Add to that the singular verse from Harley that mentions the taming of demons by the forest god while the sun god spread seeds of war, the weird line from Luffy earlier in the arc where he specifically recognized Chopper for unknown reasons when he was falling down to the underworld, its got me thinking that Oda is building to a reveal about his Hito Hito no Mi being connected to Luffy's Hito Hito no Mi.

There's also the long-standing idea that its Chopper's awakening that will turn him into the Panacea, since the Drum Island arc hinted that the All Cure Medicine is rumored to look like a mushroom just like Chopper's DF is.
