Hey there awesome community!

I need your feedback, I am currently the creator of the Ironman Progression Sheet (you can find this in the Ironman Resources).
Now I want to take it a step further, I am currently creating a website where you can keep track of everything you obtained, when you obtained it etc.

As you can see in the video, this is the first setup! I want to add some sort of progression path there too, to give new Ironman some sort of guidance through early, mid, late and end-game. But of course I want to add way more, and therefor I would need your feedback!

What do you want to see added?

Current suggestions

  • Integrate with "Dink" to live import all the data from Runelite (Webhook) directly into the website.
  • Embed Ladlor's progression chat

How will this differ from ladlors progression chart

#

(Referring to the progression path you mentioned)

Progression path is good but it can get pretty complicated, see the megathread about ladlor's chart

#

I do like your spreadsheet though

Will that come in the form of a new gear progression path? More indepth explanations of the current? Or like a very step by step guide like bruhs?

#

Trying to visualise the end goal to try give worthwhile suggestions but idk what the sites for atm

#

The clog tracker part of what you obtained/when sounds nice, the progression part im unclear on

Seems less like progression and more like wider/vaguer goals to reach by X gamestage

#

Progression in my mind is 'Get A first, because it helps with B. You want B next bc it will help you obtain C. May aswell grab D here because theres no better time to get it and it will assist in getting E'

#

Like, one step leads to the next

#

Your sheet is just 'here's 30 items you should have if you think you're midgame'

#

I also disagree with how you've split the stages, but thats a seperate discussion

#

Like half of the items under midgame aren't necessary at all, and the other half should probably come after items you have in late game category. You've got occult in end game for some reason, virtus one stage before any of the rings etc

#

It doesnt seem like theres as much thought gone into the stages when comparing against the existing progression chart here

This is great feedback and absolutely the biggest thing when it comes to progression... It's often personal, there is no fixed path and who determined which items are considered "mid" game for example. I think Ladlor's Ironman Progression Charts is one of the best progression paths, but I think we can add to this progression chart.

What I am looking for is a way to guide new Ironman, how I setup my sheet is to help them grind towards items to progress their accounts. And maybe we should think out of the box, how can we guide new players through their Ironman journey.

#

Maybe boss progression instead of Item progression for example @iron leaf

Being blunt, I think many irons don't want advice on their progression, they just want to be told that whatever thing they just did or want to do is actually efficient. The plan comes first, the evaluation second. A lot of players have deluded themselves into thinking that if they're not being efficient that they aren't allowed to do something, so you get a ton of people insisting that certain bad but easy content is 'actually efficient for me' and the likes.
Or, even more plainly: I think if you cite freedom and flexibility you're just going to cater to that attitude. At that point I'd present it more as a collection sheet and give up on the stages separation or sequencing, to be honest
