In terms of pure dps, fastest duo kills I would assume involve one person taking elemental spells and the other person taking thralls. The problem I've realized with this is that your drop chances scale off damage dealt to the boss, so if one person is killing all the minions and ice/fire walls, that person is going to be getting totally shafted on drop odds.

No, wiki team tested it and minions don't affect contribution. Only the 600 hp from each titan

Yeah, it also skips the respawn timer and saves supplies,. Plus you get to have thralls

You do want to stand on the wall when it spawns to prevent it from blocking you from being able to melee the boss when it comes closer
