whats the best way to get the same equip and specific skills and also leveling them fast ( star) . is it better to level them to 5 star then fuse or not

uhh iirc if you fuse another equipment with the same skill as the one you're strengthening, then you'll get a higher lvl version of that skill. otherwise there not much else to it i think, just try to experiment, and always read which skills do what exactly. They always have a description
i haven't played Zesty in a hot minute tho so take my words with a grain of salt
generally, just try to prioritize the stats each character uses the most, like physical dmg for melee attackers, and focus, arte dmg and elemental dmg for spellcasters

How do i know if a char is phy or spellcaster
It doesnt really give you a higher level of the skill. It gives different skill of there is another skill on the slot

like Sorey doesn't do spells, Lailah or Mikleo only do spells or artes
