ModInstaller is a cross-platform application for installing mods in the Minecraft launcher easily.

You will no longer need to go into appdata or setup a new launcher, this program installs mods automatically.

Modinstaller integrates the public Modrinth API to search and install mods without opening a web browser, directly in the app. You can also install other mods selecting their .jar file.

This program is compatible with Windows, MacOs and Linux. You might see a window saying it's not safe this program, but is completely safe, you can check it in it's source code if you want.

If you want to install it, go here: https://github.com/Buildercgr/ModInstaller

We already have launchers like prism, modrinth, and curseforge for this

#

And your computer doesn't think it's a virus

does it offer anything unique?

#

does it only interact with the actual appdata .minecraft?

#

it doesnt make new installations?

I think this is just a .jar downloader which downloads it into the folder you choose

Modinstaller wasn't made to replace Curseforge or PrismLauncher. It was made so you don't have to install a new launcher and use appdata folders. And it wasn't made by an enterprise team.
