That Koby and Morgans Marine base farewell scene is still one of my fav scene in OP because it sets early on about Luffy and his value’s inspiring even those who are completely different from him , amd also about the “good” in the base Marines that Garp wants to protect. About them setting aside their ranks and positions and saluting Luffy

i think I know what you mean because Oda could have developed usopp better regardless of what he does with Loki, but the way he's written the arc, it's clear Loki is the one with the big lights on

"Sacrificed" assumes that Oda intended for Elbaph to be Usopp's arc in the same way that WCI can be considered Sanji's; that's usually people's reference point when they talk about Elbaph being Usopp's arc

We don't really know what Oda had originally envisioned for Usopp in Elbaph

They also wouldn’t have the grand fleet, so Luffy wouldn’t be an Emperor

The lookouts outside Kaidos castle woukd have also been able to report them, ruining the ambush

Usopp also saved Kinemon’s life and I’m pretty sure Kiku’s
