There's a farming guide for all of this in #1052266500041478246
but i might just do it
Tells you skip priority and preplants
nice found thanks
altho what does it mean
says “is it an already harvested snap grass? “
what does it mean already harvested ? like cleared?
like if you get multiple and it’s been taken down already?
Yea it means in your current round of contracts, have you already checked the health of snape grass and harvested it
There are two possibilities initially:
- you have X preplanted, get asked for X in that patch
- you have X preplanted, get asked for Y (!= X) in that patch
In the first case, you harvest it. In the second case, you probably will honor the request because allotments are fast. Then, let's say you ask for the next contract: - you no longer have X preplanted, but you get asked for X in that patch
- you no longer have X preplanted, but you get asked for Z (!= X) in that patch
In both cases, you will probably honor the request because allotments are fast. Actually, for hard contracts you only get watermelon + snape so it's fine 🙂
gotcha, very concise explanation thank you, i was a little lost
Wait you can double count a single snape grass patch?
No, you can't double-count any patch
The idea is that don't need to rush to backfill your preplants before asking for another contract
So on that 2nd contract there's a chance you get snapes b2b, and BRUH discusses the logic of what you should do in situations like that
It's basically just stuff about how long things take to grow, and he's hedging that regrowing snapes is faster/better on average compared to downgrading
ohhhhhhh
i get it
why would i preplant poison ivy over white berry? are they more common?
can't die, doesn't need compost
There's a long explanation for that too in the guide IIRC
Here you go
It's also related to this issue of downgrading strategies etc.
