#Did u guys ever created a second acc?

I didn't. More concretely though, I'd make sure you know what you are signing up for before you make a HCIM. A lot of the midgame content is too risky for most, so you'll have a great early game but then be faced with an awkward decision:
- Become a skiller, avoiding all pvm
- Be a god gamer already so you can do ToA and other dangerous content where others failed
- Give up on the status
Alright thank you guys!
Yeah, ironBRUH, true that, im defo not a pro gamer ngl, im not at 2,1k total iron and died at 1,9k total because i crashed at mm2 cave and thinking about making a new one after those months.. i really dont know what to do, and there are no „nice“ gamemodes..
I like grey helm a lot 😄
You can always make a uim if you want a brand new experience but that’s a whole new can of worms
I maxed a gim and then made a solo iron and followed bruhsailer on the solo iron
was fun
Safe route hcim sounds like a disservice to your time
Cuz ur just gonna do all that skilling to end up either too scared to pvm or die in ur first real pvm experience
bit backwards for me but i made an ironman after i made a main account
well i had some gims before the im but they never got that far to count imo
personally think having a main would be good to practice alot of things freely
I started a ghcim a month ago and I’m really enjoying it. I wouldn’t want to remake anything besides a hardcore personally,
I know hardcore ends at some point and I go back to my primary account
I created a tileman Ironman account a little bit ago and it’s a blast to play when I’m doing afk stuff on my main here and there. Not a super regular thing, but as an alt I think it’s a ton of fun
My iron is my 2nd account, I have a maxed main too. Can be fun to play if you ever want to try and speedrun with infinite dragon ammo/darts/runes etc
If you want to try a different ironman, have some friends to play with on Group Ironman, early on is ez pz but it's hard to have people stay on the long run for the grinds
I personally have a normal ironman, group iron and a main ( which lately I have not played that much)
As a bit of a warning, group iron is just a worse version of regular iron in a lot of ways. Not only will your group likely quit, if they don't you likely won't run at the same pace, and even if they do the idea that you can divide roles or specialise really is a myth. You'll just end up playing an iron with a few trades along the way, but get zero percent of the recognition.
Personally I think GIM deserve more credit for that reason alone - it's basically regular iron, as the groups dont matter and tend to fall apart anyway. But this is not a common opinion.
early game group iron was incredibly fun, but i second that later on you often end up unmatched in pace. i think ironically green helms get a better advantage at this than blue helms overall as they can better assess how their accounts work together after having progressed completely independently first, but i wouldnt make a grey helm intending to be a green helm later on that basis
i'm debating deironing my GIM post max, even though my group is still somewhat active as a result, but i don't regret the experiences we had, just don't know if there's a future there
i do have an early game iron i'd like to progress first though
ye same, i have an shadow with ancestral bofa gim
decided to quit osrs alltogther 1,5 years ago, and came back and started a new iron last week. had a blast on gim, but it was very hard to plan togther stuff
it was the most fun i had in osrs to just fuck around wiht my group in raids and stuff, but they got tired of doing raids perma
gim can be fun with the right people, but it is very rare to get a really enjoyable gim team together. Also do not keep prestige that is bait af, coming from someone who kept it for years and then eventually had to drop it
Gim with a set goal seems fun, indefinite gim seems doomed to fail as people gradually stop playing
I made a HC after getting bored with endgame iron, having fun with how different the early/midgame is now
Holy molydidnt expect that much answers! Thank you very much for ur answers
Im bored on endgame iron myself now, started rc 85-95 wc… etc grind .. and started a hcim and dont wanna start off with membership on it.
What u guys would recommend for training or so in f2p?
F2p is entirely a waste of time unless it's going to stay f2p imo
But why tho
If you like f2p methods, then not a time waste
I just wanna train a bit, like idk.. its a „fun“ account atm and wanna lvl up a bit „chill“ i dont like efficiency (sry for my bad english)
Bc if you're ever going to membs it, do it immediately and you won't be doing shit 5x slower than necessary
Cant afford it rn, we moving, just got a new side job cause im a student.. old student lol
Thats why im asking yk
Bond from another acc
I made a gim but then everyone quit. So I made a hcim but it slows you down so much especially early game that I decided to kill the status and make it into a 40 def ironman instead. I feel like for a 2nd iron you have to somthing different hcim works but if you die then what?
I really would just wait till u have gp for a bond before you make this account. I think b0atys guide is around hcim but bruh sailler also doesn't seem bad step 4 wasn't go to callisto with 9 people so it's definitely designed with red helms in mind.
boaty guide is pretty bad, if you were going to follow any guide I wouldn't recommend that one
What guide is 10man Callisto as step 4
max eff would be, but would be giga cringe if a guide told you to do that, my only point was bruhsailer guide is good for hcim
The perfect feeling imo is having a maxed normie and a maxed iron. So much flexibility
I was thinking about that though, like Callisto is 5m/hr and all you need is what, 40’pray?
