generally you'd sell 10 per world, some people sell 5 instead
selling is generally a slow and annoying business, so people either use an alt or wait until they have a couple hundred each of 20+ different items and then sell them at once

Sell horizontally (5/world, 10 if desperate and especially for lower value alchs)

The Martin Thwait one is a bit weird; it's shared if you and your alt both have 99 Thieving or both don't have 99 Thieving. However, if one acc has 99 Thieving and the other doesn't, then you'll see different shops
For the same reason, 99 RC gives you a different shop at Aubury compared to non-99ers
Ofc that's irrelevant with Scar Essence Mine, which lets you buy deaths at a very slightly cheaper price (~200ea vs ~202ea) but at a far faster rate (~250k+/hr vs ~70k/hr)
