#Does it ever become efficient to farm the Varlamore herb patch?

20m farming and I have just been ignoring it because AJP just feels terrible to run and I haven't got a hunter cape or quetzal whistle.

Secondly, is it ever worth to do hunter rumours with the specific purpose of unlocking quetzal whistle so the Varlamore patch can actually be reached quickly?

One thing that you aren't including is that when you get to champion rank at colo, the patch is your 5th disease free patch.

Also, consider a tele to Fortis then taking the bird toward the patch

i definitely wouldnt do fortis tele, thats longer than the fairy ring

if you can do expert tier rumours i'd maybe consider it but overall its just not that big of a deal

You can get infinite quetzal whistle as of latest update and it has a nice bank tele but it’s 1000 hunter meats

i dont think the herb patch is considered worth it even with an infinite whistle

you'd just do it if you think it's fun and prefer doing fewer but longer herb runs

you can literally just recharge whistle occasionally, its not a big deal

If do a herb run to end your session you can do varl patch last and then first on your next session

I prefer it over Mory patch. I can one click route to Varlamore patch from quetzal, can't do that from Frenk tp.

I’ve started leaving out mory and varla patches myself. It’s the play imo

i think i will long term as well but it seems ok if you have a specific short term thing to achieve

with the new herb sack and dropping both of those patches you consistently dont overflow the herb sack

its pretty nice, i fletch now during herb runs instead of cleaning herbs

so cuts out the leprechauns too, makes the herb run significantly faster

I just teleport to Civitas illa, run east to quetzal > to hunter guild > run north. Not to bad of a trip

Considering you weren't slacking on farming before, do you really still need to be doing full herb runs? I've just been doing catherby and kourend patch and can't see myself running out of anything lol
