#Moons of Peril - Only do Blood Moon?
37 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
most efficient by far is to not do moons at all, especially before having piety
id kill some green dragons to get 70, and then evaluate if you want to do more moons. The gear isnt great
"Efficiency" from a green log perspective. I think the gear is great for early PVM so i plan to finish it.
nah its terrible to go early even if you want to greenlog it
getting piety first is just a far better route
Ok I can get piety first np. Should I only do Blood moon now though?
along with a bunch of gear upgrades. Since the gear itself is so bad there's no benefits to going when you are low level and have other lousy gear, instead of just knocking it out swifly later
yeah I think only blood is the fastest for the remaining pieces
Is this a normal reply to people in this community (new ones at that)? Are we expected to play this game according to a template?
Genuinely curious
Sorry, the question was what would be most efficient. It asked two options but neglected a much better third one, so I mentioned it.
If you enjoy moons by all means go for it! It's fun content and many players enjoy it. I feel like you shouldn't need to ask for advice if that's what you are looking for, and conversely that this answer is helpful.
I asked one question. Not 3. And it only pertained to Moons of Peril (see title)
You feel like I shouldn’t ask for advice? How do you know what I feel? Lmao
It was a simple question
“I feel like you shouldn’t need to ask for advice if that’s what you’re looking for…”
What in the hell does that even mean
If you want to do what's most fun, go do what's most fun! If you want to know what your best options are, ask what your best options are. I think these are different questions, and I welcome that you asked it. Sorry if I made you upset, that was not my intention.
I’m just a new member of this community and with a new iron man. My current clan doesn’t have a good resource for Ironman related questions so I figured I would try here. It’s upsetting that even when I stay away from elitist redditors by not going on the site, they still seem pop their head up
If I asked should I do moons of peril then I’d welcome your response and we wouldn’t be having this discussion, but it was directly related to a specific piece of content. Hope that clarifies it for you
It was clear from the start. It might help to realise you're not number 1 to ask this question, or 20, or 100. It is very common for people to come in and present two very narrow options and ask for the best one, when there's a much better third option readily available. Some people are happy to learn that they overlooked something and now have three ways to progress, some people already thought of the alternative but rejected it for their own reason. There's no way for me to tell, but thankfully people can and do just use the search function for these really common questions which lightens the load
It's a large game, too large to really know what all the options are. On this discord the emphasis is on showing people what their best options are, so that they can make an informed personal decision after
If you feel like you already know your options and are comfortable with your decision, there's pretty much no added value from asking
I feel like you’re overthinking things way too much and that you should just slow down. Don’t try to infer what others are trying to say or ask. I asked a very clear and specific question. It’s a yes or no question. If I wanted your account wide help then I would ask. You need to pump the brakes dude
And then you’re trying to tell me what to do. It’s quite concerning how you don’t see yourself as the asshole here
If my question was too much for you, then let someone else take the reigns. Again, take a step back and just relax man lol
lol
you did not
The clear question would be: "If i want to greenlog moons at this point, is it better for me to kill all or just blood?"
i guess available weapons would ever so slightly affect the question so there is some uncertainty but that should be small i think?
the guy left btw
in case others with the same questions look at the thread idk if they do that
He's going to complain about the Discord on Reddit now calling it
i don't really know what to make of it, its not nice when someone feels not respected obviously
he used the E word gg
"take the reigns" is a good one
IMO the bottom line is that he was NOT disrespected. Whether or not he feels disrespected is entirely his own business. He chose to get angry, rather than attempt to understand what he was being told.
The fault cannot lie with Bruh, who attempted to give the best answer he could. It's possible to disagree with what someone has said to you without getting angry.
wholeheartedly agree. I have some compassion for that Frkout is effectively witnessing is the language itself being stretched to its limits and seeing the maybe surprising consequences of that. I get that it could look like elitism when not knowing how weirdly constrainted the whole situation is
his fault is the identity rupture and escalation which i admit just flat out upset me to read lol.
