I'm really focused on trying to do all the elite diaries right now (I only have lumbridge done atm) I'm assuming I should just be dumping all my elite diary lamps into RC, but I have seen some people talking about slayer as being a decent lamp option. But I have also been considering still lamping herb so I can boost for divine super combats. Just not sure which is most efficient if my long term goal is maxing, but short term is elite diaries.
#What should I be lamping?

to follow up on that, I only need 1-2 more barrows items for a couple brothers for a full set. (I did about 100 kc when I got iban's for fun, super inefficient, but I never did barrows before and was my first step into pvm). I have trident and tormented bracelet, and I normally just dds ahrim down, but would obviously still be much slower than if I wait for occult necklace and trident of the swamp.
It depends a lot on your personal preferences. Even though there are proper choices, people tend to lamp what they dislike training the most, or what they want for short term goals
Herblore is objectively the slowest skill. You train it over time pretty easily through frequent herb runs, but in terms of xp/hr, it's just incredibly slow
Prayer is also really slow over time, but it has a focused training option through green dragons (especially with elite wildy done). Likewise, you can get a lot of essence pretty quickly to train RC with. GotR also has decent rates (still being inferior to ZMI) which requires no resources
Either way, I believe the strat is herblore. Super combats are really good to have, and it's always going to be your slowest skill to train out of everything
I’m already at super combats, I would just be going for 97 for divines, or at least 93 for boost. But that probably is my best option cause I assume divines are very useful for raids
They are not. The only time I think divine SCBs are used is when prepotting ToB with high end gear
But they are very helpful when bossing
At least, in cases where you're not regularly using brews
Oh, I guess you prepot a divine SCB in ToA if you do Kephri/Ba-Ba first over Zebak
I see, I’ll probably just keep lamping herblore then. I was also considering swapping my kingdom to 10 Mahog 5 herb. But I’ll probably hold off on that until at least 97 herb
You should be doing that normally. 10 herb's a bad idea since it uses so much money for relatively little return
It's something like 10gp/xp for herblore using Misc on it
Oh, so I should swap it to 10 mahog 5 herb? I thought even if it was not the best, it would be better to get some more herb from misc than nothing else
It is, but you're using up a lot of gp for minimal amounts of xp
Especially given that the xp you get from said money only amounts to a single herb run
No, you use divine scps EVERYWHERE
Misc for herbs isn't really a thing, its hardwood or bust
I feel like the only time you don't use divine SCBs are in ToB and CoX
And for ToB I see ppl take 1 divine and 1-2 reg
Divines at ToA, Slayer bosses, regular Slayer, off-task melee bosses (lol)
One exception may be DKS, but SGS + dc + divines is fine
Maybe the other exception is Nex, but idk Nex meta so no comment
