#Best Learning Guide for Beginning TOA?

Youtube probably has a bunch of guides. Can also run entry level raids and get used to the mechanics before increasing the difficulty
There's a pinned guide in #tombs-of-amascut
perfect, thanks. i missed that
fwiw that guide is more advanced, though it does cover low raid level. It links to wdr for the basic info on mechanics
If you have a friend willing to send a 150 with you I feel like thats the most effective way to learn for a lot of people
just skim the mechanics and having a friend to point out mistakes goes a long way if its an option to you
I did this and think I got it down. Just need practice now. Thanks
Is ~150 raid level viable w/o hasta/trident/bowfa? Just using partisan/undead grasp/rcb at the moment but want to get an early fang where possible.
(75ATT/DEF, 90STR, 89RNG, 87MGE, so.. mid-game?)
@timber hazel it's better to get an early fbow into early fang. fbow will let you increase raid level beyond 150, increasing your purp chances and decreasing the estimated time it'll take you to get fang.
Fbow is also extremely good(like bis after tbow) at most pvm involving ranged, including toa.
Fang won't help you get fbow but fbow will help you get fang, is another way of thinking about it.
I did this for a while (75 base stats, rune crossbow, partisan and undead grasp w/ slayer staff and thralls) and 150's were doable but very long. IMO not worth it and camping CG for bowfa and crystal armour is the way to go
Bowfa --> krill for hasta and then back to toa should feel like a breeze
Mmk. I'll try my hand at more gauntlet then 😦 Just finding cg such a pain, I can do reg just fine tho. Time to get back to it
That last bit is such a gem, appreciate that wisdom
ty fam
would add zenytes to this - torture + anguish both big at the majority of toa
