But I do find that more forgivable because i think its just a limitation of publishing weekly over 29 years that not every late game thing and its connections to various groups is going to be in your mind every step along the way. So yeah in a perfect world it might have come up, but I can understand why as a practical reality it might not have.
Sabo amnesia was there from day 1 pretty much though. At the characters proper introduction (after ace's death), the runway was short enough to know that a big fat amnesia band-aid was going to be required
