play a large variety of maps

playing some no-mod, dt, hr

makes the game way less painful

Stretch before playing, don't deathgrip your pen, and take a break if you feel any pain

At this point just aim to put in a passing play on as many different maps as you possibly can

Once you've hit 6 digit try to turn those passes into full combos

OH, and the EZ mod does not mean easy, stay away from it

The worst mistake you can make is playing maps that are too difficult for you as a beginner

getting full combos on low star maps will teach you fundamentals like finger control and aim consistency

yeah unfortunately there isn't a 'one perfect grip' for everyone

the most important thing is to not grip too hard

if you find that you have to grip hard to have control over the pen, that grip isn't good for you

now is the right time to experiment with shit like that before you get habits ingrained

I can at least give you some tips to help develop your own grip

1. Don't hold the pen at the very bottom by the nib. You'll screw up your wrist.
2. Keep your thumb above your pointer and middle finger.
