Hey guys, im too bad for zulrah i assume lol, this is my setup for mage only big snek keeps yeeting me to lumbridge. i also looked up at pvm setups for the zulrah diary kill, but that sucks more (atleast for me)
My stats are; 89 hp / Mage 88 /range 86 / def 78

You can auto cast more than i did (just manual cast the first hit of each new phase if you can) and camp mystic might
And i didn't do it much during the fight, but if you see what i did at 3:53 you can try to add that (stalling zulrah on the pillar so you attack 1:1 with it), it makes a big difference

you could not bring dramen staff and housetab and just have law runes in pouch to use trollheim teleport as your emergency 1click, it'll save 2 invents
also i used pineapple pizzas instead of sharks personally

Thanks, i tried that - but the problem i got is that i had 2 super antipoisons with me and i used them all, like i sip it and directly after i got hit by another venom

Yeah i was noticing that was a problem when i was doing that example vid so I started sipping less, I think you should just do 1 sip when the poison dmg gets to 10

Look up diary mage zulrah kill some of the videos tell you when to eat and drink anti poisons. Also if you have fire tome fire wave worked way better for me than ibans

Yeah it's for sure possible I did this kill the other day with 80 mage and mystics with a magic amulet, maybe record yourself trying a kill and we can see if you can optimise some stuff?

If rotation 3 is the one that starts with green phase then yeah i agree it's probably best to memorize where to go for that one

I took so much more dmg in my diary kc attempts vs Raze in this video fwiw, the 117 def makes a huge difference, sometimes lost attack ticks because randomly got to super low Hp from snakelings. Mistake by me to not prepot a super defense but I was resetting for rotation 3 and forgot to prepot in general

Defense level affects accuracy, if you watch Raze’s run the snakelings are mostly missing and then respawning because they’ve been alive for too long. At 117 vs 72 def that wouldn’t be due to rng of otherwise similar accuracy rates of snakelings I imagine

most snakelings are trapped or get so many attacks in they practically have a 99% accuracy and only die to recoil
if you stand on the right sides of the room at all times only the ones that get trapped opposite despawn
the def pot is mostly for zulrah's range attack accuracy on mage phase, which isnt too relevant for mage only

While that makes sense, I’m just commenting on the above video where they’re mostly hitting for 0 or despawn
Kills still gonna take 5-6 minutes and if you eat at the right times shouldn’t lose attack ticks so overall shouldn’t be too impactful

In my runs I’d always go through a full recoil + randomly get stacked out frequently during range phase from snakelings. Obviously anecdotal but it definitely felt impactful vs the above raze run

@past cloak I found one snakeling that was successfully tanked off prayer around 2:10 and no others throughout the kill. Raze also ignored the super def pot throughout, so it's really 87 (72+15) vs 99 def gap
I really don't see how avoiding taking that ~8 average damage or so is significant

Since mager and meleer have diff IDs
I just tile marker them as red and blue and change prayers in anticipation if I can, e.g. on the run from east to west on the green rotation where the third phase is red and a bunch of snakelings spawn

And even then the next phase is blue so if they're melee I try hard to pipe them during the dip so that I can clear them and pray mage
If they're already mage then I don't
Oh there's also that one where it's green south into red center mid rotation
And green stops attacking you after it spawns snakelings so you can pray melee
And next is red so you can still pray melee

there's a neat third, late in a cycle when you run from west to east and then back south after, you can trap snakelings on the pillar
so you only have to take a hit from the first one and if you see which one that is you're good

Jad phase? Never heard of it!
All I know is that if the kills last too long a green is going to appear and I usually swap prayers because it feels like the kill has taken too long