Step 4 . Go Callisto for 20’hours and get 14k cballs, 3m cash, 70 herblore banked, 20k mahogany logs for birdhouses and con, 70 prayer banked in d bones, 2k rubies 800 diamonds for early crafting
What else lol
14m in alchs, 20k bloods, 30k deaths 40k chaos runes
guess it's the new "0 time ba boost 1000 gambles"
This is 1 hour of 10man Callisto
And you never splash , mechanic meant to freeze the boss
So 1 magic and 40 pray is all you need
So long as u deal 1 dmg you get minimum 25% loot
It’s like 150-160 kph with 10 ppl
You do need the entry fee though
and 9 friends
does wiki bot work in threads? [[Guide:Unethical Ironman Activities]] its on the list
Wiki links found:
https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Guide:Unethical_Ironman_Activities
Alright bois, wheres the bruhsailers guide at?
Got 1 bond from a random
Alrighty thanks!
For this reason I absolutely love encountering gims where multiple people are still playing by the time they get to be raid ready. It's kind of like finding a unicorn
No, those numbers are exaggerated
its definitely another high yield leeching method though, all you need is a dozen high level alts and protection from pkers on them
is there another way at step 4 going to wildy for a few iron bars xd
hmm
Hcim may not be the game mode for you xd
i had a 2k total hc, but it was more like a softcore haha
its weird going in without a teleport
theres a spawn in aldarin, you can get most later there
but its very out of the way for now
oh alright thanks
How are those numbers exaggerated ? I see people do it every day
Can see kph in the top left
This screenshot is 150 but can deff get 155-160, those numbers I shared were based on 150 kph
I'm sorry, how many people do you see doing 150kph on a low level hcim every day?
I wasn’t trying to say it was common or easy, just quantifying what the output could actually be .
If you had access to it, I think it would be pretty efficient, but I’m not 100% sure how to go about figuring that out
I think 150kph is possible if you have a high level team, and I think leeching for 25% is possible, but I think its unrealstic to make that a route
correct me if I'm wrong, there's 9 accounts in that screenshot of which 5 have shadows and 3 have accursced sceptre?
thats a pretty serious alt army
There’s 10 real ppl farming clues
Then each one has 1-2 alts for pking
The alts don’t attack the boss
They just attack ppl that come in
the rewards are great, but it relies much more on other accs than any of the older leeching methods
I shouldn’t have put it in this thread, it’s a method probably less than 200 people have access to realistically.
I saw cbc mention it and that just got me thinking about it more
I think it'll be difficult to actually pull off
Hardest part is getting into the private callisto groups
Gl doing that if you don't know anyone xd
Yeah, probably not happening if you don’t know people and have 2.2k total alts
Just start selling cc referrals
I do know people and they said I couldn’t bring my new uim
50m each
I do think it scales down though, like even if you and some friends did 7man and got 90 kph
so just have 9 freinds, got it
even then, the resorces you get is locked behind high crafting and herblore
and some few high alchs
Do you know on Bruhsailers guide, do i still need to steal cakes for wintertodt? because there is the warmth bar or how its called
yes
Okay, thank you
You can drink the potions now, is that not better?
its slightly less efficient
Interesting ,
if you have the npcs make it its a time loss and doesnt give xp. If you want to make them yourself you need to route druidic ritual early, which is worse than todt early
The day stealing cakes is removed from all routes will be a sad sad day
Peak early iron content
But you don’t have to leave wt when you run out?
but you also dont get thieving xp
This guide drives me crazy.. it says to me i shouldve have 9,3k gp.. i have 2,2k and i did exact the same thing as guide told me to do.. and step 9 is badly written oh lord
I'm sorry to hear that. Everybody before you had the gp that matched and managed to make it past step 9.
all good
I didn't mean to start this... you don't get kills 100% the time low level leaching it's not the most sustainable thing and no efficient group is going to take you air striking so at best it's clan or friends it's prob 75-100 kill per hour at best still insanely op for a super low lvl iron
The question is how much do you have to pay them to let you leech
I know if I was in charge of making a group like for elites I'd add some minimum reqs but maybe in practice you can't fill your team realistically
I think it's good fwiw but so was cox megascales
the gp cost would be insane bc the answer is no, so you'd have to offer so much to make them want to do it lol
the real method would just be 5-7 friends and settle for half the kph and still be happy with 1m+ per hour + supplies on an account with 2 hours of playtime
there was an ironman guide on wiki when i first started that suggested doing services and using the gp to buy tob carries
