I think the thing with Onigashima is that you can't really fix it with a few things removed or added, it would have to be restructured. A lot of the time, you could tell that Oda didn't have a plan for moving things from Point A to Point B and was making it up as he went along, stalling characters for no good reasons

Dressrosa in comparison is so tightly structured

Thats a big arc done right, WCi too

For example, Jack went to the rooftop, lost to Inu and Neko offscreen and then got back up again to lose to Inu in a mostly offscreen fight anyways. Its terrible

A restructured arc would just streamline that to one focused Jack fight that pays off the Neko and Inu story, taking place after they lose to Kaido.
