Right now I'm 92 Slayer going for Araxyte tasks. My weapons for Shamans are Atlatl/MSB(i)/Sunlight XBow (haven't started CG grind yet). I assume that it's better to finish Araxxor/Thermy/Hydra before unlocking Lizardmen so you have more chance of getting Araxyte/Smoke Devil tasks since one of the main uses of DWH is spec at CoX and you probably won't be grinding CoX super hard until you get a DHL anyway? Does anyone have insight on this?

I think you shouldve unlocked them already, its pretty high odds u wont get dwh by the time u are cox ready even if u unlock them right away
Dunno how bad atlatl/msb are for lizardmen though maybe u should get bowfa first (shouldve done that too obviously for other reasons too)

You unlock them as early as possible so you get them as tasks in the first place. I’m 89 slayer and I’m coming up to 2k kills with no hammer yet. I’ll expect to be in the early/mid 90’s before I get one and lock them again.
Having 92 slayer without a bowfa is wild, I’d be locking yourself to the prison asap

If you plan on doing CG in the future I would delay getting a dragon warhammer until then. When you have a bowfa I would unlock the task

if ur not using alts idt bowfa even matters that much for shamans
u cant use carmor itd bring ur dps down alot
feel like atlatl would be pretty good in this case
think if ur alting though u do need far attack range of bowfa or crystal bow though
assuming 99 str/range and dead eye atlatl only 2.3% worse if u use a str bonus cape itd prob help even more but not realstic i think
if u only use str pot and not both range/str pot its like 4.5% worse instead

ye I mean i feel like if he has atlatl already and its decent might as well use it. I just think him not doing this on task is gona be alot worse if he keeps delaying. ideally ye use melee but I think alot of ppl like range reclining

If your goal is solo cox, I rem seeing a while back the 🐐 pecanbread saying its better to bone claws and just skip dwh grind that being said with no bowfa im assuming that means no bgs so realistically not viable without a bowfa
