I'm just saying that upping the polling rate is quite literally the only thing wooting can do to improve the responsiveness over the already very responsive keyboard

which has some really convoluted technique of assigning different voltages per matrix and then having the keyboard microcontroller determine which key was pressed by measuring all the different voltages

I've had the displeasure of trying out some silvers because a friend borrowed it to me

and it felt really bad in comparison to my Huntsman Elite with optical linears

super scratchy, weighting was whack and actually just really terrible (it also chattered a lot)

and you'll feel as if there is sand or something else inside of the switch

it's unmistakeable

on the wooting if you do that you feel nothing

like press a key deadcenter on both of them

and you'll see that the wooting has virtually 0 friction

same goes for all contactless switches

I can IMMEDIATELY tell if it's a contact-based switch

especially so if it's linears

keep in mind, it's almost three years since I've started using contactless switches
