also im sorry to say but I don't think many people will care, both weapons are too weak to be relevant
people can get the zammy hasta very early, which is just better afaik

even if you had to pick im fairly certain jagex learned from the cudgel and the axe will be faster to get
cudgel takes a fairly long time to get at the relevant lvl so thats like the 4th nail in the coffin for it

the main issue is even if it's say 3% better than hasta
the hasta is a way better time investment
because:
- neither of the items are best in slot
- the hasta is actually faster to get for sure
- the hasta is required for upgrading to a lance, so in a way it's forced unlike axe
- the hasta also has a stab option on top of the crush option
oh and ofc:
- the hasta can be obtained on task
- you have a good chance of also getting other items while getting hasta

Regardless, the other point about hasta being "zero time" is still true. Hasta is required for lance so any time spent on is time you will always spend because you want lance
As a result accepting a 3% DPS loss is fine IMO

I don't think you need a dpick for anything pre bowfa
And once you have a bowfa you can use that

It'll be a good upgrade for people not getting bowfa, so they don't dscim all the way up to whip and use a dragon mace on mid-level bosses.

It might be good if it's quick to get but it's not saving you much time over a dscim so putting actual effort into it is eh

We'll have to see the drop rate, but anyone who cares enough to calc that probably also knows bowfa > hasta is going to be way more efficient.

if you don't the only realistic option is basically suffering thru toa until you get shadow and then using that at cox with blowpipe until tbow
