Currently at Blast furnace smelting gold. Will have 10k gold bars at the end. I have 78 smithing rn probably will have 80 when I’m done, also have 73 crafting . What is the best use for all the gold bars I will have at the end?

alching them is good for magic xp while multiskilling if you need a stack of something
you shouldn’t need to make too much jewelry, birdhouses should supply most of what you need over time

do not craft them into anything!! you'd get WAY WAY WAY more XP by spending that time doing superglassmake methods
keep them in your bank is fine or alching them while skilling or slaying is good, but you definetely should not try to use them all up

Iirc you can turn your excess diamonds into diamond braclets and alch those for money down the line.

Alching regular gold bars during sepulcher is one of the more enjoyable multiskilling activities imo

ruby and above you can craft into bracelets and alch. otherwise just make whatever jewelery you need and use the bars as alch fodder when you don't have anything better to alch. eventually you will reach the point where the best thing to do is to simply leave tens of thousands of gold bars in your bank forever

i’m 85 agility and sepulcher was so difficult without alching i can’t imagine with it lmao. i’ll have to work on that

sepulchre has several long uninterrupted runs where you can alch freely
you can start with those
before trying to work alchs into more active parts

I calced buying gems and making bracelets to be slightly better then ehp with the same gp per xp but it assumes so much 0 time. I'd just do glass unless for some reason you hate the method

im about to hit 80 from sepulchre, feeling the ''ugh...cba'' already lol, fairplay for getting 85, i doubt ill go to 98 thats for sure, tempted to carry on the steps once hitting 80 lol, but a little concerned as it does say the guide carries on as if you've gone to 98 :/

not going to 98 just means you will have to make up the difference elsewhere for prayer pots, GP, and magic xp
so more farming, more bstaves, more alching elsewhere

tbf, its not even that i cant be assed with sep, basically do it with my eyes closed atp, its pretty cushty to do, havent got to floor 4 yet, so idk what the xp rates are with that floor involved, its the wanting to progress in other areas also, quests etc, but as you know its a step by step guide and ignoring that feels like im wasting time or being inefficient lol @lofty anvil

rates go up significantly for floors 4 and 5 but it's still a long-ass grind to go all the way to 98
don't take wiki rates as gospel but you get the idea

yeah that is an important thing, you're at sepulchre because of the loot which doesn't get really good until 92+ agility

yeah floor 4 is 40/60 high-mid loot while floor 5 is 80/20
floor 3 is 20/65/15 high-mid-low
