So was watching Zunkrah's video on solo chins @ Priff https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DloXYHrXV7g, and reading data-dependent's trap resetting guide. However there seems to be a lot of movements, was hoping if someone has advice on learning it (eg practice with 6t placements with knife/log, and then learn to incorporate bark somehow?)
Also does anyone happen to know tick manip rates with only 4 traps (currently 75 hunter)

As for rates with 4 traps i think i was getting like 120k at red chins? Could've been lower tho
Just make sure you have 'reset' off in menu entry swapper
3t is pretty easy, 1t can take a bit to learn
Not sure about the bark never really used it myself
But it's the smallest upgrade overall iirc

Dunno if we have thread necro rules but found this video that I thought was very helpful, although the timing seemed to be a lot more punishing (if you mistime it, the action completes using up the log/herb), whereas if you time it incorrectly with other methods, the box trap just merely sets up a tick later

yeah just noticed that as well, dont think ive been able to follow up traps in a row, but its a nice break as im trying to build up my attention for this

So still having trouble getting the 1t reset, im like 4k chins caught overall and not getting 1t is roouuugh af.
Im uploading a recording right now, but right after 3t laying a trap (instant), I run over to reset another trap and try instant lay again, but I keep getting a dropped item box instead of the instant lay, or sometimes my character just walks over to the box and picks it up even though I'm sure I had the input to run over.

there is some delay on your setting just normally and doing too many 3t resets, I’d focus on 3t reset and doing corner boxes 1t (click 1tile past then collect, 1t reset) which is the easiest way I found to learn this
