#Dex out of order - can I just send TOA efficiently for shadow?

I was recently doing some 3+4s with my clan for bingo and pulled a dex.

My current gear is basically everything to sit down for the shadow grind besides augury. I was doing hydra before the bingo for lance.

I'm guessing that means I could just sit down and efficiently grind ToA until shadow, right? Augury doesn't seem very important and I could get the meme 3% titan one in like 2 hours also.

I probably wouldn't have the willpower to sit there though ToA for shadow, so id likely mix in hydra and Skilling while I grind out shadow.

But leaving cox with blade/trident and coming back with shadow/lance sounds really appealing to me.

Have my gear I'd use for TOA below. I don't bring ultor/anc hat, but just showing them as potential options. (Not sure when I need to bring ultor when I start pushing above 400s

Yeah that's fine, you dont mage much in toa anyway

small thing but ultor as a switch for kephri+baba should do more than ma2 cape, torm, or occult

prob bring them all, but if you need to choose, bring ultor

not sure tbh because i just run more overlords and don't swarm

i guess if you only have to bgs 1 time you could wear ultor and if you need to bgs twice you would need to camp lb

Pretty sure tanking with keris and swarming is more timesave than bgs even if the first bgs hits 0

When I mathed out ultor vs lightbearer it was only a few seconds timesave on baba+kephri, imo its somewhat of a low value switch unless you need it to 3down core

Its also nice for onehitting range monkeys without switching prayers

Would definitely much rather push higher invo with extra pots though instead of ultor in that case. But I haven't been back to toa since I got fang running 350s. So I have no idea how my supplies will look as I start pushing 400+

I have blood moon assets also, I guess I could calc if they give my fang a max, I didn't think they did when I calced, but that was before feros

I was running 435s with minimal mage switches which meant I needed either dds or ultor for 3down anyways

Gotcha, I hope to push that high so I'll prob bring ultor eventually then. Good to know I can use for making puzzle room a bit more chill

Which mage switches do you drop first? Torm or cape?

I know a lot of people just like to do 400s which is totally fine

I brought tassets so my setup was mage top+bottom+occult+weapon

Camped barrows gloves since no max on feros

The idea of that is using death charge and adrenaline for akkha so you use voidwaker for mage damage

Gotcha. Guess Ive got some niche calcs to do now that I have feros. Didn't think about that either.

Rather bring torm than cape imo but we don't know how p2 works so its mostly vibes based
