There's also only one tarkraft as far as I can tell with an online server and active developer (myself) so if you look up the name and investigate you will find gold. If you don't want to commission me because you don't see a fancy github profile well that is a huge loss lol

people check that not just for credentials but to make sure you can actually mod
People should not have to do a background check on you for information that should be upfront, instead you will lose business to people with more visible proof.

This is a niche market, you need to make it as easy as possible for clients to want to hire you
And that includes showing portfolios lol
It's standard practice for almost every profession nowadays and if you are a developer of 5+ years then I'm surprised you are not aware
