SoI just took a gander real quick at the Elbaf Mural as well as the Moon murals and I found some architectural similarities between the first world section of the Elbaf mural and the Moon mural. It seems to be a bit simplified but the walkway on that the slaves were traversing om (Elbaf mural), resembles the one the Birkas were on. So like it's very plausible that they invaded Blue Planet based on the infrastructure

The Moon tribes left the Moon for the Blue Planet due to their natural resources/energy being depleted. Now when Enel arrived there and revitalized the Moon with his electrical energy, some creatures (I forgot their name but they look like chopper) were resurrected, and afterwards they'd all shown gratitude to Enel. What if those creatures were being exploited somehow by the Birkas, for their energy the same way the Blue Planet inhabitants were

On the Moon mural the Birkas were on the walkways heading towards their caskets (pun intended), with the Birkas somehow absorbing energy from them. That same walkway was used by humans on the first world, who seemed to be carrying some sort of object above their heads. I believe that object to be a visual representation of the energy they carried. The Birkas must have had extraordinary power to oppress the Blue Planet and essentially force them to be their slaves to extract that energy

Now I could go into detail about what this power is or what possibly happened afterwards on the Blue Planet after the Birkas arrived but it'll take too long so I'll leave it at this: The Moon tribes left the Moon for the Blue Planet. There they found essentially an endless supply of raw materials/energy, and abided by their greed they took it all for themselves by subjugating the Blue Planet inhabitants using brute force and their advanced technology. The enslaved inhabitants prayed for devil fruits and a savior, and then Nika appeared and then the whole first world incident begun.
