Don't eat all the time
I think BRUH has a guide elsewhere on how to eat optimally, lemme look around
Hmm I did find a guide but it doesn't mention it
Wiki has some ideas that you can follow though
https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Mage_Training_Arena/Creature_Graveyard
Basically it seems like you are eating to full health but you can just eat a couple of bananas per inv and that should be fine
487 is assuming ur turning in like 26-27 bones per inv, and we gave you buffer up to 650 so that's like turning in 20 per inv instead
Which means you eat like 6-7 per inv, i.e. like 13 hp worth of restoration
The falling damage only hits u for 2 so you should really be fine
OK fine let's say you have it all in ur inv and you have one staff equipped
Then 6 slots lost, 22 bones in inv
650 nats = 20 per inv
Which means you can eat two bananas per round = 4 HP back
Even if u get damaged twice while picking up 22 bones you should break even on HP
Basically the key is to make sure you are gathering bones and running as much as possible so that you are generating bananas/points faster than you are getting hit from the passive damage. And you should eat while running if you can
I think you can cast + eat 1 possibly
Even with just that safe strat you shouldn't die I think
If you're gathering as fast as possible
Lemme tag @pseudo meadow here, I think they just did this step
Perhaps they have some advice to offer
Yea up to u, I can try to take a look
Oh yea the other thing is that there's a trick for depositing order that maximizes the inv
I use ffmpeg but I'm on Linux
ffmpeg -ss ${XX:YY} -i ${~/recording.mp4} -t ${MM:SS} -c copy ${~/out.mp4}
where everything wrapped in ${...} should be substituted with appropriate relevant values
Yea seems like ur eating too much
Another thing u can do it bring a bunch of lobsters or swordfish and juggle them on the ground
It's rly annoying but it's an alternative to what the wiki suggests
For reference, this is what the wiki suggests
It's rly annoying but you basically juggle everything around
Yea
Good luck π let me know how it turns out
I'll continue following this thread so you can just post here, I'll see it
Yea what ur doing is fine, just costs more nats
70 from start to finish?
or 70 for BJ specifically?
should be faster than that I think π€
80 Thieving itself should take like maybe 15 hours max
Ahhhh nice that's awesome π
Yea that sounds good
hi
yes
i juggled food
Yea thought so
Think that's the best way too, just bring in like 18 lobbies or swords and play jugglescape since you don't need to eat often
Annoying as hell
i had my staff, runes for graveyard in my info
and took like 22 lobbies or w/e
and juggled them
would get 90-100 pt trips
didtn eat any bananas
π
yep, can turn on ground item timers for despawn
487 assumes you're turning in 20 per inv. You get natures back from depositing
you need to get in cycle for 20 bananas per inv, not 14-15. You are significantly increasing the nature rune cost doing it your way
This is not what you do
when starting from scratch, you grab the t1 bones and drop them, never to be heard from again
then you grab 8 bones (4x2 + 4x3, or 4x4+4x1 alternating) and cast the spell once
There's a full text MTA guide in https://docs.google.com/document/d/19dIIATWbZ64aJHt2DSOh3GXR0Ce8fc4bPOss1RoBda8/edit
Sounds good to me, thanks for the clarification
I was never a MTA doctor π
This sounds like a similar variation to what the wiki suggests
But slightly better
the wiki does a bunch of juggling
this is the simple version, slightly lower amount of bananas per cast but much more comfortable imo
I kind of disagree with how mta was handled in the guide. I opted to unlock bones to peaches before committing to graveyard room for the full run, because it was way too brutal otherwise. So I instead did the early mta training in a different room to make up for the xp. Also, if you do go this way don't use peaches for every cast just when you need food
You can just suck it up but I hated my life when eating bananas
also not a banana eating enjoyer, i did wand+boots+peaches and i'd bring an inv of food and juggle that each time i came out to MTA -> go do one of the other 3 rooms while hp regen'd to 99 -> do another short trip before leaving, break for birdrun herb run do something else and each time make some progress till peaches. once peaches done graveyard ezpz.
If you only take runes + staff needed for bones 2 bananas, loot 23 worth of bones eat 3 before you deposit the remaining 20 you'll never run of hp.
yeah i just juggled food it wa spretty quick
since graveyard is already high attention required
juggling food isnt that much more work honestly
