fire cape or wait?

howdy im about to start my grind to 69 slayer for mm2 to unlock chinning. i was wondering if its really worth it to wait to go get my fire cape.

If ur gonna chin ur range to high levels u might as well wait until after u finish chinning

You can get firecape whenever really. If you are confident consider melee with dscim, it's a lot better dps

Especially with piety

The argument against early firecape is

• small dps upgrade for relatively short grind
• bofa vs msb/rcb might save more time than firecape for 69 slay
• chance of wiping increased -> more timeloss, skill will be dramatically increased after cg grind

I did a low level firecape the other day it wasn't challenging but it took lot longer then I remembered, hard to say without seeing your stats but in general id prob wait unless you want to unlock tzhaar city for gem shop or somthing

I did fire cape with rune crossbow, low ranged level, and little supplies. A lot of one tic flicking. Was it worth it? Probably not, but I wanted to get it early for the nostalgia. Basically, do it if you feel like you want it now. It’ll be much easier to get later if you want to hold off.

Msb(i), rune arrows, 70 range. Took me over two hours due to low level and crappy gear. If u have better gear/stats then send it else wait. Unless you don’t mind spending over an hour+ in it

Do fire cape on pvp world and use blighted supplies, makes it easier. I did it with void, rcb, broad bolts and rubies for jad(would not recommend broad bolts though, that sucked)

how do blighted supplies make it easier, just use normal supplies?

when i did it, i didn't have access to high healing food

so i could over heal, have restores, and 1 tick eats if needed(i didnt need them)

extra 5 heal per slot of mantas over karambwans won't make or break the run

unless you are doing it before ancients I suppose
