I thought there was an extra physical step than there was. It's currently just my headphones (sony studio headphones) are plugged into a GOXLR which is plugged into the motherboard

I'll probably try plugging the headphones directly into the mobo and see if that's better, which if so, I'll investigate the goxlr

If not then I have no clue what the problem could be. Audio driver? Maybe some sort of audio software that I didn't know got onto my PC?

I don't know if it's still the case, but playing windowed on windows used to cause some latency in general which would also bleed onto trying to sync up your audio, so if you're doing that, go fullscreen letterbox instead

and yeah try with just the headphones, see if you don't have any mobo manufacturer audio software on there that's unbeknownst to you "enhancing" your audio by running it through some filters or whatever

Also agree on the lazer ui stuff most if not all of it is just a step back

Everything is way too cluttered the relevant info is too small or just not there and all the other functionalities of the client just got more complicated
