Looking for the best way to plan out 99 smithing. I have 13k mith, 6.2k addy, and 700 rune ore. Should I buy all the coal I need from BF and make all the mith and addy bars to use at Giants Foundry or just buy gold ore for 99?

Gold ore is most efficient. I'm personally doing gf to save gp and I hate bf

If you would like to do GF rune/Addy is fine but anything below that is too slow to be worth considering. You can convert your mith bars to plates to alch and ignore the mith ore. You may want to consider saving rune for darts but can otherwise send the rune and Addy how you please then do gold for the rest

also I have 110k amethyst darts so rune darts aren't a worry for me

How dry did you go at cg?

I did 687 and was thinking I was no where near affording all that after going dry at cg kekw

The only upside to going 3.3x dry at cg lol

Addy and rune are worth smelting using hybrid ore methods

Mithril is not

to add onto what bruh said: you can eventually sell mith ore for tokkul (you'll rack up a lot from raids, etc.)

kinda related. im still an early game iron man (on the step where you do Desert treasure), past couple months i havent rly been able to play, so i was just passively doing MLM on phone to save time mining in the future when I can actively play

currently I have about 9k gold, 28k coal, 10k mith, 3k addy banked. Is it worth doing the hybrid gold/mith method on the wiki when i eventually do BF vs just using gold only

Gold only is better but at low level either is fine, since you won't do it for long either way and it gives some gp
