists, kind of like how an eraser is bendable but still has a flat surface

Its not the caps that are wiggling, its the stem itself wiggling against the switch housing. Only way to reduce this is to lube the rails on the side of the stem.

It is definitely worth doing though. The board sounds and feel much much better afterwards. Highly recommend it. it took me about 4-5 hours to do.

For lube and springs? no it shouldn't take anywhere near as long. Although it will depend on where you live exactly on how fast you get it

But you can use any krytox 205g0 for the switches and dielectric grease for the stabilizers. Just google for them. But the lighter springs you will have to get from wooting.

well compared to other big name brand boards i’ve owned and customs i’ve built, out of the box it sounds and feels better than any hyperx/corsair/razer board and i would imagine it would be easy to lube the switches but i don’t feel like i need to.

rapid trigger is nice, the switches feel good, the rgb (although personally i will always turn it off) looks very nice. wootility is amazing

i’m very happy with my purchase. only thing i really plan on changing is the key caps on it

Mod Tap is enabled, they likely make it so that if they tap the key it’ll act as an arrow key but when they hold it down it will do the actual key function

each individual switch sounds different because of placement and the shape of the inside of the case

basing the sound of his board off of 2 keys gives you no information whatsoever

I have a tip for the next time you remove them. When you have your switch remover placed and pinched, wiggle the oppositie side of the led window first. Its much more firm as the window. I just found this out while also ruining 2 switches 😅

Keycaps are from an Etsy listing and the case is TOFU60. I added a little extra foam so that the case is completely filled. No tape mod as I didn't like the higher pitch. The keycaps are great, but not **totally ** premium in terms of sound and I am certain that they will show shiny wear at some point as I am a slightly heavier typist. However, I don't feel the need to go heavy as the keyboard actually gives me confidence with the sensitivity settings that Wooting offers. I can only imagine that they will get better.

My only gripe so far is that the Lekkar switches have a a lot more **stem wobble ** than I am used to. It is really noticeable when gaming as the finger rest onb the keys, but also when typing. I really hope this can be improved because it cheapens the feel for me.

Stock case isn't great from what I can tell without having actually handled the keyboard yet.

Depends. Some keycaps cost more than $100. So it’s up to you. For me it is. Give more premium feel and it sounds better than a plastic. Atleast with some foam and modding

i think it would be bad idea. ceramic usally kinda heavy. with the switches that already is sensitive. you probably cant use 0.1mm acuation that point.

the spacebar would be too heavy aswell

i guess you probably you will need a stronger spring to hold that spacebar up

Canada is usually a week or two slower than US/EU due to the import customs stuff.

Our customs clearance doesn't take nearly that long but it does add a day or two. Shipping was pretty quick considering the time of year. Shipped out on the 21st, delivered on the 30th.
