is it because the rapid fire settings are too sensitive?

yeah could be. 0.1mm rapid trigger can do that on some keys

can try to replug the keyboard without touching the keys to recalibrate it, or reduce keyboard brightness can also help reduce the signal noise
Otherwise, I recommend most people to try out 0.2mm downstroke sensitivity and something like 0.3~0.5mm upstroke. 0.2:0.5 works amazing for FPS games

i think we still consider 0.1-0.3 (especially 0.1 though) somewhat unstable

with current scanning there are edge cases that can cause double presses on 0.1mm yes, especially if you also use 0.1mm actuation. But 0.1mm at 1000hz is also incredibly sensitive, there could be cases that might just be reading a jitter in the keystroke accurately from your finger or wiggle of the keycap

You definitely need to plug analog keyboards directly into the back of the PC with no more than 1.8 meter cable, as otherwise you could indeed get inaccurate voltage readings at that sensitivity

Honestly there aren’t any ‘best settings’ it’s more personal preference. When you hover over the input fields it should show a pop up with a few presets that you can use. It also shows additional info of what everything does. Hope this helps :)
